After downloading the update I received 3 weird halloween themed things from the postmaster. Jackolytes, I wonder what they do.

Edit - something to do with the hive according to the description.

I think we were planning on it. It's only twenty to four so most people will be at work still (I got the day off).

I wasn't sure if we were planning for it or not but I'll be on so if there is enough interest I'm more than willing to give it a go.

If not I'll be looking to do the nightfall if people are about.
 
Weird, I never get disconnected normally. That's twice now.

It's the wonderful patch. It fixed everything. :p
 
I got my rewards but according to the map screen I haven't done the heroic weeky yet :)

Going to leave the nightfall until the fix the servers.

Ok, if you need someone to fill a spot when you decide to do it just send an invite. :)

Edit - So that's what they do, Considering it mentions hive in the description they must have a effect or something when you come into contact with hive.

I wonder if that means we will have to clear the cache with EVERY update. I know clearing the cache worked for most people when they were having problems. I wonder if it has to happen every time. Would be ridiculous but not surprising at all. I should have clarified this cache clear is for the X1.

Good day for me so far. I received the 77-Wizard for leveling up the cryptarch and then Steel Oracle Z-11 from a rare engram. I needed legendary arc RL and FR so that was perfect. I also leveled my Hunter to 20+ so I'm close to finishing it off and deleting after I get the trophy.

What does everyone think of the Weekly/Nightfall? I thought it was pretty easy for the Weekly and that was with dropping down. Haven't tried the Nightfall yet but I'm sure I'll stay up above for that.

God that shader is driving me crazy. I swear I got it three times in a row while playing through the Tiger Strikes.
 
I was making good progress with soloing this week's nightfall when suddenly, a wild monkey appears.

I'm done with this game for now :lol:

I've been getting Giglamesh countless times. I get that shader every time I boot the game up.

Also, has anyone here Become Legend yet?

While thats just as useless, it still looks better then blood pact.
 
Just solo'd the nightfall. Stay up and don't drop down from the ledge. You can prevent the minotaur from spawning by going up and standing where it spawns. So once the nexus stops shooting at the ledge rush up and get some shots into the nexus. Turn around after 8 secs ready for the minotaur. Kill it. Stand where it spawns waiting for the nexus to stop shooting the ledge and attack the nexus again turn around ready for the minotaur etc. If you get low on ammo just stand where the minotaur spawns so you can wait to open a synthethis without danger of it spawning. Only got a Legendary scout rifle that I already have this time. :)
 
Disconnected twice while trying to solo the level 26 weekly strike... Everything was going well too.:(
