Race C
A bolivian guy is blocking and crush anybody to win positions
A bolivian guy is blocking and crush anybody to win positions
I never wanted to do this, but today I connected my PS4 with my YT-Account to upload a replay. Some guy in a Mégane destroyed my and other peoples race. In lap 2 (shortly before he quit) before he got to serve his penalties for the first time, he had already accumulated 8.5 seconds. My door number was one, and I was happy to finish at least 6th (despite being victim of another accident in lap 4).
This race could've been my teleportation to DR-B. Oh well..
Clearly that person held you and the Huracan responsible for ruining his race and sought revenge.
Not wholly, no - you just need to understand how you gain and lose DR, and how it relates.
In essence, you gain DR from every car you finish ahead of, and lose it to every car you finish behind. However it isn't a set amount, it's proportional to the difference in your DR scores. That means you gain more if you finish ahead of someone whose DR is higher than yours, and lose more if you finish behind someone whose DR is lower than yours.
The door number definitely does indicate your DR rank among the lobby, but it's ranked alphabetically. That means that someone with a DR of 9 will be ranked higher than someone with a DR of 10,000.
Once you get into DR B and above - that's 10,000pt and above - alphabetical sorting becomes irrelevant; everyone has five-figure DRs, so alphabetical and numerical sorting are identical. The door number becomes a cast-iron DR ranking. However, whether you gain or lose DR is still a question of what everyone's score actually is - finishing above your door number is fine, but if you're in an all-B lobby at 27k and all the people who finish in front of you are at 11-12k and all those behind you are at 28k, you're probably going to lose DR; you can't gain much from the 28k drivers, but you will lose a lot to the 11k drivers.
Below DR B, and in mixed fields with drivers below DR B, it becomes an intensely unreliable indicator of anything, because a guy with a DR of 8 or 9 will be driver #1 regardless of any other factor.
Your goal essentially needs to be to finish in the top half of the field (more behind you to gain from, fewer in front of you to lose to), and in DR B or above you'll also want to finish ahead of drivers with a lower door number and not behind drivers with a higher one. In principle you cannot lose DR when you win a race, but there may be an implausible edge case where it might happen (if there's no code to prevent it, which there might be).
Well, I let him room after Haug Hook and even had him pass me back, even though he drove into my line. Then he went off track exiting the Mercedes Arena.Clearly that person held you and the Huracan responsible for ruining his race and sought revenge.
There's no such thing as too many roosMillage Exchange brought out a bright green metallic, so that's my base for tonight with yellow kangaroos ... I think i went overboard with the roos.
Thank you for the recommendation!
Might give it a try, but I don't think I'll race in B this week, people are being too aggressive. Also I'm enjoying Race C a lot more, and don't want to participate in a Supra and GT-R one make race.
How's the Gr. 4 Genesis?

Edit: And the rampage he went on with other cars...
Can you maybe explain how exactly does pitting work? Race C, I was 1s ahead of the guy behind me, we pit on the same lap yet he exits with >3s advantage. I thought he hasn't changed his tires but then I checked the replay and he actually did. Does it matter how fast I press the tire change button?
Truth be told I think he would've passed me anyway later on, he was consistently going 0.2-0.3s faster than me but hey, at least give me a chance to defend.![]()
Fuel fills up at 7 "liters" (percent) per second so you apparently added at least 28% more fuel. Can you maybe explain how exactly does pitting work? Guaranteed 6 ghost cars in front of me in the first lap alone. Problem for me is then I get nervous and spin on lap 2 as all those cars catch me!I think more people at race B should consider using traction control. 💡
I just went from 15th to 7th without having to make a legitimate pass.
So many cars are spinning themselves out on corner exit.![]()

That's also been my experience there. It's the only way I can pass the Supra metas in my Corvette!I think more people at race B should consider using traction control. 💡

I know right? Big boi gains all day in the NSX.I think more people at race B should consider using traction control. 💡

That's not a traction problem. That's lead foot.I think more people at race B should consider using traction control. 💡

Why you would want to try and max out such a nervous car (Supra) in a C rank lobby at a track like this is beyond me. I oversteer the NSX a bit through the first chicane (the left right left after the downhill) frequently but fairly easy to catch. Once the Supras get a sniff of oversteer; sorry mate, back 2 bonfire, git gudThat's not a traction problem. That's lead foot.
Don't expect to trail brake from the minimum baking point every turn like there's no other cars around.![]()
I cannot fathom a 2.04 at the ring, can barely run a 6. All I am getting is chronic, chronic understeer and this is historically my best track.
Just took a look and see my issue, the fastest lap is a SOLID 1sec faster than it was in mid 2018 (last time I ran this race) and i am only 2/10ths quicker. So i am relatively slower.
The Change to a more planted rear end 6 months back has really hurt my relative pace.
