Alright, mystery solved:

2mewnz9.jpg

These cars are a 1965 Chrysler 300 (although a lot of Chrysler, Plymouths and Dodges had the same tail lights, the 300 is the only one with the tiny fins.) and a 1968 Chrysler New Yorker.

Technically Communist, but having said that, just wait and see the cars that will be heading to China proper in the not to distant future...

The really sad part is, Alaska could probably have the same supercar population if local companies run and staffed by local people were allowed to extract our famous oil, mineral, and seafood wealth, rather than out-of-state and non-US companies getting whatever pittance the federal government cares to release.

Hey, W&N, delete your PM inbox! Or at least go check the GT2 forum.

And Rue, you stopped labeling your photos! I'm getting better but still mostly ignorant and it's helpful to know what I'm looking at... still, great shots as usual.

In other news, the sun came out today, and may do tomorrow. Not that I got anything to say that'll compare with NISMO's post...

and these brothers of sorts, 740 looked especially nice from the rear. I'm guessing these guys are co-owners of the upscale Russian restaurant in this plaza...

Hey Jeff, you got yourself the new C63 Coupe there! Nice one! Don't think there's been one in the thread yet, someone correct me if I'm wrong. Great spots all round!

Great spots Jeff! Today, I've seen a fair share of interesting cars. They would be a 911 930 turbo, JCW Mini, and a Z06 C6 Vette. Of course, I never got a picture of any of them, which means no picture, no proof. However all I got out of it was this VW Rabbit Pickup/Caddy. I'm not sure if it's considered interesting/rare. So if it's not, go ahead and laugh at me. :nervous: I find them interesting and pretty uncommon here...

Looks an awful lot like a S class from the rear tail lights and body shape. Not really a fan of the S class really, wish it looked more like the E class.

Richard Hammond was in town.

This was the best one ;)

I hate that. I saw few cars like a couple more Corvairs and a BMW M6 but was either movin' too fast, busy or didn't notice them in time to snap a picture.

Yes, a kit unfortunately. Almost certainly based on a 930. Respect the guys taste in cars, bu the execution could have been a lot better. Still, interesting spot there.

So another entry:

Last week coming home this was my first Lamborghini in Luxembourg:

Luckily it was waiting "for some reason"; 2 houses away from my flat:

The Abarth in picture is quite common, about 2 weeks ago I went to train my ankle after spraining it; at the airport and saw these less common ones:

and a Saab (RIP for the brand till the government saves it):

On US cars, there is very little official import so they are not common, resale value is very bad as well. This one was at my parents: Stingray

P.S. Have some material from end of 2010 near Belgravia left to publish as well.

What happened to all the Houston spots in this thread?

Sorry I've been neglecting this thread. Life's been busy. I've been spotting occasionally but I haven't gotten around to uploading the spots. I'll try to get some up later this evening after work.:)

My only good spots today were Ferrari, doesn't happen often.

F430

360 (at least half of it)

Can anyone spot the Testarossa? had to adjust the brightness to see it.

another insane post, sorry; this was about 4 hours again

I officially retire from car spotting in Hong Kong. Passing the gauntlet to you IcyJ. I have far too muh work on my hands in the next few months and you seem to be able to do a far better job than I could... Over to you, sir!

Yeah IcyJ, you've basically made yourself a monopoly in car spotting in HK :D
I gotta go to the out skirts if I want to post anything remotely original

I see Hong Kong is still the spot for all cars. Never the less, here's my tiny post from today.

My day started even before I got close to where I was going. Came up fast behind me, had to box it in to get a shot of it, and was gone at 100mph soon after. GT3 RS 4.0!!!!

then surprisingly slow spotting, first three places were empty, but the 4th came up big. My first R8 V10! Also happened to meet a guy from ferrarichat while shooting this, he must've recognized my truck because he just said, hey, are you Jeff?

Jeff, your poking around up in Cleveland, Superior Ave. and the Euclid Ave. area. Near 20 and the 322 vicinity. I know exactly where your finding your spots. Great stuff man. 👍. Loving the Green ACR .

Kamuifanboy, please just post ANYTHING from Japan. Kei-Cars, minivans, JDM saloons... anything. I'm so envious.
