There’s 2 RX7’s on the board right now but I’d say most will be using Skylines this week, much easier to drive.

The rx7 is nice but i can't stop drifting it lol tried the subbie out of love but yeah, she is slow. I guess they call em Godzilla for a reason lol

So good to read nice positive comments haha. I kinda agree though. It’ll be race A for me if I go in country this week. I tried the nsx for a run. Kinda like it.
I dunno, maybe it’s just me but last time I tried a Skyline I wasn’t into it. Maybe now that I have gotten a bit better I will give it another go.
I was like 59.1 seems like a good lap, then I look and @Pigems is in the top ten! Good job man.
I think Gt Sport should steal a page from the dirt rally 2 handbook and have, if not a daily race, a daily challenge of some type, maybe one or two hotlap challenges with tiered credit rewards depending on where your time puts you against region. Really cool feature of dr2.
Every day they have a couple different daily single stage rally challenge.

Yes it is. It will slide instantly when driving over a kerb. So I am trying to avoid them on low speed only.

...So you are trying to avoid it with the Alfa, ...Good luck because it's so sensitive on it.

I think i'm gonna let that 4C a side and try a lot of other cars. 4 One or another reason, i just can't drive it quick. I'm now a half an hour with it and i can't get under the .55's.

...I see it's the Meta 4 this race but i will be an anarchist and try with other cars. Grtz

Woow, just matched my .54.6 with the RCZ!

Woohoow, a .54.2 with the Mustang!

For as far that i can see, whitout using the 4C, the NISMO GTR stands out for it. In Qualy pace, i keep on doing mid .54's.

Thanks man, The Skylines are definitely where it’s at. R32 for the outright lead now! 57.815 BB+3 :D

If anyone is bored and wants to see how to lose SR check out these from just one half of a race last week.

Just look at that lag.:banghead:

I was not happy at this point.

Not the best of moves on the Italian I'll admit, my fault for the contact there but the rest was just silly.

Still getting hit, worked out better this time though.

This also happened and clearly annoyed the German driver, as seen in the other videos but surely it's just a racing incident. The game didn't even give me a penalty and it probably normally would, as he went off after the contact.

What is everyone's opinion?

Why so? I get that Race C is a recently seen repeat but B is new and A offers a variety of N300 cars. If they're just not to your taste then fair enough I suppose but they look fun to me!

I read kudos wrong, it's next week's that stink. All are rubbish ... again.

The game didn't recognize your behavior as a penalty because it doesn't care about barge passing. It's seems like a borderline barge pass but it looks like you would have been able to leave him space on the outside on the exit if he wouldn't have turned in on you near the corner. I don't get what he was doing. It was pretty obvious that you had a run on him and were making the move.

I'm on the fence with Race B. Usually I steer clear of Gr.4 Sport Mode races because they are still hilariously unbalanced, but since I have a day off on Wednesday, and it's a relatively new track, I might just put some practice in with either the Cayman GT4 or 4C Gr.4 tonight and tomorrow night. But first, I gotta have a rare crack at Race A. A dedicated online race for original GT stalwarts? Yes please.

Congrats @Pigems . Way to show them all! I hope you can hold for a while.
I haven't checked the races yet this week. Didn't do a lot last week, but did some races at RBR over the weekend. Had a couple of wins on my alt account after accidentaly qualifying again. I did get to 4th in one race, from 16th. Best I did with Rexracer was a 2nd, but it may have been my best race ever. Fast, no major mistakes, and I started either 6th or 9th, with the front guys a second faster in Q. Big battle for second and third, first ran away from us. Close racing, many passes, a bit of incedental bumping, and pressure the whole race. My overall time was 7:39. Yeah, that was a good one.

The penalty system is very particular then because in another race I pulled this move, only cleaner, I was completely passed and had zero understeer but an opponent decided not to brake and went on the outside of me just enough to then turn in on the back of my car and go off and that was a penalty to me.

Basically the sort of thing that happens when you don't qualify and race from the back and are faster than most of the field more often than not. There are some exceptions of course. ;)

Umm, not really sure that the M/T is necessary at race A, this week (depending on the car, I guess). I did a few laps before work, this morning. All I used was the automatic, and I'm currently within 0.3 of the fastest man in America, @Pigems. :odd:

Pigems, if you get a chance, can you do a transmission comparison, to see if there's any time difference (R32). I'm at work for the next 10-11 hours.

I can’t believe it’s still there, I didn’t expect it to last 15 minutes.

I sure can, get right back to you on that one.

Edit: Auto is good to go, it’s in the right gears in the right places. Only difference is that it up shifts to 4th a smidge early on the straight and downshifts to 3rd a little early while braking for T1, neither are deal breakers by any means though. Someone driving auto should be able to set a very good time on this combo. 👍

Hmm, Autopolis is still boring. Easy to get clean races, but boring. I tried the Huracan and the 4C and I'm only doing 1:56 laps in the race. GR.4 is just not very exciting to push to get better, especially not on a slow featureless track. Instead I might take the F1500 for a spin in VR on N24. One more B race first.

Looking for a challenge? Try driving the NSX at Suzuka. I swear it feels like a full-on drift car.

Got my internet back and so hopped to set a lap. It was really tough to pick the car but in the end my first love was on the Subaru so i picked that!
2 laps and set up a 1:00.293. Happy since i did it by drifting a bit on T1 and using AT.

There are at least 4 different cars in Top 10 Stars EU but R34 is the most used one.

It's with a slightly heavy heart I agree about Race B. Something isn't working for me with Gr.4 around Autopolis but will give it a few more tries. I don't massively enjoy driving the 4C either which doesn't help.

Race A on the other hand is providing infinitely more fun than I had anticipated!

Thanks, man. Sounds like the transmission isn't really gonna matter. I would've spent all day at work wondering about that.
It's good news, because I've screwed myself in races quite a few times, by accidentally downshifting one too many gears. :banghead:

* Also, I see that the A race for next week, says N100/Specially Provided Car, but like this week's A race, it does not say One-Make. :D So, if this is gonna be the new direction for A races, I'd like to say good job to PD. Thank you. 👍

I'm not so sure. It may be listed as off, but there is clearly some form of CSA happening in the back ground.

I think you might be onto something. I tested a few of the cars (Nissan Xanavi and Autech) I found problematic without CSA and was fine with no spinouts. If anything, it felt more stable than with CSA on.

Anyone else who previously used CSA feel the same way?

Is CSA turned off for all 3 races?
