It's been sunny and warm here in sweden the last couple of days, so I took the opportunity to do some car-spotting! Please excuse the horrendously low quality of my photography.

I'm going to need help with the next ones...

Yes, the last one is an El Camino. I think the teal car is a mid-fifties Ford, but it would be good to wait for somebody more knowledgeable than me.

Not an El Camino, a 1974 Ford Ranchero. The other ones:

Black car, it's a late 70s, like 77 or 78 GM product. I was unable to identify wheter a Pontiac or an Oldsmobile, but it's something along those lines.

The blue 4-door is a 1967 Chrysler New Yorker.

The two-tone green car is a 1955 Ford Fairlane.

I'm always amazed at the amount of American cars that show up in Europe.

So I joined the Instagram train.

These were by my parents. They went out to see a movie in the car rich area of Michigan, so they took my camera.

Alright Cano, my dad saw this at an auction and we have no idea what it is. It says Crown Victoria, Ranchero, Fordomatic, and Fairlane. It's one of 3 things. A car we have never heard of or seen, a one off concept, or a really well put together custom.

Wow. A really, REALLY well put-together custom. The bodywork on the thing is very very good. The Ranchero started in 1957, this was a 1955 Fairlane. The Ford-o-matic is the name of the trans it came with.

I come in peace!
Nismo_Skyline, the last one looks like a custom BelAir.. with trimming adjustements thats been converted to a pick up by the looks of it..

It's a car show, so it would go there. Id link you to it but i don't know how.

It's Rue's thread l think.

Awesome spots Encyclopedia, the MG is indeed an MG, not sure which exact model though. My family is originally from Göteborg and I have friends there, hoping to visit in the not too distant and the fact that it seems to have all manner of cool cars is quite the bonus =)

American cars have always been popular in sweden. They're especially in smaller cities and in the country side.

Infact, and I may have mentioned this earlier in this thread, the worlds largest car meet for american cars is held annualy here in sweden. :)

There's vids of it on youtube. A lot of nice cars there. And raggare which is a swedish phenomenon.

It's a pretty nice city to live in. :)

i hate the lights on the new focus, they look utterly ridiculous. If you cut off that prong going down the side and that would be one sexy car

+1

Guys i need some help identifying a car.. its black, rounded at the back and i was thinking an old mercury deluxe. Any ideas on what car it could be?

PS: Sorry for the vague details. Its in the back of a mechanic's shop so i can't see it properly or take any pictures.

I wish you luck, I really do but:

1. Wrong thread, see the OP

2 That is perhaps the vaguest description you could possibly offer. It's black and the back is rounded really isn't much of an advance on "it's a car"
