Well, all in all, a good night of racing. Ran race A a bunch of times. Saw @Sven Jurgens in a few, and got to dice with him a bit. It's kind of nice, with this combo we seem to be of similar speeds. Got 3 clean races in a row at one point. Back to 99 SR. Was in a couple of fast rooms with @Sven Jurgens where we were gridded close to the back. Traffic is a challenge back there, even in an S room. Also had some races gridded top 5. Was really looking forward to my second to last race. I think I was gridded P3 and @Sven Jurgens was P5, but the battle didn't happen. When the warm up ended, my wheel went full lock right. I had to jump up and unplug it so it would re-initiallize. Countdown started as I got back in my seat, put my foot to the floor...and nothing. Took me a second, then I realized I hadn't hit the PS button to get the game to recognize my wheel as the controller. Was back 28 seconds by the time I got going. Finished last, but only by about 2 seconds I think. I did put down my fastest lap ever on lap 2. Only a tenth off of the fastest lap of the race. That star would have been a sweet consolation! Last race started 3rd and finished second with 2 stars. Fun race...tough battle.

I just realized that I never looked at the time for my fastest lap on that last race, and I didn't save the replay. Anyone know if there's a way to check? Maybe @Sven Jurgens saved the replay...

Edit: Just had a wicked race with a few guys I wasn’t familiar with, I started first but fumbled a little on lap 2 and 2nd got by clean and 3rd had his nose far enough inside that I had to let him around as well. I stayed close to them the rest of the way and waiting for my chance while they battle it out with each other. It came on the final lap, I passed one of them and had a run the the other in the final turn but I missed the apex just slightly and didn’t get quite enough speed coming out to pass him on the home stretch. What a wicked race though, that was a lot of fun. This is the final lap.

That looks very familiar! My last race was very similar. Lots of really close racing...lots of fun!

I am horrible at trying to type a message after a race. Felt bad that I tried to go inside a much slower person on the first corner at the F1 Nurburgring and completely missed my brake point and hammered him/her. I actually pulled to the side and let everyone pass I felt so shamed. Lol.

I’m usually bright green car with purple hood etc. My apologies in advance to everyone. I’m trying to drive clean but be competitive.

I wish the people that feel they should hammer hard on the brakes when several hundred feet away from the brake point cones would stop doing so. I am surprised and brake hard, but tap them and then I get the orange SR flag and sometimes a 3 second penalty. Meanwhile, they wiggle and continue on Scot free.

Did a Race B in an RC F after setting a new time of 1:56.371 with the R8. I started on pole ahead of a Kiwi in the Huracán. Race starts and some Japanese guy who started in 3rd got presumably knocked out by a certain blitztoo (the same guy who took me out during the last days of the N24 Race C in Gr.3 cars). The rest of the race is all about whether or not I can hold on to a lights-to-flag victory. And I did, with the Huracán finishing 0.665 seconds behind, but holds the fastest lap with a 1:57.4xx. 3rd place goes to a blue Genesis.

I am blitztoo !!! I've had three races today - the first I was second third on the grid - with a yellow Hurricane in front. A blue car spun in front of me and I could not avoid it but it ghosted. i got punted on the 180 corner and ended up 14th, but got back to 8th. I've been 99 SR every race too ... but at the starts, my car has been jumping all over the place, until the traffic thins out, typically at the start of lap 2. I think if there's 16 cars, the game just cannot handle the corners when there is a mass of cars. My game also dropped me from a start too, and I reboot the PS4. After the 3r race with all the jumping around, I stopped.

What is your PSN name?? I'll make sure I will protect you! I'll have another go soon.

Sorry if I have stuffed you up. When was the n24 race? I haven't raced for a 10 days or so due to an appendix operation ... I did one qualify run in the Porsche race at N24 but I did not ace ... this was when I came back from hospital ... strange ...

Bathurst12H was amazing!!! Tbh, i didn't know that circuit untill i played GTS. But it's now one of my top 3 of tracks in the game. To see them race there is fenomenal!

Yeh ... its an old name, and I bought my son's PS4. He bought a Pro. If you Click Melbourne Park, then click Melbourne Park again, it should say the PSN as a comment.

I actually did a search for your name yesterday, on the Kudos site, and also tried the first letters: "razaqa" but still nothing came up!! I don't know if adding " * " after "razaqa"would provide your name. That wild card search " * " used to work in MS DOS. Back in 1985.

You are very quick! I am not!!!

My SR is now down to 93, and its all Japanese now, and what happens is cars jostle at the first corner, then at the next one, someone runs wide ... they then come back into a pack of cars ... I've not hit anyone, but my SR just sits there. A blue SR symbol the race before last, my SR didn't change. Hmm ... it a bit strange.

I am really a B driver but squeezed into A. Won't be there long unless I improve.

I've got faster though at NurbF1 but I need to work out better corner 3 and 4, and also, the right hander before the last medium straight before the chicane ... I am too scared to get fully over to the left but I know if I did, doing so would open up the corner and save quite a bit of time. Sometimes I am in 3rd there in the R8, sometimes 2nd. I am looking forward to working that corner out.

I might have a couple of races tonight but when its all Japanese, its a bit worrying, the seem quite happy to bump. But an Aussie guy booted me out of 4th two races ago, there was a decent gap behind him, but I still finished 9th and lost DR, he just plow into me t corner 3, I reckon the gap was wide enough for him to pay off his time penalty, which he got ...

The guys here wrote today about having the revs in the middle before the game moves the car - I have been doing that and I've have even drawn alongside a blue Lexus on the start straight. So if I go right, that corner is mine if I turn tightly. The problem is the car to the left often gets pissed off. If I am alongside to the right, I cannot go left either. But I am now driving further to the right after corner 1. I loose the place but at least I have a reasonable gap to the car behind me ...

I was gunna change my livery back to my standard livery, but in honour of the Bathurst 12h I've decided to leave this particular car with the livery I was running at Bathurst last week . Managed to get close to my AMG qualifying time with "this other car" (don't want to put out any spoilers as to the race results). Now I just wait till after midnight to race .

Edit: Race over. I was the highest starting DR/D on the grid! (all two of us !) The grid was DR/B and C so that put me P13....... out of 15 .

The race starts and dumps me at the last corner. The awkward starting position meant I lost a position at T1, and then I couldn't get the car to handle anything like it did in qualifying... down to last place .

All I could do was circulate and hope I could adapt to the understeer and lack of turn in and somehow stay on track. I had to wait what seemed like an eternity on most corners before I could give it some welly to get the tail round. PD have taken away it's tight turning ability under coast . Others started to fall off or had problems and I started to gain positions. I was up to P8 on the final lap, but lock up saw me loose 2 positions and gain a 0.4s penalty . So P10 for me.

SR went up 2, DR dropped a couple of hundred. Another day above DR 1.

Summing up my races for tonight after setting a 1:56.267 in the R8.

Atenza race: No turn in, plus an opportunistic Porsche equals a 2nd place for me.

WRX race 1: Livery creator yuyuko_0418 spotted in the lobby, but I got the pre-warmup LE DISKO!

WRX race 2: Here's a picture on Lap 3...

WRX race 3: No chance to defend against a Vantage and a FedEx RC F. Well well well the Kasumi WRX is apparently cursed at this point, just like the Suzukaze Pug before finally winning a Dragon Trail Seaside II race...

Squeezing in a few races before the wife gets up this morning. First two were fairly standard, managed to gain a few places in each race by keeping a cool head and staying clean and consistent with my laps. Third race was amasing. I dont even know what to say. I pulled my way up from 6 to 3 and had two of my most intense and amazing racing moments that I've had this week if not ever in this game. I saved the replay but am not so good with compuper stuff so i wont be able to share it here with you guys the way some of yous do.

Gonna hit up one more then my week is done. Will be at my parents to watch the game later and doubt I'll be able to drive let alone race afterwards lol

Well I go nicely beaten up tonight - I lost 1800 DR in two races - coming fourth, I got punted off at the chicane on lap 4 - just the chicane to go - I came 13th. The same type of thing happened in the next race, but I got back some places. Then I had three races tonight - and in the first , I lost over 1,000 DR! The same issue being booted into sand ... I had three races with a starting 34,901, so I thought one race and I am at 35,000. But now my SR is 84, and my DR c6 car lose to 33,000. The last race I got over 500 points, sitting in traffic and fearful of a punt from behind. There were 6 cars with 1:56 time or better, and I started 10th with a 1:57.503, the 14th car was also a 1:57. I am quick now through the chicane but in a way that's not good, because the guy behind figures the only way past is to hit in my car end. And no penalty. Another favourite is at corner three - instead of the normal line, you aim across the corner and collect a car on the bitumen. I know, I leant the hard way, and the guy who took me out had a 2 second penalty flying. All SR S field.

My green Audi is the first car I've painted. I still quite like the first timer's attempt. I am not sure now what happened there RZQ? If I hit him, it sure wasn't deliberate. I wish I had of done more of those races though, as I was picking up lots of easy points. The much later all Japanese Sunday evening event (except for me) was brutal if one cannot run at 1:58's every lap. In practice I found the car was faster with the brake balance in the middle. I ran 5 sub 1:58 laps in a row, including two 1:576s and two 1:57.7s. Then in the race, I go conservative and I think it annoys the guy behind me.

All you have to do is creat a YouTube account, it only takes a few minutes. Then in the PS4 settings you link that account to you PS4. Then just simply watch your replay in whatever view you want others to see it from and at the end push the share button, trim the clip you want to share to length, then click share. It’s really not very hard and it’s really fun to be able to share the videos with you guys!

Thanks. I do have the ability then i guess. I did upload a couple gta vids a fee years back. I did save the replay so maybe I'll give it a try.

My last race was another great and intense race. I followed a guy for three and a half laps who i shared some good moments with in the previous races. But i noticed a certain name with a certain flag moving up through the field tbe whole race, and i am ashamed to admit i let my prejudice get to me. Instead of defending my position i let him by when i saw he was going for the inside. I just wanted to end on a good note so the thought of us both ending up in the dirt was unacceptable to me, and he was obviously faster anyway.

Hey man, Welcome to GTP. If that happens try restarting the game(close application and re open, no need to restart the entire PS4), that will usually stop it for a while at least.

Another Monday morning surprise, I guess. Nothing posted on KP.

This is bad, because right now my SR is above 90 which means I'll probably get pitted against the top of EMEA, so I have to post a good Q lap on Monday morning if I want any chance at a decent grid position Not to mention the fact that I'll have to abstain from the PS4 again starting next Monday

At least the daily races reset at 9am here, so I don't have to wake up at some ungodly hour like you NA people (unless the reset time is not universal?)

I'm on the west coast, and I think here, the new races start at about 11:00 pm. Not really sure about that. It could be midnight. I don't race that late.

Nice track re-entry, 2 sec penalty for me. Couldn't tell which way to go.

There was one more with a car jumping the hill in T2, didn't clear me lol. We were both at the back of the pack so it didn't matter. Finished the last lap in style backwards over the finish.

@sturk0167 yeh but the suspense is killing me. I’ve worked every day except 2 since the start of January but I’m off tomorrow and have the house to myself. Praying to the GT Gods that there’s a car & track combo I like now that I’ll finally have a few hours to play.

Got time for 4 races today. Daily B, Nurby GP with the Lexus Prototype. Think it was 4 4th place starts. Had 6th, 3rd, 3rd & 2nd place finishes. DR back to 9,500 and knocking on DR B after losing 5K points at Bathurst last week. SR back to 98 too.

All clean fun accept for a poor German in an R8 who tried to bully me inside on T5 but found himself outside and on the gravel on T6. I mean like, do these people not think you are going to defend just as aggressively as they attack?

Welcome to GTP. The kick from lobby is a long running, common and very much ignored by PD issue. Pay attention to your lobbies and you’ll see that you regularly have a P8 for example but start P7 because another player gets kicked. Some folk have taken to restarting the game between every race.

Haven't had this happen!

What I have noticed today is that, with a few races (Race A) in a row where I started in P5, in half of them I was starting in 1st gear, the other half I was starting in 2nd - I wonder what determines which gear you start in?

Never noticed that. What does annoy me is some cars starting in the rev limiter at the end of the count down.

Yeh - happened to me. I was second on the grid, and when the car started moving, I turned hard right and drove into the sand. Or PD did. Then suddenly I was in the lead, so I started the race - and then cars appeared all around me, and me and others went off at the end of the track. I came out 15th after being stuck in the sand with the lack of TC stopping me from getting out. I lost 850 DR.

Yup, I was a 100 points away from DR B that race The worst part about getting stuck in a sand trap is the game being inconsistent in resetting you to the track. Some times It immediately resets you back to the track other times it seems to wait till you are almost out and on your way to reset you which at that point is slower..

I did two races today with one finishing 3rd (B/S lobby) And another one finishing 1st (als B/S lobby). I felt really dirty at winning that race because I tried tcs on. I wanted to try tcs because I was racing a lot of guys who had tcs and I wanted to see the difference. I felt really bad for the guy in third who only used abs. I don't like what they did to tcs after the update...

EDIT2: Another 6th on grid to finish 5th. Up 6,000 points for the evening. Network kicked me from next grid so my que to go get beers.
