Now THAT is one thing that I would use all the time. If GT5 had a make-your-own-course feature... Omg... I cant even say how awesome that would be. Did they leave out a track? Make your own replica!

It's not TH you know, if you want great gfx they shouldn't do that, it would use too much space...

*TH=Tony Hawk
The game where you could make your own skatepark...

It'd be possible, you could have a number of set peices of road for you to mapa course from you coould change the tightness of a corner, the camber, elevation ect. All you'd need to do then is pick a type of scenery and then let the PS3 generate scenery around the track from a library of objects built n the game from other tracks like tree's grandsatands ect. They wouldn't be as realistic or look as good as the pre-done tracks, but it's hardly impossible. As for space, I refer you once again to the Blu-Ray disk, rember were not limited to DVD's now.

I LOVE IT!!!

I'd so recreate TMS...
This would be perfect. Imagine uploading your track to the online world...(If PD can get that in)

Makes perfect sense. With the power that the PS3 generates, why not have such a thing in GT5. I guantee it would fit on the Blu_Ray discs and the PS3 would have plenty of computing power to make it wonderful. (At least how GT3 looks on a create your own track)

Like in all other theads like this. This is a cool idea. But honestly do you think polyphony would do it correctly? and do you think they could do it correctly witht he visual expectations they have for GT5? No. I would like to have this but it wouldnt look very good and i doubt PD would do it correctly. They have alot more other things they should focus more on that this. I do think they should have a make your own course autocross style. This would be much more fitting as people who do autocross could setup courses and get better in ways.

It wouldn't be that difficult to do, the surrounding scenery would be generic and randomised with items from GT4's library thrown in at certain points. The graphics would be the same as the rest of the game but it wouldn't look as spectacular with generic scenery. They could randomise the ground and then ledt you place items like grandstands and trees with only a small ammount of extra effort, that would allow you to make more realistic looking scenery. It's not a complicated process, we've already seen jow impressive the PS3 is at creating random scenery een without the RSX.

Tommi Makkinen Rally already has this, kiddies.

Yeah, so does V-Rally 2 and Rally Cross 2 and a few other games, but none of them are as good games as GT is.

I'm 33% sure that Tommi Makkinen rally came before V Rally 1 or 2.

It came out around the same time as V-Rally, but I don't see why Tommi Makkinen rally having a track editor has anytihng to with people wanting one in GT5.
