Also, general question. Is the 4C a Q car only at Monotonous or is it good for racing too? I think I’m gonna do some races tonight.

They suck pretty bad in traffic. Too light to really fight. Breathe next to one and you'll blow it off track for a 5sec penalty...

What's your DR? Will look for you in game.

Just did race C with the R8. No quali, started 19th. Got up to 13th by saving fuel and tires for the first 7 to 8 laps and staying away from fights. I had enough juice to defend my position strongly in the last laps. I think I even underused my tires.

For what its worth...

Turn off TC. In the first sector when braking into the first right at the top of the hill you can change down the last gear closer to the apex to keep some more speed into the corner. Dont go into 1st through the first right hander in the last sector as thats easy 2nd.

2 tries at Suzuka today. Both super fun and intense. Saw a few GT planet people out there.

QT 1:04.501 (still last on friends list by .5 ). Started 4th then 6th. Moved up 1 spot in both. Clean but no bonus for the 2nd race. Nice +DR for placing 3rd and 5th.

Seriously though, I did not envy you in pole (but what a time! You're #1 on my friends list now). You were perfect until the end. Unfortunately so were 5 other drivers.

It's possible that I may have been enjoying some beers at the time.

The number one and two cars I get free spots from in gr3 in sport mode are the 911 and the r8. Sometimes they just abruptly shoot sideways off the track, sometimes as they are recovering from their botched exit I pass on the straight...I almost always see the drivers running them no tcs. It’s good for my dr.
Sure they are fast in the right hands, but so is any car pretty much.

I use it all the time gr3. It sucks having an unexpected bump send your car off. Certain situations it’s an absolute race saver, plus once you run with it you learn exactly how it operates and can use that you your advantage imo.
Certain cars have better tcs than others and behave diff on diff settings, like abs default vs weak vs off.
People always seem to tell others to turn it off. It’s no wonder so many people complain in sport mode GR3 races about sr down from out of control cars...

Look for a car that's blue with a yellow cross, like the Swedish flag. Driver name is lazaruskie....

Only think that really sticks out is the last chicane. Middle of the car over the sausage kerb for the left and you can be much more aggressive for the right (your TC1 might help you there!), almost clipping the cone. It doesn't come without risks, getting it wrong will destroy your lap (or even race) but getting it right can definitely cut a couple of tenths off. Worth trying for qualy even if you play safe in the race

Bit of work getting A time down to 1:06.694. I usually hate the little Suzuka but its fun this time. Maybe its my Honda bias. I'll try to improve C tomorrow. Lot of games to play lately

I totally dominated this race. Pole, Fastest Lap and Victory, nobody else finished on the same lap.

Gained 0 DR though.

With same buttons you use to adjust TCS. I have T300RS and use the arrow pad to jump between hud screens (Map, Radar, TCS, Times and BB)
Left right arrows change screen and up/down works inside of that screen - adjusts the values.

If you use pad, check the settings where these functions are mapped.

I have a G29 and it looks like I have to map some different buttons as the rotary dial thingy that should do it is greyed out

Was in a race with @Leftcurl today. Although he was incognito as an "E" rated driver and finished 2nd with the fastest lap.

Called me out before the race "GTPlanet?" Made me realize, I should tone down the snark. Never know who I may "run into" on the race track.

It was nice to see him glide by as I was being rammed and turned around by the usual suspects. he literally was a blur

Aye, it was a good race. These faster guys are bloody tough to pass. Managed to hold my own though, so I'm happy enough.

Yeah, MaxPowered up there in 2nd at the end....Quite a decent little group we've got here, and it's nice we can chat post race about how each race goes......As I mentioned above earlier today, I improved my qualy time by 2 tenths, and just as well as I'd have been starting 13th that last race, and not 8th!!

Tighter than a knat's chuff now!!

Must be slow/low numbers today. Can't complain though. I've been lucky. Everyone that I've raced today has been super cool.

Just watched the replay, and we had a (very) short tussle over lap 3. Tiny bit of contact. But, all good. Definitely down to lag.

May have been able to hold on for 8th, had I not had a bit of a moment through the final chicane, on lap 9.

Yeah, I'm in Argentina, so the connection is a distant one, with a Spanish PSN account from when I used to live there (I think that's why I'm paired in rooms with European racers all the time, which I prefer ), although I'm from London. You're racing a true international racer with me mate lol!

And yes, that final chicane is a pig, a case of trying to be as smooth as possible.

Hi Max! Looked like you were having fun in that Lambo.

The late night races throw more different DR's together to get a full grid which means the races are less balanced, the good thing is that the late night crew seem to be cleaner drivers than the evening mob. I really like the Lambo, it's quick on the straight and great on fuel. The only problem is tyres, it overheats the rears too easily if you're not careful and it feels like you're driving on ice (it might be easier for people on wheels).

We had a nice race last night when you were in the blue Corvette, you had out-qualified me and we were running nose-to-tail for a few laps.

Chat made me lol.

I was feeling confident for that one!
