Anybody else had any issues with rooms crashing this morning? Tried my normal before work race and I got the pit bug and then crashed out before the start. Lost 5 SR so maybe it was just me? First time that has happened to me in a Daily Race in ages.

Also had this happen to me yesterday which made me chuckle. Still not sure if it was deliberate or just a snap of oversteer.

Doesn't look intentional to me. I think they just tried to get back on their line, and didn't look in the mirror/at the radar.

That said, going that far out is a strange line through there. So, I could very well be wrong.

I’m definitely slow, and expect to hit a wall in terms of DR improvement as I get matched with better drivers. Up until this point, my progress has been in no small part due to the mistakes of others.

I suspect that I’m going to have to actually get faster, and rely on my own driving skill more and more, to go higher than B, as better drivers result in less incidents.

Never meant to make anyone else feel bad about their own racing, I’ve just got no one that cares about my racing war stories so I share them here.

Happy racing!

Thanks! I still feel good about driving, unfortunately I rarely get to feel good about winning

But I know what you mean about the war stories, when I posted my first replay on YouTube I got laughed out by my kids.

Edit: I probably put a lot more time into the game than I should. I am married with a lot of children and facing a house move.

Don't worry too much about your pace/DR, guys. Yes, being A/S and 1.5/2% off the top guys does carry a little prestige. Maybe prestige is the wrong word. I'm sure you know what I mean, though. But, the most fun races I ever had were at DR C, and B. Side note, I was DR:B from mid Sept last year, up to about 3 weeks ago. It can take time. As long as you're having fun, don't pay much attention to the A/A+ laptimes.

As you get more track time, you'll find yourself getting faster, without realising it. I wish I could give you pointers but I have no idea where my new found pace has come from

I now think he just got on the accelerator a little bit too much with dirty tyres, but at the time I had spent 3 laps chasing him down for that to happen, so I was a bit riled up :)

Using the SC430 in Race C. Dig the BoP!

I hadn't looked at that when I did my first race in it. Started 4th and spun exit of T1, on lap 3. Has a bit of oversteer. Tumbled down to 17th and worked back up to 11th. Two stop strategy forever!

Edit: Next race. Started 4th again lost a place to a late stopping GT-R, that was slowing me down before it pit. It kept blocking into T1. It would stay on the outside line and then, take the inside line into the braking zone and park up. I lost 2 seconds to the "leaders" when it decided to pit on Lap 7.

Lucked out and won the next one, drunk as hell. Muscle memory!

...That's every day for me! Although, I wouldn't say that I'm drunk, legally for sure, but I'm a HFA. I rarely get sloppy trashed. Nippin' the Tequila between every race. My liver is probably the size of a porterhouse.

It was fun racing Murph yesterday. That was good matchmaking (for me at least). Every race, the top 5 are my friends or known regulars. And that bump was NOT intentional even though it looks classic NASCAR dirty in the replay. That was win #1200.

And I hafta brag about my tag-team partner... when we're together we are pretty much unstoppable.
It's the "Uncle Ten and Uncle Ben Connection".

If you're looking for a nice Wedssport livery . .

Shameless self promotion

Congratulations. 1,200 wins is pretty damn impressive. 👍
I know you didn't mean to hit me. I've probably hit you before, too.

Not much time for GTS this week and away at the weekend.
Just hot lapping in the Trueno for race A and the Audi for race B.

2:04.060 at Fuji. Optimal is 3.7xx. Not a track a like much, but as its owned by Toyota I think its gonna come up more and more.
1:21.914. I can't remember the optimal. Just kept lapping until I broke the 1:22 mark.

I've got Tuesday off next week, so I'm hoping for a batch of weeklies that I can get into.

Do you keep a list of these? Do you have a list of tracks that have been used?
I posted the list of tracks, yesterday.

N800 was used once! May I direct you to @jasguer's data. N500 was used as well.
I knew the list was not complete. It starts 8 months after the game came out.
Last time I tried to go to Jason's site, it wasn't working. I figured he shut it down again. Thank you.

Important is that you're ok but i understand your feeling:cheers:
Thanks fam. Fortunately, we didn't even see a drop of rain lol :dopey:. All good though, even though I got a late start this week, I'm Baaack! :D

For race B, I ran a 1:22.076, gonna try for sub 1:22 later today. Started QT's for race C last night and pulled a 1:39.324 in the GTR, still got a ton of time to be gained there. Just couldn't quite find my rhythm at either track. :(. Oh well, more practice to follow. Good luck everyone hope to see you on the track! :gtpflag:

Yeah it's down again, hence nothing for the new tracks. That's all from before the switch to weeklies. Maybe one day PD will share their own data as it can't be retrieved anymore.

I switched to my Asian account to do some Fuji races from the back, and forgot to change the transmission to manual. :dopey: Wasn't as bad as I expected. Only a couple tenths slower than manual.

In the first race, the A/T almost bit me. Racing from the back, I wasn't able to catch the pole sitter until the very last turn. Watch what happens when the auto trans shifts too soon. It shifts to 5th at 107 mph (172 kph). With manual, I usually do it around 112-113. As soon as that shift happens, he starts gaining on me. Another 100 yards, and he would've had it. Closest finish I've had in a long time. I don't recommend using A/T.

Since I don't know any of those guys, I wasn't sure if I'd get rammed on the final straight, but the driver from Hong Kong, was clean. 👍

Looks like I'll have to do a daily race tonight to get my SR back to 99 before Saturdays FIA. Hopefully race C is forgiving SR wise. I dropped to 91 SR after punting someone who left the pits and went right to the racing line as I was going into T1 @ Maggiore starting a fast lap. And then all the regular SR down from people tapping my rear during the race. I really wish PD would stop giving the SR down to the person getting hit from behind. I've never had anyone brake check me in all the races I've done so I don't see why they punish the person being rear ended.

At the very least, if your car is at full throttle with 0 brakes being applied at the time, it’s pretty hard to brake check someone under those conditions.
