I want to say to all of you who can do the Nurburgring without crashing, I salute you. You have the memory of elephants.
I'll be having much more fun in this game once I get it down.
I'll try to get you a good replay of me using the Veyron as a rolling roadblock for the FFs. 👍I always enjoy watching replays

It takes me FOR EVER to learn any track.
I use the line aids provided by the game under driving options.
I’m still using aids on Nord but getting closer to turning things off.
It’s far far easier for me to use the line cones and markers to learn.
It would take anyone forever imo to just try to figure it out and remember by yourself.
I like modern technology and driving aids.
They help me have more fun.
The great thing is after I’m comfortable enough to go without I seem to end up doing really well because I learned fundamentally the right way around right from the beginning.
At first in this game I tried to do it myself (you know figure it out)
I admit it takes me a looooong time to get to know a track...
With the aids it makes it sooooooooo much faster to find some flow. Jmo
I screwed up the last turn. No question. But doesn't 2.5 seconds seem wildly disproportionate?
I certainly didn't gain an advantage.
Another PD screw up, in my opinion.
The worst part is that the leader messed up the next turn, badly. I was right on his bumper when I reached the penalty zone. 🤬
Seeing how dirty people are now with this iteration of the penalty system is deterring me from Sport Mode
This is why I don’t understand everyone using the RCZ as the meta. It’s so slow out of the corners in-race. No doubt it has good speed in a straight line, but if you can get in front of it in an FR car, it’s very easy to get a lead that means that doesn’t matter. One Race B. All TT & RCZ except me in the 86 and someone else in a Vantage. 14/15, RCZ behind me. Pole is on a 55.9. I'm last in the 56.8. RCZ behind is 57.5. Once the RCZ passes me at T1, I'm stuck behind it. Damn things are so slow out of corners. Moved up to 13th at T1 as the RCZ ran wide and a TT served a penalty.
Last lap, I'm behind the RCZ again. Final turn, it takes the inside. TT on my bumper. I go outside and get squeezed on the blue curb. TT takes the inside line. RCZ blocks a bit, so the TT can't slipstream past to the line. I finish last.
Well 8:08,957 at the Ring.I could be 1 second faster I think, but that's enough for now. I will be back in sport mode when nurburgring is back.

The lobbies full of RCZs and TTs make for very frustrating racing if you get get stuck behind them.
Seeing how dirty people are now with this iteration of the penalty system is deterring me from Sport Mode. I am probably going to wait until the next update to race again and even then there are no guarantees.

I used the Megane once, to try and show other players its speed. Noone used it the following rasces. I even used a GT-R, movd up several positions. Next race, the same pole sitter switched to the GT-R(me in a Scirocco) and I couldn't catch it.The TT, Mebane and scirrocco don't lose much to it on the straights and the jag is a legit rwd option. Everything else gets smoked in a straight line.

Thanks, with Toyota Supra i think it is the best with locked setup. Corvette with Locked setup is no good. I usually race with super soft tires, bop and free setup. See u at the Ring sorry for my englishawesome time. Which car?
I'm using the AMG but I have a feeling the Corvette is faster, but not used to it fully

Probably jinxing myself, but I kind of crushed it on N24 this week (in other words, I didn't mess up).
Thanks for keeping me safe Hyundai. 👍

It takes a lot of time time to learn this track. I have struggled this week but it has been one of the most interesting/rewarding/challenging weeks since I started GT Sport six months ago.
