Only 3 races so far this week. 2 Race B and 1 Race C.

First race B was a bit messy, but my QT was not good enough. Then tried C last night with a decent QT, started 4th, snagged a podium. Worked on Race B QT this morning, still started near the back but finished up 5 spots. Decent races. Clean and fast. No connection issues for me.

Good to see there are people enjoying the ‘ring. I am not one of them.

I tried another 3 races tonight. I am well off the pace, constantly binning it and ending up as a target for every nudger and punter in Asia. I appreciate the track and the challenge it presents, but without spending hours hot lapping to get up to speed it’s just a wreck for me.

I think I might be done with the dailies this week.
I absolutely hated the ring until this combo came up first time and strategy was in it. Pit between laps or fuel save. I always ran fuel save and learned a bit more about smoothing things out and actually learning the track. Also ran the 911s here and pushing the LH time trial as well. All about keeping it smooth and steady on the track and just being prepared for everything else that will happen.

Heck, if I had been smoother in my last race last night I would have pulled off a great 2 for 1 in the karusell last night as the 2 in front of me pushed it hard and both ran wide. I bobbled and slid it a little halfway through and they just held it out there.

I came across another Mustang driver last night at the N24, he moved up about 6 ish places 👍
My DR is rising so the competition is getting tougher. The Ford is hanging in there though, probably me holding it back now, not that the other drivers are better or anything, ha.
Lots of cars are levitating, they must have got the grip hack wrong

Just had a murder of a race on the Americas server in race C. I wasn't exactly driving awesome but 2 beemers really went for it on crazy. 1 blocking everything in sight, the other just sending it everywhere and pushing me off 4 times the first lap. Trying to catch up I drove like 🤬 but had insult added to injury when the terminal blocker just bounced me wide at the hairpin before the karusell and I spun getting it back on track. Forgettable race except for seeing @Qyn and @GOTMAXPOWER in the lobby and seeing max take it 3 wide on the ring section.

Need to tidy up my own driving to handle those lobbies better so I can protect myself and serve if needed instead of getting served all the time.

Well time to go in.
Seeing certain people is why I won’t qualify on C race this week.
I’m enjoying a Sunday drive, trying to only take what’s given...
It’s been a bit tough though, easy to get anxious if you’re held up in traffic with god knows what kind of cretin coming up on your ass...
To heck with it!
Let’s go!

I won a race C with 458 (BB -3 & short shifting at GP area to save tires)
Almost a clean race because I forgot brake before big straight.

LoL

I saw you up there! Good work.
I was...erm...umm...enjoying spending quality time up close and personal with a large group of my South American friends...
Hey, 5 races today for me. Still 99. I’m taking a break though right now...
I saw @RacingGrandpa earlier, but he got caught up in a terrible lap one pile up.
Last two races I’ve picked up a lot of spots before entering the ‘ring. Seems people can’t get sorted out for some reason...
Anyways congrats on the victory!

Agree with you on picking up spots. Aside from my ugly guest appearance in America today I have picked up at least 1 spot each race, usually 3 or more. And I would say I've only made 1 or 2 actual racing passes total.

Right on, man.
I got my first win at that race today.
It was with the Veyron.
I only selected it to piss the FF people off.
Once I was in front, they had no possible way to pass me.

Once you quit once, might as well quit the next. I had to make the life of one American miserable, revenge fun, that's all the game seems good for atm. Races are exceptionally bad during these hours. I have no problem when people make mistakes, yet push me off 3 times when making a clean pass and giving me a penalty, nope, gloves are off, cut up and buried.

Emotions want to have a word, but I'll give it one more day. I'm glad I did not pre-order a PS5 and GT7 is on the probably not list. I might have to switch to Forza as the only other (well supported) controller option. The races may not be better, but this joke has gone on long enough. PD you burned down your game and didn't even bother to put out the ashes. (I guess the emotions did talk )

Well that’s it for me today. I’m out.
First crash of the week lap 1 got rear ended offed spun last.
Kept at it made up nine spots by the end but a GTR tried to shove me off on the final straight so I reacted and stuffed him into the wall up top...Once I start that it’s time to quit for the day.
Once the suns down it seems to turn to UFC not GTS.
That’s at B 99 though. I do have to have some forgiveness because B is what it is.
Nevertheless trying to push me onto the grass on purpose will get you destroyed.
No matter what rank.
That fool ended down 3 spots from where he would have been if he hadn’t decided in his mind to say “screw this bmw, it’s almost the last turn, I’ll just shove him onto the grass, HAHAHA”
Guess what bud the jokes on you, there might be a BS near my name right now, but that’s not what you’re dealing with lmao.
Take a long walk off a short pier.
Anyhow I’m sure I’ll race tomorrow when I can come in fresh...
Have a good night.

This sums up the game for me today. At least I didn't get a penalty this time...

When they open again, I'll have to ask my local store to move GT Sport from the sport section to the dumpster section

What a 🤬:dunce:. If he was smart he lets you past at the second karusell and gets the big run after that. Losers like that need some serious adjusting. :irked:

It was great seeing you in race!
Yes, lap one was rough, I really can't name a single reason, lot's of people where fighting so there might be some history there.
Lap two got off to a rough start too. A Beetle going slow towards Flugplatz made it impossible to get by but at Kottenborn I could get past. Only for him to send me off at Schwedenkreuz when he didn't brake (fitting corner to send the Swede off in).
So back at it and catching him at Adenauer Forst where he spun himself out so I got past when he was ghosted.
Inspite of all this shenanigans I still went up 6 spots. The race after I started p20 and finished p9...

Whoa there, try the Jaguar, My best qualy time is a 56.9 with the RCZ and 57.0 with the Shaguar. It loses VERY little on the straights and you can exit faster onto the long full throttle zones as it turns in a bit better.

It is absolutely an option.
Porsche Cayman is pretty good around there too. Stable, good traction, fairly quick. Got a W after a few tries...

Yeah Race B is tough, jus nowhere to pass but T1 and the layout need absolute commitment through the awkward right hander which leads to a ton of incidents.

Never ceases to amaze me how guys faster than me have zero patience, it is a short lap, line me up for a pass into T1, but no, they try to pass through the esses .... good luck with that.
I've found that if you A) get a good run through the esses and B) can hold a near-side line through T5 and T6, you can get by the guys that go out to the left side of the track with room to spare. Just an observation.

I am kind of enjoying the B race this week. It's a short, quick lap, the kurbs are unforgiving, and being stuck down in D-dungeon I get to deal with the bombers and missiles. Add to it that I'm a contrarian and WON'T drive a TT or RCZ, the skill/luck to win makes it sweeter. Now race C.....I'm ascared of the big mean lap.....

Tried the GT-R, Cayman, Geneis(qualy only), NSX and Alfa Megane. Alfa Megane is by far the quickest and fastest I've used, so far. Not going with the TT One Cup.
B/S alt. A/S room with some usual suspects. Some good. Some iffy. Brakes ain't the best, but top speed, handling and torque, so f are no worries versus the RCZ. Moved up 6 spots from 11th.

All TT room minus on RCZ, Supra, Cayman and 2 4Cs in this next one.

Edit Dagnabbit! Why? WHy?! Why go up my inside at the stadium right-hander.?! Freaking TTs....
6th to 15th. Then, I have to be patient with the 4Cs and Supra battling at the back, so I don't ruin their race.

Made up a few more spots, but dang, man. We're all in tandem. No way to pass there.

Is my lexus cursed or something? Had a decent enough race just now with some SR lost just due to racing incidents so nothing bad. But man, on the tail of a Jag hitting the final straight and they flat out drive away from me. Was 0.5 behind as we started and my better run total the straight got me to about 0.48, then they drove away.

I drive the jag all the time, but dont really remember many times I've been able to do that to anyone else in something similar to the Lexus. Oh well. Still beat them as they and another guy tried to go side by side through the final turns and didnt make it. Glad to be back driving solid laps though.

I know it’s boring to constantly read about the penalty system but how can it possibly be reasonable to have a system where hitting someone who is sideways across the racing line results in a 4 second penalty?

I implore PD; Remove player level as a factor in assigning fault. It makes it impossible for those of us who invest in the game to enjoy it.

If you want to avoid that I suggest running the ring in the Viper. Shift when the bar reaches just beyond the middle.
I run BB2 for rotation and once I am off the GT track I only really brake full twice. (Edit: 3 times)
There's a replay on my GT profile you can watch or better yet look at @Mistah_MCA s guide on you tube.

Have to be honest, they should keep the nurburgring on all the time. Just vary which class runs each week and the race settings.

This week there has been tons of fun. In 3 races so far I've had a 3rd, 8th and 4th. And even got grouped last night against the #1 in the region.
That would really piss off my wife. I'd be on the burg all day and my wife would be nagging me to play her GTA.

Good morning friends,

It’s still dark out here. My crew and I are busy going over the car and reviewing telemetry data from yesterday’s races.
Overall the car has held up well. We changed the fluids, also replaced a couple lightly damaged body panels but nothing major, late in the day the car seemed a touch sluggish around 4500-5000 rpm but we haven’t found a smoking gun...All the key fasteners are torqued, then we will throw some new boots on her...

Overall strategy wise, the plan is to leave all aids enabled, focus on running smooth clean lines and avoiding getting caught up in dangerous battling or revenge which could lead to severe damage to the car.
Late yesterday we had some very very tight dangerous battling with some competitors from the Southern Hemisphere...
I was reprimanded a little for my conduct as I pushed back when pushed a little to hard for my sponsors...
For myself tho, I know this C race won’t be the same without me. I know my friends from the South have missed me, I ve been gone quite a while on sabbatical in Tibet...
I know their races seem empty without me...This tune is dedicated to my friends from South America...

Whoops, gotta run, the crews calling me over to do a shakedown and radio check...

Good luck on track today boys...

Had a surprisingly fun night in Race B, 2 excellent races though one ruined when I copped 3 seconds for touching the side of another car exiting T1. It was a 3 way battle for the lead and the 4 laps before that were nose to tail stuff so technically my fault but man 3 seconds for a touch that didn't really hurt the other car seems harsh.

So dropped my QT to a 56.6 with the delightful (for FF) Sirocco. Stunned more folks don't use this thing, it turns in better than the other FF cars and is a demon under brakes. Because of the turn in it takes the fast, awkward right better than the RCZ or TT.

TBH not sure why the RCZ is so popular. It may be a 10th or so faster but I can turn a 57 flat in the TT, RCZ and the Megane and a 56.6 in the Sirocco so I find it weird the RCZ is so popular.

You can see here how good it is into T1 and through the awkward right....

What the hell was that?

Bad internet. The only time I've seen scenes like that is when my internet has gone down, all the cars just drive straight on and crash, quite a few seconds before you end up getting kicked.

I guess in your case there must have been a temporary problem (like packet loss), that didn't last long enough to kick you from the race, or it was somehow connected to the server issues at that time.:lol:

In any case it's funny.:lol::lol:

:gtplanet::cheers:
