Is there any difference in butt feel if you mount it directly under or will the deep base transfer through the frame anyway and create the feeling of bumps directly under you?

Idealy should be under seat, however on the side creates similar effect. Not the same as under seat however rumble strips
And bump felt good. After a while i cant tell the different

you know the gear pole is detachable , leaving a smal ( pole on the side of the chair) that can be moved left and right, that pole is clamped by the BK clamp and works really well surprisingly,
hmm 1 thing I wish I could get GT2 instead of GT3 RS v2, color matching lol/

but they are the same, the wheel is really comfortable, bit different to g27. no cluncking noise, bigger rim, thicker.
i was running test on PS3 (gt5 , DiRT3), pc F1 2011 and Dirt 3, finding good settings is not stright forward, however once I found settings I like , it's awesome.

rFactor is quite cool. the display on the wheel can put out number ie gear that im in.
the pedal ABS now vibrates when my wheel locks up,( on pc and ps3). stil testing. and want to see if I can improve my laptime

haha . yeah i know, i want to go into it . at the moment , jugling between f1 2011 and gt5 will keep me entertained for a while, I wasn't worry about subscription service, don't get me wrong they are not cheap and does add up.

what Im worried about is the inability of me letting it go after awhile and no time do go out and see the sunlight :P

Im planning to do that 1 for 3 month thing for trial. I need a bit of motivation and fellow countrymen to initiate :)

I will add you once i start though for sure, I like 'tidy" racing where no driving opposite directions , and ramming others, so once i get my proper license i will start enjoying clean race.

oh btw i know this doesn't make sense : but the buttkicker really surprised me today.
the 3.5mm to RCA(red and white) , you know only either one that connects to the BKA Amp right?

[/IMG]

now the one i plugged in is the red one if im not mistaken which translate to be "right side" speaker that goes to the BK

So you see the pic the BK was on my right side, Now every time I was running rumble strip on the right the BK rummbles hard, while if it's on the left I kind of felt it on the left of the seat.

I know this doesnt' make sense but you know when you take out one side of the headphone say the right side and the left side still on your ear, if the stereo sound is meant on the right side you can still hear it abit on your left headphone?, even though only alittle bit, but you know that it is sound for the right side.

now that is what happen to the BK at the moment, when I was rammed from teh left, the BK on the rigth can rumble enough Low Frequency Effect that My left side is rumbling.

Its weird . but it works :D
so it doesnt' matter which side you mount the BK at as long as it is connected to the right side of the RCA on the Amplifier.

hmm Imagine if you have 2 and the 3.5mm to RCA -> white goes to left AMp and Red goes to right amp and each amp goes to each Buttkicker on the correct side.

translation : you get bumps and rumble on the correct side like you are in a real car :)

but i need the other side latter on for the keyboard and mouse mount so , it works right now.

Sorry for the Long post but for people who asked the question if it's biased or not putting Buttkicker on one side, the answer is NO, It can work properly as long as you plug the correct RCA side from your AUdio source to the corresponding Buttkicker Amp.

ie: if red RCA means right-side speaker, and you plug red in to the input on the BK Amp, the you need to mount the buttkicker rumbler on the right side. it will simulate the correct effect on your chair. Try it !

If anyone is wandering how this works with Fanatec shifter
I've received couple of question in regards to the "funky" Fanatec shifter ( with connector at the bottom) and no mounting solution.
THIS is how I mount mine, so far it's very strong, been using for 2 weeks now not moving a bit

sturdy as ever

yeah i saw that before, but the shipment to australia and the wait for now I'll live with cable ties. i was really interested in the reverse clubsport mount though. I'll see how the second clubsport load cell last this time. the first one is 3 weeks lol, I hope this second one last at least 3 years.

Maybe we should put up a countdown for your load-cell? But I am sure it will be fine, especially when I look at the poll.

Decisions, Decisions... :)

A. Russian winter is on it´s way and a Canada Goose Baffin Anorak would really keep me warm for the next 10 years.

B. Buy a HumanR

C. Save up $10.000 for a first hand contract to an apartment in a very attractive place here in Gothenburg.

Decisions, Decisions... :)

Mount for FANATEC Shifter:
These two pictures below belongs to V12 in Germany

PS: My setup "almost" there to where I wanted it.
I need STILL triple screen mount and my frex + shifter to arrive., and a button box and maybe an sli-pro.. just maybe. love Gt5 so much haven't thought of needing one.

Marcus, how much was the remaining import cost for your GT excluding the chassis?

There was none, as the importer was, pseudoracing.com a Distributor in Australia.
however in Australia it would cost another 10%GST and 5% Duty (anything over $1000), not including the custom clearance fee and docking fee
in US and CANADA I don't think you guys pay that much,

Last time I imported an item , the fleet want's to charge me AU$600( for custom clearance and Fleet fee in total) the item i was importing was about 20-30 dollars, the shipper should've use UPS or Fedex, would've just cost $100 straight to my door. ( this was another item from a China Supplier)

please make sure you check your country requirements and charges for bulk items. and if you can pay a bit more for UPS do it. as it's not worthed to be shipped by sea, in Australia.

unless you don't have a choice

Here's what I got from Tin:
- Shipping cost to Vancouver by sea freight (LCL): USD195 (cost has been increases recently)
- Local charge in Canada + in-land transportation from Vancouver sea port to Edmonton:
1) Trucking charge: USD362.66
2) DOC fee: USD85.33
3) Terminal: USD85.33
4) LLEO: USD9.60
5) Customs GST: USD85.33
6) VAT: 5% of invoice value
7) Handling: USD85.33

In summary, delivery+duty = ~ US$1100 excl. product.

No worth it, if I'm just ordering the chassis. I might as well go the full nine yard and he the magnesium plates, mouse and keyboard, and the 3 screen stand.

I was really thinking about getting one but holy crapola that's a lot of money less the product yet. I agree with you, not worth it.

i know that there is one in LAX, according to them. im pretty sure someone here have visited their showroom too

I heard about the distributor in LAX too, but I've been reading a lot of no service or no response from the LAX distributor on blogs and forums. This was since 2 years ago, so I would not bother trying them.
