Few things this weekend

On both occasions I was driving. Two days ago I spotted a 1997 light duty F-250. I have seen VERY few of these through the years. If memory serves the more common 3/4 ton Ford that year was the 92-96 square body style. Some were built with the "jelly bean" shape, which is what I saw.
I've seen all of perhaps 17 of them. One I saw in 1999 had Cobra emblems.
The vast majority of the Jelly Bean trucks were F-150's. The Super Duty line came out in 1999. When it did, the existing light duty F-250 was renamed the F-150 7700. Those are much more common.
EDIT: Here's a photo of a random 1997-1998 F-250. The way to tell which model year it is is to look at the tail pipe. In 1998 they lengthened the exhaust for that entire generation, it exits behind the right rear tire instead of in front as it did in 1996 and 1997.

The second sighting was a Corvair, pictured below. There are two or three of them around. Only the blue one I saw today looks operational.

Oh and I saw a Gen 2 Ford Tremor. I always see that one though. I think that guy might be stalking my wife and flirting with her some, so I should talk to him about that.

I was getting back home from the 2025 Greenwich Concours d’Elegance yesterday when I saw this Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX! The driver even gave me a little thumbs-up after I took the shot.
