The last time this Race C combo came up I had one race on it. I broke away from the pack along with one other guy who pitted. I didn't. Pretty sure I was about ten seconds ahead with two laps left and it was only then he started making up any reasonable amount of time.

Next week's Nordschleife race will be in the 911 that came up a few months ago. Why do they keep repeating the same car/track combos?

I couldn’t get my head round what he was up to. It’s not like anyone upset him because he purposely waited from the start line to start his kamikaze mission.
I can only think that he was full of booze or something :confused:

After trying all GR.4 cars multiple times I eventually settled back on the Huracan. GT-R, 4C, Cayman, Megane are all fast as well, however the Huracan has the best balance between stability, to absorb and recover from blows, and maneuverability to avoid divers, cars spinning out and people playing GTA.

It was still dirty today for example:

The Huracan is great at avoiding. I rarely get to drive at my fastest (low 1:39) yet avoiding penalties is much easier now.

I'm back to B/S as well, 13.3k. I did lose 3 SR in my last race, all from SR Downs from people bumping me from behind in traffic. Can't do anything about that besides reporting 2 or 3 people per race. Not that it helps, just some statistics for PD to ponder.

I got a couple 4th place finishes, still no podium though. I rather keep my SR and let the bump passers through. Order is restored today, it's often a South American starting trouble. I feel bad for the ones showing great race craft and etiquette. The anti Brazilian greetings are already back in full force.
 
Well, that didn't lastlong... :lol:

First race back and get body slammed at the hairpin. Player from way back smashes the car behind into me. The perp gets 5.2 seconds, blah blah bah.

I think the really bad thing is, seeing those red bar specials in full force, even before the race starts.

More Race Bs where two of my usual race times were ruined by an alien doing a Manufacturer Assesment, then the SunFungus boi punt-a-lag me during the 86 race and dropped to 4th in the end, then held my position (2nd) with the UndersTTeery boi, then finally a pole-to-win race in the PUMA Evo.

Well, I cannot get the 458 Into the 1.37.s for race B. I've hit soooo many 1.38.0xx is not funny. Did a couple of races. Started mid pack n nothing dirty but all the little rubs have cost me SR. I'm sticking with the 458 though, even if my Dr does take a hit.

Had some fun races
 
WooHoo! I finally got under 1:38 on race B!! The new physics are taking some getting used to but there is so much more grip now, I love it. I got my race C time down to 1:07.9 as well, haven’t done a race today though because I don’t feel comfortable enough with the new changes just yet, Hopefully soon though. :)

The physics change means that maybe I can finally drive rear-wheel drive cars at TCS 1, instead of 2. I may be able to finally compete in Gr.3 races. 👍

And, by the way, why the hell does it seem to be accepted that we've got to restart the game after every race, because of this disconnection bug? I'm an unhappy customer, who's paying for this. It's getting old.

This has far and away been my #1 critique of both GTS and PD. This bug was new with update 1.25 which came out August 29th...

That means we have had a game breaking bug for ~1/3rd of this games' lifespan. This doesn't even qualify as unacceptable. Its far beyond that point... It's egregious, and, it highlights PD's biggest weakness, which is a complete lack of a community relationship.

I hadn’t even thought of that, great point. The Gr1 cars are gonna stick to the road like glue now as well, that should be fun as well.

Thanks, and same to you. I did it in the TT(no assists) after trying with the 4C for over an hour. The 4C handles even better now but I just can’t seem to carry speed with like I can with the TT for some reason. I’m getting more and more used to the new grip though the more I drive, the more I think it’s gonna benefit my driving style in the long run, more grip is never a bad thing. I can’t wait to try something faster on soft tires! :D

I just got my race A time down to 1:07.103 and shaved a tenth of my Race C time a few minutes ago. It’s been a good night for hot laps. :)

Edit: Just shaved another 2 tenths off of race C, 1:07.6 now. :)

Ah yes race b with new matching...I decided to jump in although my q time isn’t fantastic. Tough room.
Only 4 B. I’m starting last as the lone Honda representative. To compound the issue I make an error lap 1 and lose the draft.
I spend until lap three to catch the 3 guys battling it out and get close. I get an exit on lap four and pass the 4c ahead of me completely and he tucks in behind entering hairpin. He swerves inside last second for a simple bump pass...Jerk. It’s such a weak move to drive dirty and bump pass and I wasn’t expecting it. That turn design sucks because it invites mayhem and it rewards dirty behavior.
I caught again and thought about a punt entering the right left on lap five but that’s weak and I don’t revenge. I pass again on the straight and this time there are four of us now in a battle. I go inside to defend but he gets by on exit. FairPlay there and good driving.
I then make an error entering the triple apex and basically finish last although I guess I picked up 2 spots over crashes.
Matchmaking is gonna be tough going forward and I doubt I will be putting in the time to complete my b and get to a. The cars drive better!

This issue, combined with the lack of banning those cheap cheater kids (nice video above, worth a lifetime ban immediately) prevent me from racing online for months now. We can say it is my problem, who cares? And that's right. But if you and all the others are keep on going, the userbase is OK, why should they do anything? Everything seems to be fine. Until they face 16-spot races with 4-5 attendants.
(And don't forget, it is prepaid "service". Their income doesn't affected directly if we scrap out this thing after payment. And the mass of the kids will purchase the next one also - it is a success story. ;))

So basically what yer saying is that you are a prepper, and playing the game isn't about racing, but survival? :lol:

I bet you are one of those people who has a secret set of switches that require a sequence in the right order to be flipped to start the car, and if they get it wrong, the car blows up?

The take downs seem too precise to me for this to be drunk racing.

I think this clown is just playing something other than a racing game. Its more likely they're just playing demo derby. Their kudosprime stats speak volumes to this as they seem to spend a lot of time in SR E.

Yes I looked at his KP last night too... his charts are mental but he can obviously drive well if he wants to

Any predictions what will be the N400 car for the next week's race B on Nordschleife ? I don't like race A and not really a particular fan of Mount Panorama, so I'm thinking to give a try to the Green Hell :) I'm guessing that they will use the Tuscan, since they always use new cars of the last update on the new daily races, but who knows....
 
Some Race Bs for this part of the day where on the SLS race, I attempted a dumb passing manouvre on Lap 1 on a GT-R, which simply costed me than anything, as the GT-R somehow gained victory in that race. Then come to the Mégane races after improving my quali time with a 1:37.568, .007 seconds behind Fwappy Boi, and first up with the Speedy Understeery Boi and things didn't pan out, and then there's that red TT that killed me, Johnny Mustang, and what seems to be @ShiftingGears at some point before plowing himself to the wall, presumably killed back by Johnny. And then switched to the Grippy Slow Boi and I found myself on pole, and got the win, despite HighStakes and Yuichi-san being ultra fast after Bspec-_-Bob's Malaysian Cousin binned his GGO 4C somewhere in the midpack...

I got kamikazed at least once by the Audi, but to be honest I had already spun off once of my own accord before then. Still gave the player a gentle recommendation after the race, however ;)

In the next race I qualified only 9th with a lap of 1:38.19, there were some quick players this evening.

A quick round in Race C. Grid P9 Race P5, I should've saved my tires for the final half, got them worn out badly on the last 2 laps which suffered a drop in places.

Whats everyones thoughts on passing at the left hander before the four apex corner at DT Gardens? I've pulled off passes there, but not without being turned in on when I am fully alongside the person I'm attempting to pass.
