No, I think once @Groundfish explained the name "snorkel" & why it seemed appropriate, we went with it.
The stupid combo of Race A being the most kms-miles i done on the game. 1221kms yesterday. I made couple good friends and a lowest of an enemy.
This morning i hit 403kms-250.4 miles per hour top speed leading the train. Got the win also.

In Europe we all qualify then drive the whole lap in a single line, not even the cars at the back with nothing to lose pull out until near the end.Europeans aren't very good at racing.![]()
That's the kind of racing I like. Not forcing the pass.In Europe we all qualify then drive the whole lap in a single line, not even the cars at the back with nothing to lose pull out until near the end.
That's fine but on this track it makes it more interesting if you can get a second lane organised. That's the kind of racing I like. Not forcing the pass.

Same lobby as you (chisomz1). Congratulations on the win. Watch out if you run again, a very "talented" French driver has woken up..

What I did was, make my own line, to stay out of carnage. The other reason was to prepare for any opportunity. Cars gaining on me, I moved over, let them by and I fell back in line. Bump drafting slows the person giving the bump and allows those behind, to rapidly pass. Leap frogging, I find, works better to keep things calm. That's fine but on this track it makes it more interesting if you can get a second lane organised.
I never saw it - was it in a thread of it's own or just in one of these big threads like the Daily races? There's also new names being thrown around (like Larini?) and a bunch of other circuits with no corner names...We did that months ago.

I'm A+ and can't hold a line. It's a controller thingYeah i go for it if possible.
Also even the DR A players can't hold the line at turns.
In the European lobbies the whole race usually settles into a single bump draft train so if you pull out of the line you can only rejoin in 12th.What I did was, make my own line, to stay out of carnage. Maybe bump drfating works better in higher ranking rooms.

he was unhappy with getting raced the way he was racing

And Big Banky Boi 2 at Alsace, as I've heard it referred to a couple times in some YouTubers streams. That map was in one of these daily race megathreads. We could likely come up with some other names for other tracks (like Big Banky Boi at Lago Maggiore GP & GP II) & make some track maps for those. The Sardegna road tracks will be no fun to label. There are very few features/landmarks on those layouts.

Is that because we turn right occasionally?Europeans aren't very good at racing.![]()

Spent my friday getting a load of race A in. Bit messy for sure in Asia, but still slightly addictive as well. Felt like I had the right runs if things but was just not capable of getting the wins. Saw @Raptor013 out there as well as some other familiar faces. Plenty of nasty bumping as the same sunny faces were simply side slamming people out of the trains and into the walls quite a bit, but for the most part fairly settled.
Managed to give Raptor a boost towards a win (I think it was me) before I got bounced silly by the pack at finish. And finally managed to call it a night after side slipping my way to a win. A in all a wild but entertaining night.
Now to figure out why people are wrecking on the first main straight for position when there is absolutely no need.
Must say that lag is creating a lot of issues for this race with cars jumping around and bouncing people all over.
“THE SNORKEL” because everyone loves diving there, plus the shape!
Wow I went Supraw and cut down on the q time ended up with a solid podium in 3rd.
Pretty happy, was going to put up a photo of me but rewatched the replay of @NevilleNobody!!!
Dooood. He was in an absolute DOGFIGHT with guys very aggressive in the A99 special room.
He did well to survive much less finish top ten!
Great driving! That loosely gooses vette almost took you out!!!
He had a much more exciting race than I did.
I can’t say I’m not happy about a podium though!
Is it just me or has the pace and refinement in the top rooms really got to a point where guys are seriously good? Only issue is it degenerates to a one make series.
Interesting TCS theory. I feel there is a difference between the TCS on a wheel and a controller, I think it is way stronger on a controller. I absolutely LAY on the gas, like a light switch most times and TC2 is more than enough, i can't do that with a wheel and pedals.
My big issue at seaside is the esses, I scrub time. So even if I get a great entry (slightly pulling away from guy behind) and full gas allllll the way, I am scrubbing a LOT of time through the curves. For example I cannot hang with other beetles through there, they pull away but I am full throttle.
I think that's where I'm going wrong - I tend to tap the steering stick and mash the throttle... #awkwardLOL I do the tap tap tap tap thing! Thought it was just me. Exiting turn 2 I tap all the way or I run wide or get on the gas too late. Tis true tis true.
