Fun runnin with all of you’s guys I had no ill will but there was some bumping. Espescially that Fuji deal, I was trying hard to stay on my yellow line lol but sometimes it was blurry after an FIA followed by a couple brews.
Tried to pull off when appropriate, and I am sorry for any unintentional contact.
You’s guys are cool.

Yeah, I just tried to make an obnoxious looking car. :lol:

I assume there was a lot of door banging and crashing at the second Maggiore race. There is no way I should've gotten out to a 4 1/2 second lead. I suck in Gr.3 cars. :lol:

I did enjoy that last half a lap, when the aliens caught me, and I had front row seats to watch the @Winnie847 & @RZQSPEED battle. 👍
I sat out the 2nd Fuji race and spectated. Once again, it was really awesome to watch the battle between @Mistah_MCA & Winnie. Super fun to watch!

My biggest regret is not being able to show off my Dead Milkmen/Bitchin Camaro livery (P4 yellow). I quit this race on lap 3 or something for fear of being lapped. :lol:

It could be that you had the wrong car type. There's no Camaro Road Car. :lol:

Haha! I laugh at myself any time I attempt Nords. It’s just not a track I’ve spent time on, so naturally I only know the first third of it pretty well then I’m toast. Add that to a car I’ve never driven before and I become a pleb. It’s all good, that’s part of what I enjoy about doing these races on Saturdays, random combos that I normally wouldn’t find myself in by entering dailies or my usual FIA. Good times

You know I don’t drive the n cars much, or only certain ones once in a while, but I really felt like a part of Gran Turismo battling Trone Colby there at Yamagiwa in the fairlady z and also at Maggiore gr3.
When I had good starts at Fuji I knew I was in trouble. I like those cars but haven’t driven that track much.
Great choices on the bonus round, even though I’m toast on Nurb it’s fun. That trueno is a very solid ride!

Great racing last night, it's so nice to be back.

Certainly didn't expect to bag a win in race B but with some very lucky dice rolls, strange happenings and a move to pass @Pigems that I can only describe as "perhaps a touch aggressive" .

Highlight of the night, though, was trying to hold the same man off after inheriting the lead at our first Suzuki Nords race. I love the ring and your pressure kept me humble, but I was just absolutely nailing that lap having not driven it, or anything, much at all this week. Inevitability, you slipstreamed past on the home straight - nothing I could do but be glad I was able to hold you off through nearly the whole lap.

I also actually saved replays for once, so I'll follow up with pics!

It was actually pretty awesome. I hit that jump while I was sliding sideways. :lol:

I think @Pigems posted all the replays. I may have to go back and watch it. He never puts up the good crash photos, though. :odd:

I haven't watched any replays yet but if you guys wanna see a good fight, check the first Nurb GP race and watch mine and @05XR8 's battle. I started in back and somehow made it through the carnage pretty quickly after T1. We had a nice back and forth. I bumped him a few times as I was attempting passes, but nothing serious, and @Pigems ended up catching up to us after recovering from some kind of incident...it got pretty crazy at the end with a 3-way fight to the line. That was a great, close race between us and it was my first time battling hard with an Aussie. Nicely done Spacedustdaddy, you showed some great awareness and defensive driving when it mattered.

I used the Toyota 86. I was either going with that or the 4C. Light, nimble cars do best there because of the long, fast turns and the twisty, banked section. The NSX handles well, but it's a bit heavier without enough of a straight-line speed advantage over the others. Believe it or not, the 4C got a weight reduction in the last update, lol. And the 86 is a little less nimble than the 4C but it's faster in a line. I should have been able to shed off another 1s with a few more laps. I couldn't get T3 and the final turn right.

Good info. Thank you. Still searching for my best car to use there. I've tested all of them, and the results are thus far inconclusive. :banghead:

I know my best bet is to find the one that gets me the best time and focus on practicing with it, but I think the one that got me the best time was a fluke. I can't quite seem to match that lap again. I may just try a few in the race, and see what nets the best results, because there are some I can qualify well with, that I think won't do so well in side by side racing.
