It really is one of the best combos i can remember, in the last few months, other than the moostang at willow. For a race, the lancer at the ring was also quite tasty...

I guess I just missed you. I did a few races, and the BHR guys were formidable, as always. First race, I narrowly beat Joeraiderfan BHR. Second race, Patrick BHR beat me. All the guys on that team are really good. I'm sure I'll be seeing them about 2,000 more times. :lol: Had a good time, though.

Yeah must have. I was on with both of them. Joe showed up for the last two i was on for only. They are fast, and clean from my experience

Sometimes it really bums me out how many good tracks there are, that rarely get used. I know it's been said a thousand times. Sorry. :indiff:

At least we have some freshness next week.

Ever notice how similarly random the daily reward car generator is compared to the random track selections. Like the frequency of 2 cars in a week vs 2 track selections in a month being the same. Makes me think it is random. And they need some kind of filter on it like a music player so it doesn't play the same song back to back.
 
so i ended up getting 1:57.630 with an optimal of 1:57.315 after 5 laps of Race A qualifying and i think im good with that.

hope its cleaner than my Race Bs have been this week. also i think the only race A i have ever done was scrirocco at maggiore a couple weeks ago. and 1 dirty supra at fuji that i never did again.
 
I've really enjoyed race B this week.had some really good, and mainly clean races. DR up a bit and SR back to S from C after last week.
Down a bit today after seeing the one and only person on my punt list. This guy deliberately rammed me into the wall as I was passing him serving a penalty - unghosted and swerved right across the track as I overtook him.for 8th place! My clean streak was well worth losing for a little retribution

Are you in the Oceania region? There is a person who is a serial rammer, abuser and has been banned many times for cheating and hacking.

I seriously don’t know how he gets enjoyment out of GTS when he plays it in this manner.

No, I'm in Europe. Normally quite relaxed about getting hit but this was so blatant it really annoyed me. I did report him but...

I've been running from the back on my GTP account and catching the front guys because often they are in the midfield due to all the bad driving and it doesn't stop with those front guys (some did race fair, most didn't). Today I've seen some of the dirtiest driving I've ever seen, cars are hitting each other over and over on the straights nevermind in the corners. The penalty system is so poor, lower rated drivers especially can just knock cars clean off without a chance of a penalty and I've seen others cut corners that I'd get a second for and they get nothing, it's just unfair. There is now a total lack of respect from some guys, just because the game allows it for some reason, it doesn't make it right and it is ok to get overtaken, you don't have to act like someone has just spat in your face and punch them straight back, especially when it's not even half race distance and it's 10th place you are defending. :banghead:
 
The Race C races makes me feel like a Sven. Except for one race i get bumped to the back of the field and have to Sven it from there.

Exception was my best race were to my surprise was enough players to give me a number 5 on the grid, pretty crazy.

I got a penalty for causing a collision so i did fail back to 10th, still a lot better than 20th.

I will miss race c

That's a fast time dude, good optimum too, that optimum would be top ten actually.
Sucks about driving standards, otherwise staring from the back would be mega fun.
I guess most people are just too short sighted to play the long game and/or Race properly and recognise when to back out.

In terms of starts and staying out of trouble i did 8 races in total, with 8 poles and 7 wins, generally just made good starts to avoid the trouble like mentioned ( except our race lol that was an awful start )
That's enough for me this week I think.

Just tried a race C, still dirty. It also seemed I got stuck with the grip loss bug for over a lap, car would not turn and I had to slow down a lot more than normal. A 1 bar Argentinian was teleporting over the track bumping cars out of the way as well. After he got disconnected my car started driving normal again :confused:

Despite getting bumped off at the start, grip loss during the race, bumped off by a teleporting Argentinian, 9th place. Dinner first, maybe a better race later. Why do people keep using the overtake button to try to keep a faster car behind them. What is the point? These drag races to the next corner are getting old. I've been behind you for a lap, you messed up your corner exit, now you use all your boost to keep one wheel next to my bumper to try to crash me at the next corner... It will be good not to have this dumb button anymore next week.

7 pm race, still chaos. PD needs to rename the overtake button to "push to punt". I went from last to 9th to last to 10th. At least no risk yet at getting back into DR.A, silver lining.

News from the DR 1 end..... I had an "achievement" after my last race today. I have participated in 100 races. That's after having the game 95 days, of which I tried a sport race on 38 different days (I think??). All courtesy Kudosprime.

Personally i always try to avoid close racing at that part of the track...However i dont think either of you are guilty...it was unfortunate that he couldn't maintain his car as he was sort of set up for a decent move

I would've given him room to pass as he was clearly faster IF he had the patience to overtake in a more sensible sector. But I guess last lap nerves got the better of both of us.

Not much you could have done except a tap on the brake to avoid the contact and the penalty but handing him the position in the process. Strange thing to drive in a way to avoid other people's mistakes so you don't get penalised...

I do acknowledge that if I had gone off the track with him, I'd have avoided the penalty. But driving that way to game the system is just...wrong...

Technically you had been passed at this point and had lost the right to the apex...That first contact was a simple racing incident, no one expects you to respond that fast...However at that point you should have braked a little to avoid the secondary contact here...And leave a car width for him to stay on the road...You could have avoided that penalty.

Points taken. He did pass me before reaching the next apex, but by the time we both got there, I was sitting right on the apex, trying to avoid understeer with nowhere to go. Perhaps I could've tapped the brakes to give him more room, but I had my eyes on the apex and by the time I realised he was next to me, it was too late. Lack of peripheral vision, even though I had the close-up map on in the HUD. If we were playing in VR, it might've been a different story, haha!
 
I’m 3/3 so far tonight on Race A, anyone else out there racing tonight? I see DarnSheildGuy is running a new account and has joined BHR.
 
Everytime I work my way back to SR A I am reminded thet S and A rated drivers are the dirtiest in the game... gotta get put back into B quick. The penalty system is seriously flawed and these douchebags take advantage of it
 
Beware of the A+/S driver that falls to the back, those are the most dangerous drivers out there. One race I got one behind me. He wasn't any faster than me yet his A+ status put in his mind that I did not belong in front of him. He crashed me twice in the hairpin. First time he snuck up on my right, couldn't hold his line and rammed me into the grass at the slight right while I gave him more than half the road to work with. Of course no brakes in the grass and I went flying into the sand. No penalty for him.

He crashed later and I got in front of him again. He was tailing me for the last 4 laps, about a second and a bit behind. Then I got slowed by the car in front of me, had to wait for a safe place to pass. The A+ driver lunges into the hairpin, bumps me from behind, hard enough for me to go into the sand at corner exit, not hard enough for him to get a penalty. So broken. A+ apparently only means how to get away with crap.

And then this again, 3 sec penalty.

Maybe it's just this race with the SF19 yet the penalty system is worse than it has ever been.

Luckily it's a long race and I always climb back up later. So now I'm sitting in the pit again to lose DR.A. The penalty system is bad enough in DR.B, no way do I want to drive in DR.A with the added DR discrimination. New record, first lap all in 6th gear to the pit, only 4% fuel used and still gained 4 positions lol.

Tomorrow will tell if the penalty system still somewhat works in GR.3. I did not try race B this week, don't like the track.
