Question,

Those at lvl 30, are you buying the factions/vanguard gear?

I was going to now I'm not sure if I will or not, think I'll get wait and try and pick it up from the new raid.

So far I have received the vanguard chest piece and raid gauntlets for my warlock and a Exotic helm for my Hunter. So I might have to buy the commendation free pieces to get them into the 31 area. The titan who is a 27 will have to have items bought, hopefully xur will make the decision a bit easier tomorrow, depending on how the upgrades work.

I will be Crota raiding before he leaves with the 30's, so any armour that drops will make the decision easier.
 
Who on here is using the PS3 version of destiny? I need more destiny freinds, and it would be very good to have some on GTP, where conversing without a mic is much easier!
 
I'm about to break 30's and all I've bought so far where gloves.

I have an The Voidfang vestments that max at 30 light, so that can use some upgrading. Both my boots and helmet are maxed at 27 light so that can definitely use upgrading as well. After I get the boots I should be well into 30.

I bought all 4 pieces for my Titan. I haven't attempted the new raid yet but I've heard being 31 will make it much easier so I decided to do it.
 
Yeah I also am half way through 30, gauntlets, chest and boots all from Vanguard. Once I get my chest piece fully upgraded and a commendation for a helmet, 31 should be possible without raid gear.

I'll see what I get from doing the raid 1st I guess, i don't wanna buy the factions gear only to then get drops off the raid/ranking factions up.

Basically I'm a tight ass and don't want to waste marks/shards haha

Especially with how long it'll take to get those Commendations.

Thats my standpoint as well. Bungie will probably move the goalposts anyway.

Yeah not sure I like how the new upgrades work but if you only do 6 patrols a day and you only receive +50 vanguard bounties each day and you complete all of them is still just led than 7 days to get another vanguard level so I think someone who gets on daily for 2 hours or so should be able to get that done I'd think. Still sucks though :lol:
 
Okay. Never seen the undying mind strike before. Myself and @Terronium-12 just got into it. Anyone else see it before?
 
I might be able to get the new dlc on Monday and would like to do the nightfall strike then if anyone would like to join me please

You know my answer by now. :p

I didn't realize it was two 27's and a 30. Makes more sense why I was being crazy then.
 
I'm downgraded just so I can get more AS by leveling up useless legendary armor.

As far as I know that doesn't work with armor. It works with weapons but not armor.

@Blitz24 if you got the first chest from anywhere in the first room that's why you didn't get anything.

Nope got it. Only thing left for me today is the daily story. Which I should do I guess as you jump on my head.

I do hope Xur has a decent selection of stuff to but tomorrow, but knowing his form so far, I doubt it.

I've had my tough moments in Destiny to date but nothing compared to the bounty- Hard Fall, Rapidly kill 4 hive with heavy weapon, death resets.........:banghead: I know it's just my frustration but it feels like certain kills are not registering during certain moments where there are a plethora of thrall.

Do it on the new mission on Earth and use a heavy machine gun when all the thrall come running at you.
