Why the fixation with Hard tyres? Race B, no tyre wear, so why not Mediums or Softs? Race C, why have a pit stop race at all since they don't wear out. Why not let us use Soft or Super Soft, so tactics can be used.

Hard tyres are ****

Even forgetting strategy as it is race B, how about just using Medium as the baseline tyre? It's so much more enjoyable.

I think Sport Mode has been designed as a progression... A->B->C->FIA. At each step additional strategic elements are added in (car choice/garage in B, tires/gas in C, and Damage in FIA). Hard tires are usually locked into A & B to magnify any mistakes made with speed/lines and teach control.

One day I will be able to drive FR & MR cars.

Turn traction control on 2 & get practicing. After some time, you'll get used to the acceleration, then you could try no TC. My limit is Gr. 3 for going without TC. Going to faster cars (Gr. 1/2), I put TC back on.

What's everyone going with in Race B? I like to try out as many different cars for the race as I can; gotta see what they are all capable of. NSX and RSR for sure...next?💡:odd:

Corvette & Ford GT always get run by me. Viper will be run as well, considering the recent buff in BoP. Might try the Mustang since it's close in handling to the Viper.

I was following an RSR while in the RX-Vision. RSR has great corner exit acceleration. I was on it's tail from T1 through the esses(RX-V has nice off-throttle tuck in). From there, every corner exit it was pulling away. I was quicker in the 130R which got me closer to draft after the final turn.

I did a few races as soon as they switched over. Tried the Ford GT, Mustang, and AMG at Suzuka and the AMG/Mustang were quite enjoyable. I usually love the ford gt but it was too twitchy last night. Was probably just me racing high at 4am tho.

I should stop trying to pass around the outside though. Its like Alex Albon simulator. Looks like im making the pass and baaam.

I notched up a nice podium while repairing my SR from the disaster that was Manufacturers. After getting my SR back to 99 via this week's Race C, I decided to do 1 more to clear my daily workout. I started from pole, which was surprising. There were 2 A ranked drivers, but both did not set a lap time, relegating them to 13th and 14th. I held the lead for the entire race and was about to nail a perfect race, until this happened:

My 0.5 second penalty got bumped up to 1 second, and I lost to one of the A drivers by 0.1 seconds.

My loss in a nutshell:

And my face as I congratulated the winner:

Don't get me wrong, hats off to yukio for getting up to 2nd on the road. But losing by one tenth via penalty is a real kick in the teeth. I guess I now know how Bottas felt on Sunday.

Also, brian_noq in 3rd suggested that I post my misery here and said that he enjoyed reading my race reports in FIA. I'm guessing he is a member here, but I don't know who.

Race photos of the Aqours livery I ran by Zuramaru_Kanako:

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to watch an aquarium concert to cope with this complete disappointment. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Can't connected to Fall Guys so went for Race C on alt instead.

In the sole lap of practice I'm surprised how similar the braking point for Toyota is to other normal racecar.

Spun on lap 2 after some cars misjudged the braking and therefore cheering on rx8 racer for the victory.

A nice combo but the matchmaking is utterly horrible, SR S to E has been matched together after midnight lol

Wasn't expecting much from Suzuka this evening, it's a tricky track with little grip & Monday's are a bugger. Tried the Porsche RSR, DBR9 with little success, was about to try my old favourite Lexus but read a post saying the Mustang was handy at the moment around Suzuka due to BoP so went with that. Wonderful stability and holds the line trail braking through a corner with enough in reserve to change line when the inevitable incidents happen. It does lack the initial grunt out a corner which hurts me more than usual as I'm lacking at the hairpin, able to make up for it elsewhere.
Another thing about Suzuka is car re-entry after they've gone of track, got caught up in several of those, you have nowhere to go and end up with SR down at best or plus 4 secs and in the gravel at worst.
Anyway, managed race win number 17 of my career, with fastest lap and clean race, the leader was 4 secs ahead at start of lap 3 but made several mistakes, stayed on his tail for two laps until he made another mistake at the final chichane and beat him to the line by 0.15
Might have to retire for the rest of the week, ha.

1 Race B and 1 Race C today. Went OK.

Started near the front in both and stayed there. Mostly clean driving. Some impatience. But overall pretty smooth.

I think I saw 1 US flag in 2 races. Which is rare. Couldn't even count how many Brazil flags in the 2nd race. Maybe 6. Haven't seen that outside of Interlagos.

Try the R8 and the Pug VGT, the Viper, Aston and Supra should also be pretty good. :)

Yeah remember when I said I’ll try the Ferrari?
As brilliantly as the gr 4 car drives, the gr3 is equally impossible to drive in my hands. Unusable even just for kicks...There’s problems with that cars physics for the way I drive definitely.
Race c is out of the question.

So, the problem with having got my SR back to the 90s at Monza over the weekend is that there aren't enough fast drivers doing race B and I get stuck at the Williams end of top split.

D R Re Set (clap clap clap clap clap)

Yeah. Ran a few (got beat by @sturk0167 once! And saw RPMcMurphy01 trying to run up from the back without a QT… but never in the same race.) and: get hit from behind: -10 SR and don’t bother trying to pass anyone for the remaining lap and a half or risk another 10 or 20 down the first spiral to DR and SR hell. Kind of stinks.
