Huh, next weeks races are up:

Race A - Autodrome Lago Maggiore - West II - 5 Laps - Gr.4
Race B - Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix Layout - 4 Laps - Gr.3
Race C- Fuji International Speedway - 9 Laps - N200 One Make

Maybe the request to change things up a bit has been heard. Although Fuji again. Although in an N200.
EDIT- Actually having checked, I didn't even realise there was a Lago Maggiore West variant. Let alone in reverse. That one will be completely new to me!

I can dig it. I wish Race B and C were swapped though. Id rather the Gr.3s have tire wear and fuel on.

This is also a little random,i got punted from behind so immediately quit, preserving my clean race bonus next race later i slid off into a wall, quit the race but it put paid to my consecutive clean race sequence.go figure.
If you get hit from behind make sure you drive off the road or in to a wall, if the other car gets penalised it preserves your clean race bonus.

OOF. I would've been livid. Did he at least get a penalty for that? Don't tell me he won :irked:

That GIF I posted yesterday? Still didn't affect my clean race bonus for that race. Go figure

Oh, i was livid, believe me. My dog even came down to the basement to see what was going on cuse i was screeming swear words so loud. I don't know if he got a penelty, i don't think so, he did end up winning. I think, i could check the replay i guess but it's meaningless now. Didn't see him again in 5 more races, go figure... I'll anticipate properly if i ever see him again

I just had a look on K' and according to them, next week's races are...

Race A: One-Make Gr. 4 at Maggiore West II (I bet it's the Scirocco again...)
Race B: Gr. 3 at Catalunya
Race C: One-Make N200 at Fuji (I originally predicted this race would be the Toyota SF car at Fuji, so it appears I was at least half right. The fact that I was even able to get this prediction partially correct still shows how lazy they've gotten with this aspect of the game).

Haven't had time to play the last week or so and finally sat down for a couple races last night! First attempt was to try Race B... another reverse track? Tried for a lap or two but I just can't get into these reverse abortions so on to race A... Ran 3 laps to qualify and got a 1.53, yeah I have to get that lower but wanted to race... Was able to get two races in before I was summoned to do something else but was able to win both races with clean bonus! Was nice to play again even if it was only for 45 minutes.

Nice that you had the 45 minutes. I have none for so far this week. I told my lady to hang on this weekend because I need to drive a super formula car and a Ferrari this weekend. For the reverse tracks the same for me... somehow I can’t get the hang on some of them. Will see how it will plan out for race B tomorrow tho.

HA! I predicted we'd have Fuji in Race C again, though I got the car selection wrong (I thought it would be the Toyota version of the Super Formula). I'm both impressed at my prediction (even if it was only half right), and saddened by how monotonous and frankly lazy this game has become in what was supposed to be its main "party piece."

Let me guess, in two weeks, autopolis short, dragon trail and nurb GP ?

N200 / ONE MAKE | Car from Garage. Stratos? Oh the liveries. :D

Speaking of which, seen this? Homage to the Stratos built by Manifattura Automobili Torino (MAT).

Got my time on a down to 52.538 with an optimal of .332 i did three laps at the end of my hot lap session where i somehow was .2xx ahead out of the first turn only to lose it all through the esses cuse i am com8ng in to fast... lol

Time for work, why, WHY!!! i always hit a groove right before i have to leave

To be fair we have a layout I don't think we've EVER seen as a weekly race and Catalunya that is often asked for. Race C is a little odd and I'm sure the prediction about the Stratos are correct. It doesn't sound like it's for me but I'll give it a go.

That said if Race A IS the Scirocco that will be a bit disappointing, but let's hold back on judgement until we know.

For me this is a step in the right direction by PD.

Yeah, that Gr.4 Scirocco definitely sucks. There are 134 street cars in the game. Race A should always be for street cars.
At least it's the West layout, so we know it's not the same old Scirocco + Maggiore Center combo again. It could actually be a different Gr.4 car this time. Catalunya I've literally only driven to gold the circuit experience so far, it's a new one. Endurance with street cars at Fuji doesn't sound too interesting. Let's see if I have time though; exams are coming up again and I barely had any time this week. My Q time for B is still 1:59

Does anyone have problems driving with Brazilian players?
Like just today before work, I decide to run one daily race, the first one in Dragon's Trail to be more specific.
I only get in with 5 minutes to qualify so I have enough time to run one and a half lap.
I end up being second to last.
Just before that I check the list of my rivals.
Good, mostly Americans, except ugh, one Brazilian.
So, start of the very short race.
It's only 4 laps, so I start my way in, and already in the first lap, one dude has gone off track.
I pick up one position, and another one, just as another dude loses control from one turn.
I started 9th and I was up to 5th already in like 2 laps.
Then, out of nowhere, this dude starts picking up speed and gets close to me, but can't pass me.
I fight this dude for the last two laps and he can't pass me.
Till the last corner to the straight and checkered flag.
Just in the last lap, I proceed to turn from the inside, so not to let him pass me from there.
Then just as I am taking the final turn, he bumps me from the inside, and I go off track a bit, and he passes me.
He gets 1 second penalty on his lap time but no slowdown penalty! 🤬
To top it off, it was the Brazilian dude!

I got a race in. No TCS is no go for me in this car, spinning out in 3rd, guess I'm stuck with the steering lock.

Races still aren't much better, big mess at the start. Start on the inside and you likely end up with a penalty from a bouncer. Start on the outside, collect a bunch of SR Downs while holding a nice wide line giving everyone room and be lucky to get to stay on the road. At this time match making is crap though, I'm starting 13th in between D/S drivers that get a free pass against my B/S status. Got to lower my DR further to get fair treatment by the penalty system.... No wonder I see so many new accounts. Changing one letter in your psn name, too obvious!

Oh well, bumped off, climb back up, bumped off again, repeat.

Players with a shiftter will have a huge advantage for daily C next week if they dont giive us the option trans by default

Oh and one more thing.
I don't know if they completely disabled H-patter shifters now because I couldn't use it at all in the 1st daily with the Ferrari in Dragon's Trail.
Like even pressing the clutch before race.
Nothing, no player input with the clutch and shifter.
I even went cockpit view to see if the car had paddle shifters, but no, the driver did the shifter animation.

No because you can't use the Shifter/Clutch it in Sport mode now, well if the update notes tell the truth and they didn't mess it up. Don't have one myself to know for certain.

Race C - Fuji International Speedway - 9 Laps - N200 One Make
That'll be the GT86 then, for the umpteenth time.

Does anyone have problems driving with Brazilian players?
Not any more so than players from other countries in the Americas. Or any particular country in the EMEA region.

In fact, some of the most respectful people I've raced with were Brazilian.
And none of the worst ones I've raced with were Brazilian.

Just to confirm, you can't.
I tried doing the race with the Ferrari in Dragon's Trail and clutch+Hpattern shifter didn't work.

LM West is one of my favourite tracks, too bad it’s in reverse though. Oh well, at least they are trying a little to mix it up. :)

Isn't the Dino an N200 car? I've always loved that car, so I hope we get to race it. I'll have to learn Catalunya again, though I used to know it from MotoGP. I'll see if I can get a couple of hours in tonight. Maybe my timing is back. First thing I thought of when I started driving the SF car was"no wonder F1 is a young man's sport. I'm not old, but I did watch the first moon landing live (Thanks for that Dad!) My eyes, and timing aren't what they used to be. Though I can still go fast, I'm not as consistant as I used to be. Degner 1 is a perfect example. I can, and have, gone through there WOT, but would never attempt it in a race. I usually lift for a sec at turn in, and I'm faster through D2 when I do, since I don't mess the apex. I really want to get into the 38's tonight. On Monday (Tuesday?)I was thinking 37's were possible, but that's when I set my 39.8, and had my optimal down to 38.6. I'm not sure if I need to push harder, or relax more. (or drive straight, or get really toasted);)

I feel like they get singled out too much. I've had difficulties racing with some of them, but the same could be said for just about every nationality. I have plenty of Brazilians on my friends list, however all 3 guys on my "punt on sight" list are red, white and blue.

Race A: One-Make Gr. 4 at Maggiore West II (I bet it's the Scirocco again...)
Race B: Gr. 3 at Catalunya
Race C: One-Make N200 at Fuji

Yay, yay and boo.

If it wasn't for Fuji, this would be the most varied in a while. I find the slow class and Fuji combination very dull but if this does turn out to be the Stratos, I'll be inclined to give it a shot at least. I hope it's not the Toyota 86 which was previously used in Race C/Fuji.

I'm awful on Catalunya although I'm happy to see it given it was only used once before. I'll probably practice a little before it's live.

Race A, GR4 and Maggiore does smell like the Scirocco. Please don't make it happen, PD.

I expected another race with the SFs. They're currently out of my league but I hope they'll return in the not too distant future because they're an interesting albeit difficult learning curve that I hope to become better with one day.
