EDIT: I just love it when people attempt to steal the sword when I kill the Blade.

I've had my tough moments in Destiny to date but nothing compared to the bounty- Hard Fall, Rapidly kill 4 hive with heavy weapon, death resets.........:banghead: I know it's just my frustration but it feels like certain kills are not registering during certain moments where there are a plethora of thrall.

I do this on the first moon mission where "We've woken The Hive", they come streaming out, just unload with a machine gun at the thrall and acolytes, just dont kill the knight. when they stop die, and you restart at the same place, i also do the fusion kill, and precision kills at the same place.
 
Thanks for the tips. I finally got it by switching to the machine gun, in my mind I thought for sure the rocket launcher would be ideal.

As I was patrolling earth looking for areas where hive were lurking, I swear every person was working on the same bounty, which was probably true. Now to figure out what Axion Bolt is?
 
Axion Bolt is a Warlock grenade, but I'm not sure which subclass has it.

Thanks to @Hyped, I was able to do the Siege of the Warmind on hard and took next to no damage due to a safe spot.

I'm glad to find out The Last Word that I had gotten a couple weeks back is not obsolete anymore.

For those who dont know, you can replace your current Exotic for the price of one of those exotic shards and some glimmer, as long as you have the weapon equiped.

I'm just sad it totally reset it.

EDIT: I dont think it has every exotic.

EDIT2: Has anyone finished that Urn bounty after you buy it from Xur? I got up to the first 25 kills with the Solar fusion rifle, but after that melee kills poped up. Had to jump to work, was just expecting this thing to end after Xur :lol:

Can anyone do both nightfall and the daily story with me today? I will be on in about 90 minutes.
 
Man I'm scared to even attempt the nightfall. The strike alone was hectic, but that could have been because it was the first time through.

it is, there is only a handful of us :( we barely have enough for a raid team.

Their's actually I believe 5 steps to that quest. I figured I'd knock it out quick but ran out of time this morning.:lol:
 
I need to do the nightfall. I found a perfect place though to do the first bounty for the quest for Eris.

There's a trick to it and I just found out what it is. Essentially you need to collect 5 of them without dying, not actually kill them AND collect them. Kill 5 of the cursed thrall first and then collect the tokens.

Doesnt it explain all that on the actual bounty? I already assumed that was the case.

I didnt even know I finished the 25 solar damage fusion kill drops. It was well into it that they werent dropping anymore so I was like what the heck is going on. Checked the bounty, told me to melee 5 thralls haha.
 
Best place to do it is the Moon DLC mission. About 10 to 20 groups of 5 cursed thralls each appear.

This. Also shoot them in the legs to weaken them, melee and run. If you stay in that area when they first appear, they will keep spawning so you can take your time.
 
You only need to melee them and kill them. Doesn't matter if you die, as long as you do NOT collect the piece from them.

The 3rd step would be ALOT easier if I had a void primary. Kill 100 acolytes and wizards with void damage.

The reward is a set of +33 light gauntlets..... really?
