Nice video! Were you there when they were warming up the car before taking it on the track? I stood between two of them a few months ago as they were revving the engines and it was incredible.

Motorsports Hall of Fame has its inductions each year and I volunteer to help get it all ready. Here are some of the cars this year. Yes they are blurry but it was in a wearhouse and I was in a hurry. There are also more cars inside the museum itself.

Thank you. I should have better ones tomorrow since most are in better light now. Plus we have alot more in the museum so I'll get some of those. I was speechless when I first got there and saw them all in one cluster. I didn't know where to start haha.

A friend and I were passing through Loveland last month and came across a small show. These were the only pics I took.

Not today, last November though, which is not the last event I had been to, however is the last event I attended that had non blurry pictures due to bad photography.

Turkey Rod Run. Daytona International Speedway
turkeyrun018.jpg

The whole infield of the speedway fills up for the weekend, there are more classic cars there than you could count. Every parking lot, all the way down even to the beach has cars in it, some have nothing but classic cars.

I'm not sure how popular the movie "Cars" was outside the states but if you've ever seen it I'm sure you'd recognize this fella.

First Z06 I'd seen in person.

One photo that was not full of glare or blurred from me shivering from February 2009, The Budweiser shootout at Daytona.

Dale Jr's AMP Impala, to bad I had to beat people with a stick to even get this clear of a photo, the Camaro pace car to the left of this was pointless to shoot since everyone and their mother were in front of it at all times.

It's not the best, also not the newest, just the best I have that's in digital form while not suffering from my poor camera skills. I'll be going to the Turkey Run again this November and be sure to do my best to get some quality shots. The cars I posted aren't 1/1,000,000th of whats there. When the Rolex cars head back to Daytona for the 24Hrs this January, I'll be sure to photograph the cars all day and night, I already can't wait for that.

Heres a few more from the last post.

These go with the R8. So it has some race history. And I sat in it. :dopey:

As promised previously, I'm finally uploading some images after being so lazy in the last few months. Here's a selection of the most interesting ones:

And true to any British track day event, cannot be complete without half the cars being Caterham Sevens:

This Subaru's bodywork was imaculate, I can't believe it can live on the track and still be in such condition... The photos haven't been touch, the paint work does look that good

Another highlight, one of 320 ever made, with 320PS:
Subaru%20Impreza%20RB320.jpg

The owner was a great guy, a family of petrol heads. This RB320 was number 14 if I recall (I honestly can't remember, should have taken a picture of the plaque

And, a few Americans and French cars

That will do, hope you enjoyed it, there's more but I think these are the best selection. PM me for H-res originals.

I know the owner of that, great bit of kit and did well to get it ready for the time attack this year after his original car got stolen.👍

Hasn't have traveled far as the company is in Aberdeen

Damn, just noticed that this was the only photo I forgot to erase the registration out on. He certainly came a long way!

Some great pics you have there mate. Yes, the E30 is awesome! Love the Caterham's too.

How did it go on the day? Was there an evo 8 there too with the same livery?
Also know the owner of the red scooby next to it too

The Evo and Impreza were both very quick, and LOUD. In fact the loudest cars on the track were all tuning friendly Japanese cars...

There wasn't an Evo VIII though, would have loved to see that...

Wao, how did I miss that one, nice spot!

Yeah I think you told me that over beer the other day, so that's the last of the 3 in his post? All the more important. Should find those 2 in HK...
