I was walking to the bus yesterday, and it was quite an interesting trip. First thing I noticed was that my actual next door neighbour had just purchased this:

So that was already pretty surreal, completely wasn't expecting to see a DB9, and now I get to see one every morning. Then about 5 minutes walk away from my house, I see this parked at the local dentists.

Weird day.

Almost every version of production TR in town earlier. More of a scattered convoy than a meet up since nobody was around.

First time seeing a Bristol outside of a planned event... or London for that matter.

And another...

Bristol Blenheim

And a third, which was actually the first one I saw over the weekend but had no chance to get a shot of. 412 in white.

And my best random spot. I kid you guys not we were trying to find a exit but what I didn't know is that this one had a Ferrari dealer. And at the dealer was a Challenge Stradale! And it was leaving right as I got there so I got out of the car and ran to it. I was able to film it leaving the dealer and was only able to get this shot of it.
IMG_6742.JPG

Also at the dealer there was this Aventador.

No idea why it was so dirty.
If all the Ferrari pictures are not ok to post I'll remove them.

The local Fiat/Alfa Romeo dealer had a little event today where people could come down and look at the Giulia. They had 4 regular ones (4-cylinder) in the showroom and a single blue Quadrifoglio. (pic below) I met my brother there and after we looked at the showroom cars for a bit we were able to take a silver base model out for a drive. I tell you what, that turbo-4 gets up and moves. The car rode really nice, and the interior was certainly not terrible. Would make for a nice daily driver. The salesman that helped us was a breath of fresh air, the guy actually knew his stuff. We were there for a while because we were just standing around talking engine swaps and stuff.

I can't post proof, because I couldn't get my phone out of my pocket while I was driving, so you'll have to take my word for it.

McLaren 720s

Some of you viewers of Top Gear are familiar with the Millbrook Proving Ground and Test Track. Well, I live just down the road from there and today as I was going across the roundabout which has the exit to go to said track, waiting for me to go past and enter the roundabout was a damn McLaren test car. As I approached the shape I instantly thought was McLaren. No fancy paintwork, but covering the front bumper and the lower sides of the car was that plain black fabric looking stuff they sometimes use to cover up the cars. They had cut holes in the fabric for the front light clusters to be visable obviously for legal reasons, but there is your dead giveaway. Those front clusters are so unmistakeable. I wish I had a dash cam to prove it.

Travelling for work today and what do I spot on the freeway...

The pinstripe on the bottom of the door proudly declared it as a Shelby GT

I must admit I've never seen a 4 door Pontiac Tempest...

I was driving, so no pics but moments after sharing a knowing nod and smile with a fellow Swift Sport owner, I saw a bright red Tommy Kaira Impreza. It looked period correct so hopefully it was a genuine M20.

And for those who don't check the event thread I saw a new GT
