I haven't improved my QT on Interlagos at all. But tried 2 races anyways.

Up one spot in the first and held position in the 2nd. Overall DR down on Interlagos this week. Up on Tsukuba. So it's all good.

Almost all full blue grids both times. Going on about 2 weeks now without so much as contact with another car. Racing around me has been as clean as I could hope for.

Lots of horrible gaming the system on Race C today.

Instead of doing a pass, cars behind are tapping the rear quarters then nudging a wall or barrier. First time this week I've seen this actively happening.

They lose very little to no time at all, yet an instant 3 second penalty for the innocent. I ended up with 3 of these in one race, all from the same driver. They even slammed me into the wall at one point, which did eventually give them a penalty. I caught up to them 2 laps later and they had garnered a full 20 seconds of penalties in those few laps. I gave them a few draft bump taps, and I they eventually got disqualified.

Noticed quite a few doing this technique in the race, too.
 
I wish I knew how to do video editing. I just had an idea of making a compilation video of the carnage at Tokyo, with the audio being (@Dairyworker, you should appreciate this) Megadeth's Symphony of Destruction. In my mind, it's really badass. Don't know how to do it, though. :lol:

Just tought i'd share this with you ..... I'm starting to look around to eventually by a new car. So i went to the Mazda dealer to have a peak at the different models and see the interiors, etc. I saw a row of brand new mx-5 and tought to myself.... We race this car in game, might as well see what it looks like from up close. Well ... I'm nowhere near being a giant ... barely 6'2" which is quite normal by today' standards .... And there was no way i could fit myself in the driver seat ! Not even close !! I find it quite strange that they would build a car that a good portion of the population don't fit in.

Anyway ... That could explain why i don't perform that well in gts in that car ! :) ;) :)

Guilty :O Although my targets are not innocent.

I've seen it happen every time there is a track with walls. Interlagos and Blue moon bay are popular tracks to use this on. Btw DQ'ing someone with draft taps is just as much gaming the system ;)

The more widespread it becomes, the sooner PD might actually start doing something about it.

Share factory and a ton of patience. You can record the audio simply by making a video of it and putting it on track 2 in share factory. (got to use the one pip style setting where you can shrink the pip window to zero)

Then after you worked on it for days you tube will block it with a copyright strike for the audio :lol:

As you do, I only dish it out to those that are worthy of simple retaliation, and this Green & Gold badged racer was deserving! Especially when costing me 16 SR points, so down to 82 now.

I don't draft bump at all as that part of the game is broken, but on occasion it's a necessary evil!
 
Tried a few race A's, decently clean around me, did SR down 2pts in the first race. Went from 8th to 4th. 2nd race battled a guy a couple laps, banged doors a couple but not too blatantly, just hard racing for a pass back and forth. Once I got the good run on him I managed to get away, 9th to 7th, guy quit or dq'd right before the last turn so I got 6th. 5th 4th and 3rd were in sight, I was actually closing on them but ran out of laps. It was fun. Not caring about R of any kind is where its at.
 
Yep schools are out. I had some quite clean races earlier, even rose up to SR.A. The race just now, too many laggy South Americans battling each other, penalties flying everywhere. I got ping pong balled a couple times, guess I'm lucky to get away with only -1 SR.

I'll be heading out to Tokyo for the race that starts in 32 minutes. I think I left off at C yesterday, though.
 
Trying the Porsche rsr for the first time. Where would you guys put the brake balance?

Good to know, thanks. I only have a handful of cars on my Alt profile so I’ve just been using the Lambo because it’s one of the few cars I already have.

You can get a lot of free cars by doing the Campaign School/Circuits/Missions.

I'm at 69 currently. Just got a neutral rating for one 3 sec penalty getting rammed into a wall. I'll be back to SR.C soon, it's getting rowdy again.

Or not, that was quite a clean race. Only two trouble makers who ended up DNF. +5 SR to 74. Still so many red dots though.

I tried to take it nice and easy. Didn't work out. -5 SR :lol:

Update: New strategy for race 2. Be aggressive. Get ahead of the idiots asap. Much better results: 2nd place finish and +8 SR. 👍

Also a car screwed up in front of me, ghosted, still hit the ghost, he gets my momentum and goes on his merry way while the field passes me again. I still had a good race with another car racing through traffic. I caught him in the end, however couldn't burn the 5 sec penalty in the 1.8 sec I was ahead of him.

Neutral ratings are so pointless, still at 74.

PD please remove the useless barrels. They are strewn over the track almost every race, can't avoid them when already avoiding chaos. What bloody real life racing series leaves obstacles lying on the track. The real barrel simulator.

I had the exact same penalty in interlagos today. And a similar one in the previous tight left turn. Interestingly, not happy enough for giving me a penalty, the guy was insulting me in the chat after. I told him "check the replay". Not sure if people save the replay to check who's fault it was. I do it when I have a doubt.
Will try racing tomorrow morning to see if it's cleaner

Bah, I'm up to 81. Another podium, penalty free, 13 places up. Got to wait for people to start getting drunk to get down to you guys :) It's dinner time right now anyway. It's supposed to be dirty hour atm but Tokyo is surprisingly clean in SR.A. See you tonight perhaps.
 
@sturk0167 probably just scared the whole lobby hahah

Got DQ’d from getting draft bumped up the straight, don’t like the Bugatti, it doesn’t handle nearly as well as the Lambo.

I think it always says that when someone drops out, all 7 guys earlierthat dropped out in that race had — E ratings after. Back to the Lambo. Sorry about the bump, that car handled like a shopping cart. :lol:

Edit: I’m still SR C, no @sturk0167 in the next race though.

Wanna switch to Lagos?

I haven't rage quit in eons. First, the one and only MX-5 race I entered and now, the Race C I was just in. I let everyone pass. Stayed 2 seconds behind a GT-R that must have crashed. We pass a 4.5 second red hat Slophy. I mean, we both blew past it. Get to turn 1 and it slams me up the right rear 3/4.

Think I'll just race as regular. Actually, Race B seems to be the best racing.

Edit: Okay, @Pigems . Just read that after I posted. Yeah, I'll either not qualify next time or just race on.

Can't do it. I get killed in Gr.3 cars. I'm still getting top 5s every time at C, without qualifying. 👍
I dropped down to 41 in the last one.

Cool, works for me. Finished 5th in that last race with a blue C and no penalties all race. Hopefully I gained enough to be back up with you lol.

A lot of fast guys seem to be leaving. Pole position in my last race (B) was 2:09.4. :lol:

Yeah, race C is losing popularity. I'm starting 12th in the next one, with no Q time. Easy podium.
