Great tutorial Marcus! Thanks for all the effort!

Hoping for the SLI-F1 release soon, otherwise, i'll just get the Pro and go ahead with your DIY. 👍

One thing, how did you route the cables out of the wheel itself (I probably missed it, ill check again)? Also, I saw someone cut the PCB and move the lower LED to the side to look more F1. Have you ever considered it?

Glad you liked it mate, Thank you, re the cable I will use a spiral cable for now until i change to a quick release, so usb cable will be outside the wheel for now

Umm yeah i saw that with the routing of 6 LEDs to the side, no I dont think I want to do that. Im afraid ill damage the whole thing. :)

Novice lurker, this is my first post. IMHO this tutorial should be pinned. F1 brought me here, nice read and results. Bravo!

Hi Riofan,
Welcome to GTP, glad you enjoyed the tutorial, Thanks for the compliment.

Looks awesome Hwangm 👍, clean as always! Glad to see those triples! Thanks for the update.

cheers mate its about time. I think I will need a new triple mount in the near future. this one looks so ugly but at $11 I hold of on complaining :P

It goes without saying Marcus. Very Nice and Complete..!

Oh yeah, is Antonio doing complete plates with SLI built in etc...?

Sweetness! Marcus you always does things clean and appealing. Nice PC too, I like the specs:)

I'd like to see how you mount your right side accessories to the chassis. Are you using a second shifter mount or did you come up with your own solution?

Race on :D

This is an old video Marcus did showing how he mounted his 'many' shifters ;)
Hope it helps...

EDIT: I just realised a bit irrelevant, but still gives an idea of how he mounts 'em

thanks readyfe, sorry for delay, was racing tonite, umm, yes, I have 2 HR shifter mount,
this is how I mount the frex shift + and HB+ and button box on my right side Pilmat

The Keyboard and mouse tray is on the little seat/box.
now it is sitting on the PC case.

Fred,
Antonino only do the plate with all the holes for SLI PRO, no buttons, wire or SLI-PRO. just the plate.

Marcus to embed here at GTP do this.

Awesome video, I am still drooling. 👍 👍
Nice to see that Loco F1 Rim in action!
I see you took care of the monitor mount situation.

Thanks Jogo, my fave formula rim at the moment. well actually they are all my fav now. even the round GT rim feels nicer(maybe it's the triple screen).

Yes monitor mount situation is "temporarily" taken care of, quick and nasty $11 mount. it works , but it's wobbly if I bump it and I get frustrated coz the whole thing shifted and FOV becomemessed up. but at the moment it's sitting very FOV accurate:tup:. until I bump it again then it's time to go shopping for triple frame.

Awesome, I've been telling people about that driving position since I got here since its basically the VR3 driving position. And yeah, Fred is great. :)

I must say ReadyFe and his dad did a great job on the monitor stand for you! 👍 👍
Looks very good with your HRC too , doesn't take away from it visually, something bulkier might do that.
I really like the way the screens are positioned too!

Yes Maya, the closer it is the wheel the faster the reflex counter steer for me.

Very very good of him mate, and the mount is really solid, not a big upgrade, but a big difference it made to my racing.

Woww the t500-rs body is so big!

Yes looks that way from the side, never noticed it , but from the front and while using it, it felt natural, doesnt obstruct the view at all.

The power and sharpness is what this wheel shines at, especially when i move from my gt3 RS fanatec wheel.

yeah, I't quite light, I saw a datasheet somewhere before, tried to find it but no luck , I think the whole thing is like 30-35kg max(with the seat rail, Sliders and the bucket seat itself)
