Mind if i add you then? Should be fun to be able to talk to someone from GTP. The problem is time zones. Its currently 1:45 in the morning here... Sometimes living in the AU can be extreemly annoying!

On my 3rd reforge I got the Efrideet's Spear with Surplus, Field Scout and Firefly. Sweeeeet.
 
DAMMIT! I just realized nearly this whole week my sensitivity has been on 5... i usually play on 10! That explains so much! BUT NOW I AM USED TO IT!!

Wow, this actually sucks... :grumpy: just as i was getting good at PVP, nope, have to start from scratch again.

Anecdote of the weekend: After seeing so many "solo" videos of Raids and strikes I felt confident enough to actually try the nightfall solo.

Arc Burn, Solar Burn on the Omnigul nightfall strike.

I have done this strike so many times I knew what to expect but wow. Solo is not easy, and I do not have a Ghorn. So many times did I curse the name Omingul. The worst part of it all were the freaking boomers spamming shot like they had X ray vision.

Frustration aside, I finally did it....my reward. Ascendant shards....yay.....I am sure this is not uncommon for all my fellow Destiny players but boy was i livid.

Soon after I booted up GTA5 and Los Santos felt my wrath.
 
Solo Omnigul is probably one of the hardest ones. It's not impossible but it is difficult to the point of you don't want to do it.

I believe the easiest ones to solo are the Archon Priest, Summoning Pits and Devil's Lair.
 
Valus is pretty easy as well, even easier now since his health is a full 1/3rd less.

On that note. They should make nightfall harder for some and all it would take is a slight tweak. Want Valus to be a nightmare? Solar burn would do it.

I have always wondered why I have yet to see the Black Garden Nightfall Strike but after thinking about, it would probably be close to damn near impossible.

Imagine, Void burn, Angry and juggler with the hordes of Vex on that strike, as well as with the undying mind? Oh man...

Better reason: PSN exclusive. Same reason the Psion Flayers strike will not be nightfall.

I think they would be quite stupid as a nightfall... because any time there is only one burn, the other two will be an absolute **** to kill...

Juggler, Angry. Pretty much only thing they can do. They could hypothetically do Void burn or Arc burn. They cannot do Solar burn.

There is a black garden strike and a mission. The strike came out with the dark below ;)

Not until it drops in price. I'll get TDB if it drops to $10. I don't play a lot anymore anyway. And without HoW I'll still get to level to 34 and upgrade my weapons to 365 attack.

Ugh, Tried to solo that nightfall and it kept on prompting me to breach the gate, then "kill them all" for 3 turns, then nothing. Great place to find Axiomatic Beads though, as well as Polyphage to make some decent glimmer.

You need to move up and kill at least one in close range or else either the waves keep coming or the game fails to open the gate.
 
Ya just keep one goblin alive if possible. Then run down into the middle there and make sure you kill him there.

Because it's the Cauldron my team has automatically lost. We get to the rewards screen. I (a level 31 hunter that went 20 and 12) received a blue helmet. A level 23 (that went 10 and 14) received an Ice Breaker. Anger proceeded shortly after that.

Fast forward to about 5 minutes ago. I have completed the Weekly Nightfall Strike (Archon with all burn. Didn't we have this 2 weeks ago?). My friend finished his exotics collection with the ATS/8 Arachnid. I received.....an Ice Breaker.

I think it's safe to say that Destiny is giving out free Ice Breakers.

Yeah it seems so, i got two ice breakers in a row from legendary engrams :sick:
 
Ha! This is not uncommon at all. completed nightfall yesterday and got my 5th pair of Ruin Wings. I have heard of people getting Gjallahorn's left and right. Why can't that be me...(sigh).

Can I be honest with you guys, I don't really see the big deal about the G-horn. Granted I'm more of an LMG guy but still. If you have one, great. If you don't, well it's not the end of the world.

I hear ya, it has become sort of a mob mentality. I for one would like it so I can solo the Crota Raid due to the fact that any other launcher would take a few more hits to drop him to his knees. It also makes short work of that witch inside the crystal room, you only have a short amount of time before she starts her "song" and boom it's all over.

But, again thats just me and my new found obsession with solo runs. :)
