i think people using this to win an online race is a little far fetched.
It's an inconvenience, an annoyance.
Exactly the same as grinding, an inconvenience, an annoyance.
And not having all the cars, an inconvenience, an annoyance.
The only thing that got my goat, and still does, is the concept that using up online server resources and inconveniencing your fellow players, however mildly, is fine, a-okay, good times. What?
It flies in the face of the "it's my game, what i do doesn't affect you" argument.
But as i said in the glitch thread, there's no point trying to convince anyone to change their view as people will just resort to arguing about morals and cheating. Neither of which are particularly relevant to my enjoyment of the game.
Perhaps instead of the bickering an alternative that satifies both sides of the divide could be found.

thanks for coming into a thread, ignoring the subject at hand, singling someone out and using their words out of context for a quick jab.
Work in tabloid journalism per chance? :d
the irony of telling someone they are wasting their own time by posting on the internet by posting on the internet is at best ironic.
How i choose to use my time is my business mate but let's be honest today is the age on instant, always on comms. I can be cooking dinner for the family and posting on gtp, i can be sat on a train going to an event and posting on gtp, hell, if i was so inclined i could be taking a dump and posting on gtp (am i, am i, ask yourself. Am i?). I could be just about anywhere. I don't do idle moments.
Unless there is a warm breeze, sunset, some shiraz and my other half of course.
who was it who said "i'll sleep when i'm dead"?
Equally, not sure how i am more vociferous than the pro-glitchers, and i certainly have been more polite. But, it's a free world, well, kinda, in parts.
