I think the problem was communication wasn't frequent enough and I'll take blame for that as I should have repeated it often enough after we wiped out, and made sure everyone understood what was going on.

It's an easy enough rhythm to get into once you understood that every single part of the raid is identical in some way or another; opening the door required you defend the sync plates and form the spire. Getting to the Templar required you to defend confluxes and take out oracles. Getting to Atheon requires you to defend sync plates and a conflux (although not at the same time).

I'll take blame for not being clear enough.

We had issues with mics and people not being able to hear and with not knowing what we were actually doing it was a struggle.

Should have went better than it did tho!

Hopefully people will be free tomorrow so we can give it a proper go.
 
I will be available tonight from 6-8pm Gmt. Everyone does need mics, especially for a first run.

So, finally tried the raid with @Terronium-12, @dice1998, @Oso Actual , and @CAMAROBOY69. I must say, it was pretty intense. So much so that I had 5 beers and it feels like Ive had less than half that because of the adrenaline.

I managed better than I thought I would. I was expecting to do horrible haha. Also, sorry if I was loud, I have no playback on my headset, so I may not realize how loud I'm speaking :lol:

Yes it was indeed quite intense. Overall the team did quite well considering it was the first time for a couple of you. With a little more time we would have beat the Templar. We were trying to experiment to see if it was easier to stop him from warping, or just let him warp. Seems like its faster to just stop him from warping and keep throwing everything we have at him. It also helped a lot now that I had the Suros Regime. I am also glad the "clearing" cache suggestion helped some of you that were getting disconnected. As you have learned, if 1 person disconnects, its over.

At least now everyone has an idea of what they are up against in the raid. And yes the Templar is nothing compared to what comes next. I try to set up a raid every Saturday.

I'd say it'd be a lot easier if at least two of us had Truth for the oracles. Mine is very nearly maxed out.

I just need to get better weapons. Would help immensely if I managed to do that as well.

I'd rather get Ascendant Energy than a cloak, but that's just me.

Cloaks are awesome. All of the vanity things can be awesome. I really want Light of the Great Prism.

There's the Thorn, there are a lot of other exotic weapons.

You should dismantle it all and go for Axiom Coven gear, I hear it's the rage these days.

That's about all I ever get from the raid. Hoping my luck will change and I start getting shards. Or even raid armor would be nice but shards would be better than nothing.

Tough run tonight guys, got the raid chest plate tho so not all bad!

I have arms/legs (fully upgraded) now just need shards so I can upgrade the chest piece.
