Nissan Micra Uncle Ben Edition.

I'm digging that Nissan.

Parked next to this little guy on the way into the pet store. The interior was fairly nice, the exterior was in fairly good shape too.

Guys loving the posts lately but just a few reminders:

- Some sightings are relative, I've never seen a "new" Challenger in the UK so it would be a big deal if I saw one, However I see tons of Audis, Bimmers and Porsches in almost every generation/combination imaginable since the 90s, which might be a biggie elsewhere. Astons and Bentleys are relatively common here too.

- Please remember to back up any sightings with pics, but please also remember that the rule isn't "pics or it never happened", at least not literally, no one is calling anyone else a liar, but the thread is simply for pics of sightings, and discussion (I realise I discuss only, I have a ton of pics but I won't mention specific models til I get off my lazy ass and put them on Flickr, and share them!)

Goat. The picture is dark because I was shooting through a tinted window, and the setting I use on my camera (which makes shots of moving objects less blurry) makes some pictures very dark.

Less blurry moving objects would be shorter exposure time ('fast shutter'), but that equals less light in the camera, which means darker photo's. Probably the sports setting I'm guessing? Perhaps try with one of the other modes.

I messed around with my camera one day and found that Shutter Speed Priority works best. The pictures are usually fine as long as I don't shoot through a tinted window, but I had no choice then.

In Boston now, saw a white Maserati GranTurismo at a Mercedes dealer on my way to the metro station. Saw a black M6 convertible in the city but my Ipod was off when I walked past it on the intersection.

:dunce:

Do you guys seriously consider those Audis, BMWs and Benz's rare and are worth posting?
An RS5 & an 8 Series wearing Alpina wheels are certainly interesting enough.

Remember, the title is, "Did you see anything good today?", not, "Did you see anything rare & worth posting today?" :dunce:

nice Galaxie

an appropriate Porsche for the neighborhood... rear lights looked rounded=968? 928? 924?

And then THIS! (Ignore my temp fix mirror, car came without one)

1976 Celica GT! Looked freaking awesome from the front coming at me, like a Jensen or Fiat Dino. Had to turn around and get next to him. Hand on the stick cruising, I can get that now. He liked my '86 Z, too. Hope my car is almost as awesome some day.

Edit: not my pic, but you gotta know what the front of the Celica looked like. Yeah, pretty badass.

I don't know one Audi from another (excluding the R8 and TT of course), so I don't post any of them, but I'll post any M car or AMG I see, no matter how common they may seem to some of you.

I remember someone posting a brand new Dodge Ram in this thread quite a few months back. Not something you'd expect someone to post in this thread, except that it was someone in England. I thought that was pretty awesome, and well worth a post.

Just because they are common to you doesn't mean they're common to everyone else. I don't know how many times this has been said.

Yeah, where'd that fellow from the Philippines go? At first he was always posting cars some of us were like, umm, sorry, but not so good... except then he explained that all of them were gray imports. He might post a Camry, but it would be because there are only 100 of them in the country, something like that. Then it all made sense.

So don't be quick to prejudge, if you don't understand why it's good to that person, ask.

I think you're talking about this guy: jus1029

He's still active, just not in this thread. I enjoyed his posts, even though most of the stuff he posted was stuff I seen everyday.

I'll still post an FRS if I see one, even though I'm guessing most people here see them quite often. I've seen one in Indiana.

Any Audi with an S or even better RS, BMW with an M, or Mercedes with an AMG is rare (unless you're in like Beverly Hills or Orange County, CA or something).

I'd be willing to be most of the people on here that post actually have seen these cars. I have no reason not to believe someone, I see cars all the time and can't get pictures of them. It's strongly recommended that you post pictures but they aren't required.

Then what's the point? I come in here for pictures of cars, not for someone to say "Ah, I saw a Ferrari F12 on the way to work today, looked good."

What do you prefer?

This:

I was walking, then I turn to my left and see a F12!

or

Anyways .. look at what my dad saw some days ago:

I'll leave that up to you to decide. ;)

BMW Z3 M. Didn't know they made these, assuming it's real. Also, sorry for missing the back end, you can still see the M badges though.

Yeah, they made those... let's see, I've spotted 6 in the past couple years, half of them coupes.

Edit: and, Lincoln... Town Car? Looked very aggressive, with license plates CEO LIFE. Felt like snapping a shot.
