That's because you messed with this:

Quicker way to change text size, if you have a wheel on your mouse, hold Ctrl then move the wheel up or down.

No, on a page transition or refresh for some reason the text does go all weird and get big but the border colors or layouts disappears too. I has nothing to do with messing with the text size.
