Man, I just can’t keep up in this car in the fast rooms. It’s fun to have some clean racing on the go though, I’m up to 5 in a row now. :)

Good race again. Little early on the pass there @Pigems, drag racing down the straight :)
The penalty zone almost created a big accident, some excitement at least.

Unfortunately my clean streak of 7 was reset again. A slight bump from the Brazilian, nothing intentional, perfectly clean side by side through the corner yet lag and the penalty system don't mix.

On the topic of alt accounts, I'm going to have to use my daughter's. No way on gtplanet an I going to tarnish my rating with the Tokyo races.

I basically have a daily account that I don’t care what happens too and my good account I’m planning to use to FIA races when I some day finally start entering them. :lol:

I was thinking about creating a secondary account especially with next week's races in mind but isn't it a pain to redo everything?

For example, I like to have most cars available in a class to race/qualify with and buying most of them again sounds daunting.

I only buy the cars I plan to use in race, I test cars on my good account that has a bunch. Setting it up isn’t hard, 15/20 min or so. Need a new or alternate email and then set up a new PS account and your away. :)

Good race @Sven Jurgens getting up to 4th in that one. I got stuck behind a McLaren but he let me past as we started the final lap and I finished 10th I think, it was a good race though. 7 clean races in a row so far. :)

Edit: I was right behind you in that last one until this happened, mostly my fault. I thought I could get around him for some reason but it didn’t work out lol. Good race otherwise. :cheers:

Thanks, that was my best finish tonight, and with no penalties lol. I saw what happened with you but couldn’t tell at the time what caused it, I thought you were taken out at first. I was looking forward to finally getting a few laps in with you. Hopefully next race. :cheers:

This was my highlight of that race, a two for one deal with a small defence at the end. :)

It was a slow race. Mr laggy 1:46 couldn't go faster than 1:48 in race, yet kept lagging back and forth making it impossible to get a good run. You probably saw me swerve a couple times when his car literally stalled then teleported back forward.

It's the same driver that was holding me up the race before and caused a big mess holding up a bunch of cars earlier in this race. If you qualify 1:46, don't drive 1:48 laps! My connection briefly dropped to 3 bars, his was 3 bars, 3+3 = boom.

He left straight away, couldn't explain my punt. I got the clean race bonus for the race. Good race otherwise. Still waiting for @Pigems to pass me :) Fun racing!!!

Starting 6th next all of a sudden (11th before). No @Pigems. Done for the night? I can do 1 more after this one.

Bah DR.A sucks. The WRX in front of me loses control, spins out, takes me out with him and I get a 5 sec penalty. I drop from 6th to 11th in the penalty zone. I did make it back up to 8th and passed the WRX in the final lap, some justice. -6 SR for that incident. One more then.

7th place start for my last race. Putput is on pole, I haven't seen him around in a while. 1:45 qualy, almost a second ahead of nr 2, I guess he has won already.
Yep, he did with an 11 sec lead. I made it to 4th and managed to stay there during a bumper to bumper close race to the finish. Clean race bonus, only +3 SR somehow, to 96. I don't remember seeing any SR Downs during the race. I did get bumped off the track once by a penalty zone recovery. (Nobody seems to know how to brake for the corner after getting slowed down...) Oh well, back at 99 tomorrow!

Great evening of races, GT Sport at its best.

So as the week comes to a close, I spent most of it on Race B with a few As between. I did some QLs on Race C but being unable to break 2.08 :O I decided to not race and it's Fuji which I've grown tried of.

I instead focused on Race B and got my QT down to 1.46:4 in the Ford GT although over the last few days, I switched to the R8. I found it more stable compared to when I last raced it at Interlagos. I'm not sure if it's down to physics, tyres or update changes but when I last used it, it felt overly twitchy and equivalent to pleasing a high maintenance female all the time.

The race that stood out was my podium finish in a lobby with a mix of DR Bs and As. I started P4/16 and while approaching Repsol on L1 after a steady start, I was able to pass P3 cleanly. I was very fortunate along TV3 where P4 and P5 were in a cat fight and managed to take each other out while hitting another driver off in the process (poor guy). I was around half a second away. Trying to forget the madness that happened behind, I was able to stay in P3 up until the last lap where I got cleanly passed by P4 at La Caixa. A bizarre end happened at the finish line where P2 lost control and spun out right before the finish line which resulted in me finishing P3.

I don't track numbers for DR/SR (sometimes I'll look at the DR bar every so often) but after the race, I reached DR A. I thought I'd be forever DR B so this made me really happy. No idea how long I'll be able to keep it or whether I'll fall back since I feel I excel at some tracks while not being that great at others which likely applies to most people. At least by reaching it, it's personally a huge achievement for me.

I miss the times where I could come on here and check what the weekly races are. Now, nobody posts them anymore... :indiff:

Btw, Kudosprime or any other GT daily race site just updates them too late for me. So please dont jut post link to them guys.

I am very curious about the Cayman GT4 tho. Have you drove that car yet even if it's an MR car?

Edit: ABout the Cayman, no. I started a new game today. Last car I'll try is the 650S(as I was gifted it in Circuit Experiemce). Before I started new, I did Time Trials in the RC F, M4 and 650S. Only 1 Lap form the jump. All three did 1:21.xxx. RC F was fastest and 650S was slowest.

The last race with the RCZ, that 650S was too slow. I stayed behind it all race. It went wide at the start of last lap and I decided to pass it.

Honestly, after the first two races, players have been more courteous. Side contact is instant 5 seconds. If a player can be patient, clean pass can be made. From what I've seen, the 86 looks rock solid and fast in the corners.

Just went 0.002 seconds quicker than my time in the Scirocco. :lol:
