I also have over 6,500 races completed, win percentage is about 7.5%
Sadly SR.S does not mean cleaner races (on some tracks) especially on Tokyo. Due to how matchmaking works you get a higher DR spread in SR.S. Since I start at the back (without qualifying) I get to start behind less skilled drivers creating more chaos at the start of the race. Lower SR has a bigger pool of players to match on closer pace which means less trouble at the start.
SR.S also makes some people more aggressive. Either frustrated because they get matched with players of way higher skill (due to the small player pool at SR.S) or they figure they might as well 'spend' some SR points as there's nothing more to gain from driving clean.
It was pretty clear from the start that that race was a write off. When I really want to get rid off / educate a dirty player I do it like this:
That was my first race today. It's the guy starting behind me. It was clear from his behavior in T1 and T2 that he was a bad apple. Thus I put my cop mode on and went to work to pull him over. Bad boys bad boys, what you gonna do...
I guess my SR got too high, Too many SR.S drivers (and South Americans) in the room. A whole bunch dropped down to SR.B after the race, including me. There were 2 blue ratings in that room, still with red dots. The first two laps were nothing but destruction derby pinball with nowhere to go. I got up to 20 sec in penalties from getting slammed around. Dropped to last to serve the whole bunch in lap 3, then made it back to 11th. No matter, I like it better in SR.B on Tokyo. Time for a break first.
Ooh, I see N24 next week, bye bye sleep.
