Ugh, Tried to solo that nightfall and it kept on prompting me to breach the gate, then "kill them all" for 3 turns, then nothing. Great place to find Axiomatic Beads though, as well as Polyphage to make some decent glimmer.

I've tried to glimmer farm that strike several times and I never get glimmer at the big waves of yellow hobgoblins, and minators thingies, but the glimmer does drop at all other parts of the strike, like the beginning and the waves at the boss. Just not at that high concentrated section. Am I alone on this?

Personally, I have had some good glimmer drops with all the enemies in the area, a slight caveat though is that I am using Blue Polyphage.

Can't say for fellow guardians but I will get 40+ from a hobgoblin alone. After the massacre I drop down to the main area where they all spawn and there are normally 3-6 Axiomatic Beads as well.
 
Prison of Elders stream is going on right now. So far they're at Round 4 out of 5.
 
Well, no Prison of Elders for me. at least nothing above lvl 28. Most of the people I have played Destiny with have moved on to other games or at lvl 10....time to pimp myself out on the bungie forums :)

So far it appears the Level 32 isn't too bad to handle. That and I heard two other groups finished the Level 34 strike when they were flown out to Bungie.
 
@Blitz24 So here's how things went last night:

- We were going for Flawless Raider. All of us rusty as I don't know what getting back to grips with the game and kept dying entering the Hellmouth. Not a casualty to a loose Thrall or Knight, no, we were overcome by inertia on multiple occasions.
- And then we were casualties to any number of enemies. And map geometry.
- Once we stopped going for Flawless (we reset several hundred million times) we got through Crota's End with relative ease. We still died, but relative ease all the same.

I finally got the Song of Ir Yut. At least my aim is coming back in-line with what it used to be.

Entering? No, but we may as well with how many times one of us died.

At any other point? One of us fell victim to the previously mentioned map geometry. :p
 
Xur this week.... meh.
Obsidian is workable this week at 70 I/58 S, but that's 8 below an earlier drop of 71/66.
Ruin Wings is okay. 102 S
Arachnid is 61 D/68 S.

I may buy arachnid if I get anything. Ruin Wings and Obsidian are lower than what I already have (my Ruin Wings is a 110 S). If you don't have Obsidian, get it, though. Obsidian + Bad Juju = Super for days on Voidwalker.

Also, if you don't have it, get Thunderlord. It is worth it.

Agreed. It's a very good machine gun and unless you get lucky rolls it's probably near one of the best. It will drop slightly when Corrective gets its boost to 365.

Ya no doubt. VOG weapons at 365 are going to be among the best in the game.
 
I'm going to go ahead and say this now: Lord of Wolves is broken. Mark this post down because when it's nerfed you would have seen it coming. :lol:

Nice. I did some VoG with @Frizbe @TJisA1337NOOB and friends over the weekend, mostly got repeat armors, Atheons Epilogue and shards.................signed on today and the postmaster has a message- Gjallahorn! I must have missed it since my Heavy slot on my Hunter was full.

Just my luck....get Gjallahorn, but having a blast with Project CARS, first world problems are the worst!

Yeah, looking at the footage of it (only like 3 seconds but still) It looks like a pulse-shotgun. God damn it will wreck face.

And no-one is about to convince me that the Thunderlord isn't the best heavy machine gun. In PVP, as long as you hit every shot, you can kill about 20 players with one pick up. 20!!!!!

yeah. And it fires faster than the other 3 hit head-shot weapons. and it can hold 87 rounds from one PVP ammo pickup.
 
Terronium alluded to our Flawless attempts - Mission Accomplished! We 4 manned Crota last night for the trophy. After a few runs to determine strategy (edit: we died a lot) he went down like a sack of potatoes.

Don't you just love the little bastards that rage quit a strike because someone else left. I just want to give them a big hug, so big that there head flys off mortal kombat style. :grumpy:
 
Finally got the Word of Crota. Of course I also got the Thunderlord as well. This game man...

Is it just me or are the Knights of Crota impossible to find now?

Ever since the last update, they seem to have vanished. Not really sure what this attributed to, but I haven't seem them in weeks.
