Did the Weekly Nightfall Strike with 2 friends yesterday.
One of us had a Raid Scout Rifle with Void damage, so he stayed on the ledge above the Boss's room and quietly took out all the minotaurs below. Then he took care of the boss.
In the mean time, the other two were watching for the minotors that come from behind. I removed their shields with my Raid Sniper Rifle while our third mate would finish them with Void rockets.

We cleared the Nightfall in 20 minutes... It was easier than last week's Nightfall. :eek:

We'll go for a Raid tonight. I need new armor pieces to take my Warlock to level 30, as I'm stuck in my mid 29...

I was wondering, I may be starting to have some luck, at last... :D
I looted an exotic chest armor (Titan class) a few weeks ago. Then a legendary engram for boots saturday and a legendary engram for gauntlets yesterday (between 2 disconnects). The Cryptarch decoded my two legendary engrams and... my Titan now has an exotic chest armor, legendary gauntlets and legendary boots. Just need a legendary helmet to complete his equipment. OK, he's level 16 now, but it will be well equipped when it eventually reaches level 20.
Add to this that my Praedyth's Revenge raid sniper rifle, Ice Breaker sniper rifle and Shadow Price are maxed out, that my Suros Regime and Rocket launcher are almost maxed out...
My efforts are starting to show some effect.
 
You guys planing on doing the raid today? If there is a spot for I would like to join. Also I'm in for weekly heroic or nightfall strikes.

My clan (French) has set up 3 groups of Raiders for tonight... But no free spots left this time, sorry.

Within a few days, I hope I'll be able to go raiding with 2 characters, my Warlock and my Titan. Which means I'll be raiding at least twice per week.
 
I won't be raiding today, my moms birthday so we're taking her out for a meal.

Should be good the rest of the week though.

I'm up for doing the weekly heroic and the nightfall this evening and raiding later in the week
 
Could still do with some help as well on the nightfall, no way I'm going to be able to solo it.
 
I'll be online in about one and a half hours. That's 18:00-18:30 british time.
 
I guess I'm just crap at this game but I can't do the nexus solo heroic or nightfall. I'm on the verge of throwing m my controller out the window just because as soon as I finall kill the Minotaurs the nexus kills me in two hits.

I'm on for another half an hour if anybody can please help me. I'm chat the nexus checkpoint already.

I'm the same way, I spent about a good hour alone just trying to find exploits on the high up ledges above the Nexus because I got fed up with the blast radius from those weapons. I figured out you can jump up them, and stay way up, and as long as you back away from the ledge he wont hit you. In order to kill him though I need another player(or two) to draw fire and then I can attack, and we can just take turns.

Am I reading that wrong or is it really only 1 strike, 1 raid, and a couple story missions? :odd: Glad I didn't get the season pass if that's true. I thought they would add at least 3 or 4 new strikes with the 1 raid. I know they are trying to stretch out the game but ouch.

Where are you firing from at the Nexus?
 
I've tried loads of places.

I did get one good spot but then he managed some how fire round the corner and kill me.

Two if you're on playstation. I'm assuming a whole new set of raid gear will accompany the new raid.

Hmm that's a bummer for the X1 players. I guess Bungie does still have a grudge against MS. Oh well.

I completed the weekly heroic with a friend last night on level 22 and we stayed up on the ledge firing at the boss, whilst watching out for the respawning Minatours. I think we can employ the strategy, for the nightfall but we will need patience.

Btw I don't think you crap, from what I've seen you can hold your own. Soloing strikes isn't easy, just need to be a bit cautious in my experience.

I was expecting a lot more than what they listed. I figured several new missions and at least one new strike on every planet. Every planet has spots that's never been used. I figured first dlc would use all those spots that hasn't been used and next dlc would be mercury. Really though I can't see them being able to keep up with content in the game. They really need to make it more social and easier to meet new people.

It would also be nice to have a harder daily or something. The way they talked I really thought the game would be harder than it is.

Anything under 28 seems to be easy enough to do alone, I just cant get the 28 done solo. The Nightfall wouldnt be to much harder I would think as all its adding is No Respawn, No ammo drop for current weapon, and one other insignificant perk, which I forget.

Tomorrow I can help if need be. I've been leveling up my Hunter. Got up 3 levels in 1.5 hours.

So I am grinding my Vanguard rep, trying to get to level 3 in order to get a Legendary gun from the QM and I have my eye on the Comedian....now I have just got my rep to 3 and go back to the Tower to get the gun, but I have a message at the Postmaster. Its a Legendary engram and what is it? A strange coin, Ascendant Energy and The Comedian..WTF Destiny. LOL! This game sometimes trolls you hard.

I'm still well stuck on 27. I just got New Monarchy up to level 3 and I was rewarded with everything but a legendary (also got cryptarch to level 11).
 
Today I learned the importance of Ammo Syntheses... Got The Nexus down to a sliver of health today, only to get picked off by a Hobgoblin, and then get respawned with no sniper ammo, leaving my incapable of taking down the Axis Minotaurs at the beginning of the fight.
