I hate that we only ever seem to see the reverse layout.

I wouldn't be so sure. Reverse Maggiore has been used 5 times total and only thrice since the switch to weekly races. Regular layout has been used 14 times.

I prefer reverse Maggiore. More fast and flowing to me and T1/T2 usually isn't a clown fiesta like the regular layout's but each to their own.

::gulp:: yes, it was 18.8 Supra default , 911, 19.3 no tcs

I hate you. I couldn't get below 2:21 on TCS 2 with any car. But that was on the pad. Maybe I'll get better in the wheel. :p

Fully chromed cars are often a signal of what's to come

I'll remember that as a warning. I presume shiny gold cars are the same way? Hmm...I changed one of my Corvette liveries from boring silver to chrome.

Well I've been right through brand central and I know what my next two daily workout cars are going to be... the only two Gr.2 cars that I didn't have and have just bought. I'm going to give the '08 NSX a run and see how bad it is (or I am ;) :p ).

I got a Gr. 2 NSX last week on the prize wheel, so now I have something else to try out this week.

I couldn't train myself out of it so I un-assigned that control. I'll only consider putting it somewhere else if I ever find a situation where I actually need it.

Same here, I whacked it onto R3 personally after briefly un-assigning it completely.

The change came when someone laid into me post race basically saying "what's your problem?" and I had no idea what he was talking about

@ringkurier I see your PSN is Prinz_von_Bayern. Is this inspired by the Prinz himself who ran dtm and stw in the early/late ninetees?

Yes it is! "Prinz Poldi" - I have seen your Peugeot 406 inspired livery on your Citroén. Very cool - those were the great days of touring car racing!

Looking forward what you would bring to us for the Group 2 races this week

Bloody GT86 and BRZ again!!!! Seriously PD, what the hell? Why do you even bother adding new cars if all we ever get to drive are the same old things constantly?!
And always at Fuji or Suzuka (or, if we're really lucky, BOTH in the same week!). Seriously, what happened to the ovals?! Can we get Blue Moon Bay more than once a year (preferably with something different than a 1-make or GR.3)?? Northern Isle in GR.3 cars would be a nice change as well. Or, and I know this is crazy, but how about GR.1 at somewhere else besides Le Mans?!

Sadly I only got one actual race in at Spa on my B account, kept getting enticed by shorter lobby races at Spa.

It's only natural that I'd get punished for that with this week's lineup. My only motivation for giving Maggiore a shot is because it's on the FIA schedule, but then I realized that I'm doing enough races that I can skip that round if needed.

Looks like my week will be split between FIA practice, and I just fired up GT5 for old times sake.

Love the ovals, but only if they sort out the SR hits for bump drafting and improve ghosting on the non-brake posse. Even the World Tour made oval racing look stupid in this game, which is a shame as there is far more skill and depth to it than people think. My first DR reset was due to an oval race.

Just tried race C with the Gr2 SC430. Started last with no qualifying but was doing okay until tires started to become iffy around lap 4. Didn't know the pit entrance so first effort resulted in a five sec. penalty and being dropped back on track. No biggie, just here to learn and get a feel for this race. Next effort i get it right but the game drops me at the end of the pit lane and does this the next few laps/tries as well. No pit stop for me, just auto-ghosts me at pit exit, what am i missing/ doing wrong ?

P3 :D Judging by the #1 guy's lap, I'll probably be off the leaderboard in a few hours' time, but I'll take my 15 minutes of fame :dopey:

Agree to disagree. The esses are a mess at Maggiorrie II, they are downhill which just butchers their flow.

And Autopolis, cut about 27 corners and it'd be great.
It's a good thing that we can have difference of opinion :)
I agree there is less flow on LM II.
But if you like flow then Autopolis should be your thing, there is such a flow there, what you do in one turn impacts the next 3 or 4.

I guess the positive thing about having a week of garbage races, is that I'll have time to get caught up on some real life stuff that gets pushed down my priority list when the races are good. 👍

No work today for me! I’m done trolling the leaderboard qual. I’m pretty stoked tcs3 helped me into top 30 which will be 330 at weeks end c race haha. Prolly won’t race this week either though.
Need some SUN. Gotta get out a fishing rod for this afternoon.

I'll be damned. It appears I hate that layout so much that it seems like it's always the one we get lol...I stand corrected.

TBH, Clown Fiesta is a fantastic band name.

Good for you, man. 👍

Tried 1 Race A this morning. QT 2:02.076. Started 3rd. Finished 9th. Blue (+1) SR. Lost a small amount of DR.

Started well. Was in top 3-5 until the last lap. Had some contact (+ lag I think) and ended up off track/full reset.

Was away from the PS for about 2 weeks. I'm kind of grateful for the repeat combos to get back into it. :D
