Hi Guys,

I bought a GFGT a few weeks ago and it worked wonderfully. But this weekend, I disconnected it and after I reconnected it, I can't seem to adjust the traction, ASM anymore using the dial, when I press the RA dial, the traction and ASM menu becomes transparent. How ever I was able to adjust the 4 wheel torque, abs, and brake balance, so I would imagine that it's not an connection issues. Anyone can help me with the issue?

Thanks

Same here. I tried to change the TCS and ASM while I was doing the Indy 500 but I couldn't. I thought it was because I was using a controler but it seems that this is the same for DFGT users

Have you looked into the HW options for the Wheel, maybe you picked the wrong wheel "profile"?

Also, I noticed that you are able to adjust the force feedback level, was this always there of is this new. I have been wanting to adjust it forever but just saw it the other day.

This isn't user error. It is definately a software glitch/change of some kind. It is believed that joining an online lobby with TCS and ASM prohibited will cause this problem. The issue has been discussed in this forum HERE .

Please post if you are experiencing this issue and hopefully PD will hear about it and fix it.

I noticed this in the Indy 500 endurance race. I tried to switch TC on to see if it would extent tyre life but the option was ghosted out. After the race I went to the car options screen to check if TC is allowed in the race. It is and I was able to switch it on. During the race I tried to switch it off but again the option was ghosted out. Other options like brake balance where still available on both occasions. This must be a bug introduced with update 1.05 since it wasn't happening before in events.

this is just sad... I bought the wheel just for this function... wow.... PD....

This problem, like so many others in GT5, is indicative of a core issue within the PD development process...Lack of effective product/software testing. It seems to me that GT5 is really a massive paid public beta. They "fixed" the online enablement of TCS by simply disabling it...but never bothered to check if their fix broke the functionality of their officially supported race wheel.

I don't know if any one stated this but if The room host sets the Room settings to TSM off/ ABS off then you cant change it with the dial on the Steering wheel. It's not a glitch or bug.

That's true.

However... in the initial release there was bug whereby drivers could change their settings in an online race regardless of the host's settings.

In Update 1.05 this was corrected but the correction had a knock-on effect whereby users often couldn't alter TCS in ANY race, online or offline.

Update 1.06 has restored the functionality while continuing to exclude the initial-release bug.
