I accidentally pushed somebody wide onto the grass during the second to last corner on lap3 for Race A and the guy was still catching me, he overtook me on lap 4 and I managed regain the lead on lap 5 and win.

It’s buggy as hell, it’s like there’s some hacked players with rockets attached, they fly all over the place and come off the circuit, then magically get transported in front of everybody, wtf.
It seems as if there’s too much lag for any given player, it just decides to randomly replace them anywhere on the track, you hit them like your being test braked and loose all your DR

On my last race at Willow Springs, I had a guy go off the track 3 times. And every single time, as I passed him, he was put right back on the track in front of me. It was very weird.

Didn't we try GR3 Lambos at Horse Thief Mile on July 4th when you were doing the random generator?
 
I raced so bad night before last in the Jag that I got 3 dubs today. (After I switched to the TT of course) The other night I just couldn't keep it on the track :banghead:

Edit: quick question for you guys. In KP beside my wins column there's an asterisk with a win number 1 less than mine. What's that all about?

When I first tried the kart, I thought there was no way it was going to be one for farming K' Speed Score, but now I'm down to 55.899, so it's looking great for my speed score! Tried a few races, but the driving standard was absolute garbage with some well rehearsed "touch and carefully drive off the track" practitioners as well as people who seemed to feel that "leaving them space on the inside" means you drive right around the very outer perimeter of the track, leaving them about 90% of the track width to wallow about in.

Edit: 55.737 now on another account, 29th in EMEA! I think there must not be that many people who have worked out the "knack" of how to drive it.

The touch carefully and push people get bad results if they try that on me. Talking about the shove the car in front deep and take inside move. That gets a rage response from me every time.
I share videos with friends of how to end that nonsense.
They get the same as the “I am lining up your inside rear quarter panel in brake zone” people.
Every time I see people doing it and I know it, they better get away or their race is over.
Study assetto ai for means to deal with dirt.
I wanted to race but haven’t had time to play. Limited time so far this week, but a race has my name on it.

When you click on the ? at the bottom, this comes up -

The discrepancie reason is uncertain, but if you erased or lost your saved game, that number is likely excludes races prior to the deletion or incident. If you played the demo, it may not include the races done during the demo period.
 
At what I think was my 5th attempt, I got a race A where I got through the first couple of corners without being punted off the track. Won by 9.3 seconds. Gained 500 DR. It's just not worth it when 4 times out of 5 you end up in a melee. The race before, where I got punted down to 10th early in lap 1, I could see the mayhem ahead of me, lots of people blatantly ramming each other down the back straight.

is it my imagination, or is there more tyre noise and impacts sound more violent since the update?

Tyre squeal is a lot louder now, I thought ABS was off when I braked for T1 in my first race yesterday. Not sure what the other banging is, the Audi R18 sounded like a bin being dragged down a flight of stairs.

Any tips for a good time? I feel as if touching the throttle mid-corner to make it rotate quicker is a good strategy but I still seem to be struggling with consistency.

I'm not sitting on a scorching time, but the line and hitting every apex are super important in the kart; obviously try and get the power down wherever you can, but making sure you clip those kerbs will save you a lot of time.

@Milouse Will the new Daily TT’s results count towards a persons K Speed score now? They are world results and not regional now, so maybe a new K Score solely based on those results instead will be needed now, a World K Speed Score? Also, will there be leaderboards on KP for the new TT’s? TYVM! :cheers:

I'm yet to check that in the game, but I didn't find the leaderboards online.
Maybe PD will make it's own ranking score ;)

There is a full world leaderboard in game, I was more just curious if those results would count towards a persons K Speed score or not, thanks for the info! :cheers:

Went from 4th to 2nd in race C with fastest lap only for after the race some clumsy idiot (who I was obviously faster than) I had a battle with accuse me of dirty driving after the race.:grumpy::dunce: beat him in the race anyway so yay?
Edit: They also called me a gimp :lol::lol:

The optimal time is a right b*tch. When you think you've got a good time that you struggle to actually get near again but somehow your supposedly able to go half a second quicker!? Yeah, right!

I'm still on a 18.513 for Willow from Monday. The closest I've got to that was tonight between races where I managed a 18.563... But apparently there's a 17.9xx there somewhere.

It wont happen, instead I do have my sights set on @Leftcurl 's 18.4xx ;)

I am loving the F-Type this week. But maybe it's time to break my own 'settle for one car' rule and try something TT shaped...

haha... go for it mate. I've been trying all sorts of cars on that track, but i can't see me trying a race (well maybe on a/c #2). I was a full 1 second up last night until inevitably i binned it on the last turn :crazy:
 
Started with some racing today, I'll jump back in that 930 before the morning is out though, i know it.... lol

First race i though i would try the lambo. Practice laps were ok, i was holding my average pace as i have in just about any car i try here it seems. The race was bad though, felt like i was on ice, fell all the way to the back.....

Next race went back to the 86. Pushed off the hill on lap 1 and fall waaaay back into last. Ran some decent laps after that, but i was alone so i didn't matter.

If the next one is bad again i am headed to the ring lol

Saw sven in both first two races, doin his thing from the back....

The next race was going great untill lap 4. Still in the 86, it turned itself into a drift car on the way up the hill. I almost saved it, but at least i didn't get a penelty for hitting the inside wall. Gonna run some laps to see if i can get the feel and then maybe try a few more races. Maybe i need more coffee, or more weed, i don't know, just not running good this morning for some reason....

This game gives you some of the most exotic cars and some of the best race tracks in the world. Having said that, I am absolutely Loving the 125cc Go-Kart around Tsukuba, which is a track with essentially just 3 corners in a go-kart. Brilliant, clean and close races last night. Battles for the lead involving 3 or 4 different people. A few different racing lines mean that overtakes are possible without contact.
 
So i was just trying to get my flow back for today and i accidentally did this....

Aaaaaaaaarrgle! This week is doing my head in! I started on a high with my P3 with the Kart on a grid of my peers. Then I did a Race C stuck way down the bottom on a grid of mostly DR/Bs. I overdid the short shifting, lost a lot of time and finished way down the order. Points lost. All the ones I gained from the Kart race, and then some. Then I had a crack at Big Willow, expecting to do well there. Started mid field, got knocked off and finished dead last for the first time in a long time. The only reason for finishing the race was to keep my SR in tact. Today I discovered I had dropped to DR 1 .. so at the bottom ... again :banghead:. That was with the Corvette. I had another spin of the wheel tonight, Did a better qualifying time with the M4, which had me starting ... P9/15. Like my Race C, match fixing screwed me over again.. 4 DR/Ds, a single A, couple of Cs and the rest of the grid was full of BS :rolleyes:.

Race itself was ok. The M4 is a lot easier to keep on the track than the 'vette. I did T-bone an '86 recovering from a lot of fishtailing. 2.5s penalty and an orange SR down. Only lost 2 positions from that, managed to claw my way up to P8, and P7 bottled the final corner. P7 for me. No change to SR, DR went up 566. Another day above Dr1... apparently :odd:.
 
Well, tonight could be the night it happens, the wife works until 11pm tonight so I’ve got all evening to race, and I only need 4K to hit the magical 50k now. I’ve lost my edge at Willow now though, everyone is catching up and passing me Q time wise, started 5th in both of last nights races, so I’ll probably get worse starts tonight if I can’t improve my time. I’m debating on trying one of the other two possibly?
