Ford F-150 SVT Lightning 2001

The first good one, after the bad one, but before the really good one. In blue.

Come again? First, that was the final Lightning style produced...unless you're thinking of the newer Lightning concept. Second, the first gen wasn't all bad. It was able to pull .88 G's, and had many firsts for both Ford and trucks in general.

I don't remember

I saw a bentley continental gt today. I know you are thinking so what. But it was matt black, it was tuned looking with a spoiler and side skirts and had arab number plates.

It is really beautiful, I remember.

Yesterday going shopping after work a Mercedes Benz E63 AMG
4858423162_19a6df5ff9.jpg

At the shopping mall this Carbon Fibre looking BMW3, guess it is a paint job, since all the exterior was looking like this.
4858424596_74d71d3b73_b.jpg

and at lunch a Peugeot RCZ in bright daylight standing still and a good location for once (they start to come more and more on the street)
4858425034_80f17fbf35.jpg

The new BMW 5 series, I'm stuck at the 528i till now and it was driving, so decided not to take the picture, hope to get a higher end engine one soon.

@ kjacobs03: You so Lucky, Lucky, Lucky. Got to drift it? :scared:

Is the carbon look BMW 3 series a standard 3?

Since it seemed fully repainted, there was no more type indication in the back.
From what I saw, very standard 3, but then I'm not a specialist.
Still do not understand why you would put money in a paint job like this, can not believe in full carbon, since it would be very expensive and would only make sense on something conceived more in a racing spirit.

P.S: took the picture for the look, not the car!

It could quite easily be a 335i - which although is no M3, it isn't too shabby in it's own right.

It would be incredibly hard to actually paint a carbon weave on a car so it's likely to be a vinyl wrap. It'll probably cost about 500 Euros for a car of that size, which isn't a great deal.

I've not got a photo since I was driving but I saw a Spyker C8 today! It was bright orange and was causing a few people to slow down for a gawp in the traffic  I really wish I'd have had a passenger with me to photograph it now :(

Haven't done too much shooting recently, but here are a few from last night in the rain and a dingy car-park:

Sorry I haven't been around much (been busy working!), but seen this about two weeks ago. R33 GTR.

Missed a bunch of classic cars too... I should have some pics next thursday though!

Well this was a bit lucky, I was videoing some motorbikes going past during the Edinburgh festival cavalcade this afternoon, and what is following them but a bunch of Ferraris, led by a 458 Italia. I'm not posting the vid because it contains images of my family, but here's a crappy pic. In the flesh, the beast is unspeakably beautiful. I kind of wish I wasn't filming it so I could get a proper look!

458t.jpg

There was also a black Ferrari California, two 599s, a 328 GTB and a few others, but the 458 stole the show...

Thanks amigo! Appreciate the comments. Yesterday early AM I was desperate the get rid of a hangover so sat at the end of my road with the camera.

More to come later...

My sister got a nice shot of the 458 Italia on her camera:

And apparently we were standing near to the BBC photographer covering yesterday's cavalcade... I can be seen filming the cars on my phone in the top right of this picture taken from the BBC website :)

I'm hoping that's not a Ferrari branded t-shirt you're wearing Chris ;)

I'm a bit disapointed by the number plate placing on UK 458's. I was expecting it to be placed on that area in the grill where the silver prancing horse sits.

It's a 1936 Frazer Nash Special, with a 1.9 litre BMW-sourced straight four, if anybody cares.

Being driven out and about on public roads. Not at a show, nor in a convoy. Just being driven.

Haha, no it wasn't my Alonso T-shirt - that's in the wash... I mean bin, it's in the bin! The number plate does spoil it just a bit, but I'd forgive it...
