I know we're barely into this weeks races but it seems that next weeks races are already posted.

Race A - Tokyo Expressway - Central Inner Loop - N100 Provided Car - 4 laps
Race B - Interlagos - Gr.4 - 4 laps
Race C - Kyoto Driving Park - Yamagiwa+Miyabi II - Gr.3 - 8 laps

At least Interlagos is group 4, and race C is different. This with the selection of N300 cars in Race A it does feel that changes are happening slowly. It's almost like the team don't want to change too many variables at once, but I'm pleased things are changing.

Next Week's races are up:

Race A:
Track: Tokyo Expressway - Central Inner Loop, 4 laps
Car: N100 – Provided Car
Tires: Sports Hard

Race B:
Track: Interlagos, 4 laps
Car: Gr.4 – Garage Car

Race C:
Track: KYOTO DRIVING PARK - YAMAGIWA+MIYABI II, 8 laps
Car: Gr.3 – Garage Car
Tires: Racing Hard, Racing Medium
Fuel use: x6
Tire use: x13

KDP Yamagiwa + Miyabi!!!!!!

CSA off? RIP A+ rating  Oh well, I was already in the process of getting faster without it. If only the F1500 hadn’t stopped that process dead in its tracks

Thoughts on next week B&C: Gr.4 Interlagos is a combo I haven’t seen before and I like the track, so 👍 C has two tasty features: Gr.3 endurance and Kyoto! Nice races. Shame I probably won’t have the time to do either of them :guilty:

This week and next week are a golden sign of things to come, like the N300 Japanese 90's Sports Car Challenge race at Suzuka East for Race A and Autopolis Gr.4, plus Interlagos Gr.4 Race B and Kyoto Yamagiwa+Miyabi Gr.3 Race C for next week. Hopefully there is going to be a theme going on for the N100 race next week, probably N100 City Heroes featuring the Suzuki Swift and the Honda Fit perhaps?

I’ve been using the R34 so far, is the R33 better?
I don’t know yet, but I’ve seen someone in Europe use the R33 to get a top 10.
Personally I’m using it because it’s my favourite Skyline.

I'm thinking to go with the old guard of the Godzilla trio, i.e. the R32 for Race A.

Ok I’m gonna test the 32 and 33 now, thanks for the tips fellas.

Edit: I can say the Subaru is not faster though.

Looks like a sucky rainy week here, possibly lots of racing so heres my reference post for later in the week.

A- 1:00.790 (r34, only did 4 laps)
B- 1:58.524 (genesis practice, 6 laps)
C- 1:35.880 (motul, 10-12 laps, i suck bad in sector 3. Usually do daily miles on C race)

I signed with Hyundai for Manufacturers Cup. I've been doing well driving the Genesis', at least in rooms of my skill level. 2 consecutive Q3's. Never finish there but its a start.

I'm not so sure. It may be listed as off, but there is clearly some form of CSA happening in the back ground. I was in the rare opportunity of being able to race early (for me anything before 10:30pm is early). Wasn't sure how I was going to go since I haven't raced in a week Jammed up my thump cutting down a banana tree and it's still very unhappy, but it held together long enough to do some qualifying laps and a race B with the Viper.

If CSA was truly off, I would have been all over the place with the Viper, but I was able to do laps and stay on the track, no spin out, and when the back did step out on the hair pin (T8?) I was able to bring it back under control fairly easily, as though CSA was still on. I qualified P6/15 on a grid with 6xDR/Ds, the rest Cs. three of the Ds and two of the Cs hadn't qualified.

The rce started well enough, but it didn't last long before people started racing like they were still qualifying and just pushing out of the way anything that was on the line they wanted to take. I ended up mowing the lawn at T3 and dropped from P6 to P15 :banghead:. Since there were other DR/Ds I knew I wasn't the slowest driver on the track, but I had a 5s gap to make up to catch P14. My goal was not to finish last .

Head down, bum up and just focus on staying on the track. I slowly started to reel them in, and with two others going off the track, I finished P11 with no penalties. Better than I expected. And hats off to the guy who finished behind me. He was harassing me for the last lap and had a few opportunities to knock me off, but didn't .

SR still 99, DR down another 400ish. My thumb isn't up to another race, so... another day above DR 1 .

The R33 will do at least a 58.2, I had to turn the BB back to 0 from the +2 I had the R34 on though. 33 turns a little better as is so the +2 makes it a little oversteery and slidey, 0 feels good in this car. Now to test the 32. :)

I was wondering how popular CSA was in races, and will it make those who used it less competitive now?
I don’t know how popular it is in general, it does tend to fall off in the faster lobbies though. What I do know is that you have potential to go faster without CSA than with it, and this goes for every aid except ABS. So if you ultimately decide to stop using it, with enough practice you’ll probably be faster, although you’re going to need time to get used to it at first. The difference isn’t always the same, for instance I didn’t notice it in the F1500 (there were CSA users in the top 10).

Now as far as the input device is concerned, when my wheel stopped working I immediately needed SRF in GT6 to drive on the DS3. I would say it’s about the same with SRF’s counterpart in GTS. I think wheel users will find it easier to turn off CSA as they get faster.

I haven't gone through the million of replies since yesterday yet but I did some more practice with my wheel on Race A (am I dreaming? A choice of car and my personal favourite, the GT-R R34. Thank you, PD.)

I got a 1:00.1 in my natural choice of the R34. Almost shaved 1.5 seconds off but hit the barrier on the last turn. Potential is there for me I guess, Just a matter of becoming consistent with it.

Also noted the lack of CSA which is interesting. It levels the playing field more, I suppose.

Hi there,

...so, you drive the Mclaren? ...Nice, it's a car i've never used before in Gr. 4.

I din't race yet today, but do you think the TT'S and Megane's are again the 1st choice? I hope it's not!!!

What's your Q time with the Mclaren?

Just done some Q laps @Autopolis. Without looking @ the Q order, i just took the Veyron and putted in some .55.2. Then, the Lambo, could not match it. Then again the Veyron, result: a .54.9. Then i took the GTR wich resulted in a .54.6.

...Then i had a look @ the leaderbord...Ok, so it's 4C time!

Euhhhhh, ...OK...Practice!!!

Great change dumping ASM and CSA IMHO (see what I did there)

I was never against the aids, but as someone who preferred them off, I have to admit it did taint my opinion of someone's performance with the aids turned on.

I will definitely be checking out Race A and B this week. Maybe Race C, although the last time this combo was in Race C, the crashing into me made my DR plummet.

Hmmm no BoP on Race A next week so I'm assuming it'll be a one make unlike this week.
In terms of Race C I don't think we've had the reverse version of Yamayabi before as a daily.

...That 4C is horrible on the kerbs!!!

I am in shock, i can't believe what i am seeing. Race a all week for sure. Need to figuer out which is my best car though. Probs go r32 if the skylines are the ones to beat

There’s 2 RX7’s on the board right now but I’d say most will be using Skylines this week, much easier to drive.
