Kewl bananas! I just did a couple of laps time trial at La Sarthe with the kart, then pre-quali with the rexy at Bathurst. For some reason the WRX seems to work for me at Bathurst, but I have a hard time dealing with it at other tracks. The Viper has always been the most stable for me without getting left behind on the straits. I was getting 19.7 with the suby, but that was only a couple of laps and I know I have another couple of seconds I can gain.

The Megane sure is quick at Mount Panorama today but geez does it understeer when you put your foot down on the corners.

Tried a few different cars and found I can lap similar times in the TT. Corners better but a little slower on the straights.

My best lap at Le Mans yesterday. I'm pretty happy with the lap even though my optimal was a 3:15.7. Normally I'm well off the pace in Gr.1s but this was definitely a turnaround for me :D

Cheers mate, great lap! I managed to get a 3:16.8, 3 tenths off your lap, but I had a solid lead in the EU ranking so I stopped there. I'll post my lap later in the day :)
BTW I was pretty sure someone in America or Asia was gonna get an equal or even even quicker lap. Congrats, great stuff

Hello race fans, and welcome. Welcome to all the drama at Mount Panorama! :sly: I reckoned I could shave another 2s off my initial pre-qualifying time, and I managed it :D. Original time would have got me P8. I was kinda surprised to find I was on the grid in P3 (I'm always surprised when I'm not in the bottom half :dunce:). The line up was a mix of DR/C and D with an alien on pole. They won by about 30s.

The first corner was pretty civilised at my end, with one guy shooting past me on the inside, and ending up in the sand. At the next corner the person in front slammed into the wall and I just trundled by. I had one eye on the gap behind me and another on the track while I just focused on keeping it on the track :scared:. I came out of the pits in the same position I went in, with a 5s gap ( I didn't change tyres). I held that gap and increased it at times, but on the second last lap it dropped to 2s after I scraped the wall at Forest Elbow. No penalty. With someone breathing down my neck I somehow managed to hold on :nervous:. End result:

I'm still a bit shaky .

No penalties, but the wall scrape cost me a clean race bonus. SR back to 99 :dopey:. DR up by another 1.3k. Day 3 of DR/C :D.

Some Le Mans action from yesterday. I had some trouble with the pitstop as it was my second race on this track and i didn't now where to brake :O
Had a nice battle for 2nd position in the end. 👍

Le Mans is great for online races but the penalty system is really strange at some points. Maybe the drivers must get used to the track limits first, otherwise most races will be decided by the amount of penaltys everyone is collecting. :yuck:

Had a good back and forth battle on the final lap of a Le Mans race. The other driver had worn tires due to not changing them in the pitstop, but had way more top speed

Wow, that was some amazing fighting. I guess it was his tires that prevented him to get better exits in the corners.
You also was running on fumes ! 0.1 lap left ....

Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, the other driver didn't change tires, which I believe was a faster strategy if it worked, but more risky.

Done two races at the mountain so far. In the first one I started p10 because I only managed one q lap before the race. I immediately get ping ponged around and accumulate 18 seconds of penalties. After serving them I’m dead last with a big gap to the next guy. I manage to claw back a couple places but finish in 13th or 14th.

Next race I am on pole but now with Sr. A so not a top lobby. I go out for the warmup and just as auto drive takes over: BSOD.

So, that’s 2200 Dr. points and 18 Sr. points gone because other people are dirty and PD has sold me an unfinished turd, yet again I might add, and now I’m on the brink of another Dr. reset.

Such a great game this.

Heisann Vegard - with these penalty issues ---- try this one... if they block you over and over just "climb" over them. NO penalties .:cheers::gtpflag:

I got disconnected again at the very end of the next race while going to the result screen, luckily after the online save so SR and DR were save. However I wanted to report this ass:

As I come around the corner he's ghosted, the Canadian in the dark colored car. It looks like he got pushed out by the American in the blue car. I pass both, then the Canadian full on punts the American, who crashes into the Brazilian, who crashes into me. He takes out the American and the Brazilian, I barely manage to hold on and receive 2 sec penalty for what??? The Canadian ends up behind me, also finishes behind me in 8th. I can understand he's upset about getting pushed out and getting a penalty, yet that's no excuse to go play pinball.

Anyway not a bad race moving up 8 positions. The next race however was a dream come true.
!

PD really needs to fix this ASAP, I can not think of 1 good reason in the entire world that you should be penalized for getting rear ended thru a corner, are you not penalized enough just getting pushed offline or maybe even into the kitty litter if you are lucky??? This is ridiculous.

Tried the one Make Race C race with the Ferrari.. bad move.. Then did one with the Megane and things worked out better, last lap, last corner..
A car had been flashing penalty and was ghosted.. someone was serving time.. the penalty went away and it was still ghosting, it enters the corner to the straight and suddenly the revs goes up and the ghosting goes away.. i was in the same corner.. now i am i pushing the other car, i try to pull left, but not cigar, i go right, still no cigar, finally i make it to the left.. the other car is still slow... and i leave it in the dust and take the flag..

This person was out of gas, but when you stop accelerating you ghost, by pulling into the corner and hitting the accelerator, he goes out of ghost and nearly gives me a Penalty (for pushing), and then proceeds to block me without any speed whatsoever..

First racer i have reported..

Having a blast at Bathurst today, and after a long time struggling here I think I'm finally getting the flow of the mountain.
The first few races were a bit disappointing because I tried (and failed...) to make a no-stop work, but every race has been beyond clean and I even managed to bag my 94th,95th and 96th victory
It's my first time breaking into the 2'11's there, if only just. Best lap so far is a 2'11.869 in the TT cup (which has benefitted well from that 1% power bump btw) but I know the little audi has a few tenths left in it.

did they fix the GT-R LM Nismo then? Last time I tried it the wheelspin made it undriveable, TCS off btw..

Of today's three daily races, I only feel comfortable with Race A: One make at Kyoto Miyabi. I had won that earlier today. In this month of May, I had won a total of 24 daily races, the most I had in any month at this point.

What is this cockpit view at the top left??? Can you use the PSVR in dailies qualifier???
Actually... No
I was just slightly moving the analog stick in Replay mode to give a cool edge to the On board
If you set one of the analog stick on your pad to look around (left and right) you can smoothly look around yourself in cockpit mode in both races and replay mode. It's pretty cool I'll tell you
Here's the footage in fullscreen, enjoy

Oh Ho ho! Check this guy out right the very end!
I bumped him earlier, but made sure I didn't gain an advantage. I damn near stopped an and made sure he/she stayed ahead(plus I was in 3rd gear anyway).

I got a penalty for too much grass. Normally I serve them straight away. At 1.4 seconds red dunce cap, and 0.6seconds ahead of 4th, I could stop at the finish with a lap to go. Skip the intro and watch my driving or skip to the end.

I couldn't even comment after that.

That is pretty crappy at the end

A few hours ago, Gr4, Bathurst, q12, last sector of last lap (the long straight,) will finish 5th or 6th, controller shuts off, careen into the infield, smash the PS button, controller powers back up, finish 11th, battery is @ 2 bars.

Today's Race C, Gr3 @ Blue Moon Bay Speedway, qualified 19 out of 19 (didn't get to practice but two laps,) got one 3 sec penalty, set fastest laps, finished 6th (+13,) LOST SR again. :(

Man yesterdays race B was hell. Second corner I was pushed to the wall (penalty), bounced back and hit a car (penalty) and finally bounced back to the wall and another penalty. 3 penalties/15 seconds in one turn.. All SR:S and I think only the winner came out blue. That was expected though.

The Lancer is quite fun. Now I wish to see more 90's cars in race A.

This is the exact reason why I don't go anywhere near the daily race B anymore.

Only one bit of contact with a car and either or both SR and DR go down with no chance of it climbing again.

It's also full of drivers with the intention of raising places at any or all costs....divebombing or ramming out of the way due to the limited number of laps.

Don't see this changing any time soon.

It's daily C, Nations or Manufacturers for me only now in sport mode unfortunately.

Question: How poorly can a car handle?

Answer: Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV GSR.

Snap oversteer AND soul crushing wash out understeer, in the same corner.

AYC = Advanced Yaw Complications.
