If you are 1:16 the suspension isn’t even working yet. It’ll be like ice then turbo kicks in game over.
Props to guys above going low.
Seems some here had scuba gear ready for race c!
Motor is like a pipey 2 stroke dirt bike but torque is there also.
I think I left this morning at 13.7 and I was just scratching the surface.
I don’t buy this user complaining about grip. Before that was proved untrue and it’s untrue here.
You gotta go fast enough and use proper inputs to get the car working on c.
I wish I could be playing it right now.
I only just started to get a handle on it and had to go...

Ok, well you can probably tell me where to find the missing 5sec?? If I go any faster, there is not enough track to use. No front grip.
Car just understeer out of corner.
I have strugled with this on/off grip like months now. Last week was quite ok, this week thou, very slippery. And nothing was proved wrong, never.

So, I guess starting position at race A is gonna be totally irrelevant with the slipstream set at strong.
I'm glad I only did a Q time with one of my accounts. I think I'll leave it that way and race from the back.
Starting up front may be a disadvantage.

@Sven Jurgens, you would probably get lots of wins there, if the slow speed doesn't drive you crazy.

I had two thirds this morning in race A when starting at the back on my second account.

SR down though as one race was like bumper cars.

Wins from the back a possibility if you can avoid penalties.

I had set a qually time on my main account.

Sorry for venting, but I was really looking forward to Brand's hatch. Just not with this nightmare car.
When I turned my PS4 on, this morning and saw that the car for C was the F1500, I immediately thought about how rough the GT League race is where you have to use the same car/track combo. :scared:
It probably took me 5 or 6 tries to win against the AI cars because the thing is just so hard to handle.

I watched quick but you can make t1 4th
At end of uphill run you slow waaaay too much at the right hander
That’s a fast turn you go down one right back on throttle you are braking too much there.
Also the left hander past the twisties onto that straight you are braking hard to apex.
You are hurting your front grip so much like that.
It’s go fast brake late and hard and back on throttle while the suspension is loaded.
Also you aren’t using the whole track.

Race A...Wouldnt call it "race" more of happy "trail follow". Go Kart goes faster. But easy to gain scoring system.
Race C... The car jerk u out of direction when apply gas pedal.
Those two Race total a joke and boring. Dosent motivate me at all. Dont bother of saying inexperience driver. My score rating is close to A+ DR and S DS. I laid off for week.

When I feel this strange, can I go through this again
(Or am I just Copen?)

I may have to check out the F1500 daily at least. I want to see a W08 daily but this will do.

I have proof now, that my tools are to blame!!! My first F1500 had leveled to max 3/3 for power and weight. Bought a new one, so not tuned in anyway.
Got my time to 1:12.9 after less than ten laps. SO THERE IS A BUG IN THE GAME!!!!
I have added screen captures from both of my F1500 and you can see the difference in the specs!
Un modified F1500 accelerates and grips x10 times better with BOP on.

So far I’ve tried the AMG, GTR, McLaren GTR, Vette, Viper and Porsche at RBB. I don’t know which I like best, Ford GT and R8 are up next, what else is good for this track? This is the best lap so far, the Porsche got it, I was surprised there.

For some reason you seem consumed with desire to convince people there is problem with this game.
There was another thread where many players told you about aero cars and needing to go faster to get more grip.
Anyways sub 13. Didn’t watch the lap tho, but good job.
Maybe you took some of my tough love to heart.
Anyways cheers

My first f1500 weights 200 kg more.
Just see the first 10sec from that video. There is screen captures.
For some reason, game wont reset the power and weight values.
And my car weight was left to 745kg.
So nothing to do with your tough love. Butt thanks anyway

Tried a Race B. QT 1:32.166 got me near the back. Ran at the back very carefully to avoid contact. But got revenge bumped into the dirt on lap 5 overtaking the only car I passed which i didn't even want to.

Did some Q’s on for race B today just had 1 hour to play so no racing... But man what do I like the Red Bull Ring! Best time so far 1.29.4. If you lose a second of momentum after T3 you mess up your whole lap. Atm especially T4 needs some polishing for me. Mid 1.28 needs to be possible...👍

I’m Copen alright with Tokyo, 2:58.899 :)

Great lap, dude! 👍 Mondays are always tough for me because I don't have much time to do laps before going to work. Then when I get to work, all there is to do is screw around on the internet and see people like you having fun. :(

I'm gonna try to join you in the 58s, at some point this week. This morning, I had way too much coffee to lay down a smooth lap. I don't know how you do it with all that Red Bull in your system. I'm way faster on alcohol than caffeine.

Here's a rundown of what happened:

I improved my F1500 Q time to 1:10.170, which was good enough for #4 in EMEA at the time (knocked down to 8th now). That put me on pole for the 2200 and 2230 races. The lobbies were pretty stacked, no S drivers but nobody under A either. First race, I lost the lead at the start and binned it coming out of turn 3, ending up dead last  I then passed the guy who had started third and presumably made the same mistake. We drove through the field to recover to 7th and 8th.

The second race was streamed by Kie25 :) He started P2 and jumped me off the line (I need to work on that ), while I got caught in turn 1 carnage and lost two more positions. The guy behind me decided to go for the lunge of the millennium and punted P3 into another universe, letting me through to P3. Meanwhile, P2 picked up a 5 second penalty after the dust settled. Once he was forced to serve it, I got a ticket into second place, which I held onto in an otherwise quiet race while Kie ran away with the W.

I must have gotten a pretty good haul from the second race, as my DR rose to 48228! Getting closer and closer to A+, it's just two good races away! :dopey:

For race B Gr.3/RBR, I THINK what I'm seeing by trying driving with TCS 2 and 0 is that with TCS 0, if I don't mess it up, the car gains several 1/10ths over my TCS 2 ghost on the exit from turn 1, even without feeling that I'm driving it any better. But I'm not consistent enough yet to be sure about this. Is it the general wisdom that TCS is that much slower accelerating out of corners? Kie25 on YouTube says you flat out cannot use TCS in GT Sport because it's too slow.

I think this might be why my best leaderboard performances so far were races A and B last week where it was no problem to drive with TCS 0.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks man, I tend to get along pretty well with these slow poke momentum combos. :)

Thanks man, you can definitely do it. There a couple of strategic shifts(shift at 7,500rpm I think it was), but mainly it’s the tight S section in the middle and then the final corner, if you can get those you’ve got it.

My brain doesn’t function nearly as well with caffeine, the more the better for some reason.

I actually put on my wife’s Fitbit on out of curiosity today to drive the F1500 for its first few laps thinking my heartbeat would go through the roof while driving, nope, stayed under 90. I would have thought it’d go up when racing for sure. :)

I feel pretty good about the whole track, except for the final turn, where I've only done so-so. I know it sounds funny, but I think I'm gonna need to hit that wall a couple times :banghead: in order to find the limit. :odd:

In the final turn let off at the final brake marker(50 I think?) and just tap the brake a smidge while turning in(the uphill kills the speed for you mainly), then get back on the gas as much as you can until about the point you wanna turn into the 2nd corner, let off again here until you clear the apex and then get back on ASAP. It takes a few tries to get the hang of it but it’s definitely doable.
