-> Trying to keep up...

some jewels i found yesterday.

range rovers

^ I also see a Hi-Lux 2WD & a L300! Now I'm itching to drive the L300! :dopey:

an old merc
^ Epic W123 wagon is epic. 👍

porsche 911 [996]
^ And its a Turbo nonetheless! :)

porsche 911 [996]

my second, so far! :d
^ I also see a Hyundai (H100) Starex & Nissan's X-Trail! That Jeepney looks really beat up I guess its a early to mid '90s model. :sly:

some people would be interested with one of my finds.

bmw 740li
^ Gwapo ni sekyu ah!

-> Damn that L300 again!! :ouch:

vw corrado
^ Wow! An abandoned Corrado!!!

-> When I get back, point it where it is. I might get it and resto-mod it! (hint: R32 conversion)

land rover defender

..with, what appeared to be, a uk or hk license plate.
^ Yeah, the Pinoy plate ruined the whole awesomeness of the 110. :indiff:

^ Um sorry, thats a Z51 w/ the LS3 & adjustable throtte exhaust. Not enough wide and air intakes to be a ZO6. ;)

996 turbo
^ With a base Panamera as a bonus! 👍

my finds from yesterday and today.

yesterday

ford fire truck

our neighborhood firetruck
^ Man, how will it fit between houses in San Juan!? That thing is HUGE over there, maybe its reserved for Greenhills area.

today

mitsubishi eclipse
^ I was so disappointed when this car came out as new back in high school. Here I am hoping for a GSX model (AWD + 6M/T), but instead we got the GS-T 'Global Model' (FWD + 4A/T). :indiff:

-> Too bad the Honda City didn't come with a 1.5 VTEC w/ 5M/T. The only place you can get that is in Mexico (the country, not Pampanga). My only reason go to Mexico is to test drive THAT particular City, not much else.

old toyota camry
^ A wagon model make it even rarer (and more epic)! 👍

EDIT -> Wait a minute, is that a Lite Ace Pickup!?

scaled.php

^ OMG!

porsche 911 [993]
^ Love them (air-cooled) Turbos!!!

EDIT -> Ooh, ooh!!! A Land Cruiser 200 too!!! :dopey:

my third! :d i can't believe san juan city has so much porsches!
^ Simply because the first Porsche dealership was at EDSA & Ortigas nearby Tropical Hut and the Shrine/Robinsons Gallaria. ;)

-> Too much commenting little sharing...

So every muscle car

Not even close.....I wish. Its summer so you see them more now with car shows every Thursday and Friday here in Western NY. In the winter they garage 'em.

*Facepalm*

This thread is for pictures of cars you have seen. Otherwise it just turns into an endless stream of ludicrous claims. :)

Pics or nothing happened, gentlemen. As FordMKIVJ5 said, this thread is for pictures, not claims.

Hey Nismo, was the "Vauxhall" left or right hand drive?

The tail lights are defianately not Vauxhall standard anyway. If it was infact genuine, then the owner went to a lot of trouble shipping his Omega over. Great businessmans rear wheel drive car, but not worth the hassle if it is the real thing........

Yes, we know you've seen all the muscle cars in the world because nothing else exist (specially Fords, omg) and that the R8 sounds awesome. Without pictures nobody gives a damn crap...

Not even close.....I wish. Its summer so you see them more now with car shows every Thursday and Friday here in Western NY. In the winter they garage 'em.

And EVEN LESS SO if they are from a show. This thread is for:

a) Posting pictures

When you are able to completely fathom that (make twice sure you can), then:

b) Posting pictures of street-spotted cars. In the wild. Car-show pictures DO NOT count here, there is a thread for that called, amusingly, "did you see anything good today - Event and Showroom edition". So if our Mustang friend wants to back up his claims with pictures, we'll be more than happy to see them over there.

If you don't have pictures of stuff, please refrain on commenting on here telling us what you saw.

Or you can also go read the first post, just like the thread title sez.

Is it really that difficult? REALLY?

Hi, i've been checking this thread out now and then, some great car spotting. I've just started doing a bit of car spotting myself, nothing exotic but some interesting snaps nonetheless.

All pics taken with my camera phone, trying to find a decent camera at the moment.

BMW M3

Audi RS4

Morris Minor

Mercedes-Benz W114

Thanks :)👍

Nice ones mp10, haven't seen an RS4 convertible before.

Oh, and I think the Merc is a W114 or W115 from the 70's.

How am I supposed to get pics if

A. My phone won't even turn on
B. I see them at the last minute parked when someone else is driving me away from them.

Don't care if none of you beleive me, I know what I saw. Beleive me, if I could get pictures, I would. Google maps might be able to help me here.

These aren't from a car show. I just said that car shows are frequent are here. These were in parking lots, driving etc. I'm completely aware of what I'm supposed to do here but because of other reasons I'm able to in some cases yet just want to share my story.

If you don't get a picture don't post about it. It's a pretty simple concept to grasp. I miss cars all the time.

Both arguments are perfect examples of situations where you shouldn't mention seeing a car unless there is some...

(...) I just want to share my story.

...about them. I know I'm being an @$$ now and I DON'T want to put the two of us in a conflict, but you didn't share any story, you just listed a lot of muscle cars and that's it.

I miss cars all the time.

This is how it's done PROPERLY. You missed a car - you can't prove you saw it, thus you don't mention it.

1.) This shows a post PERFECT for this thread - with a proof.
2.) This RS4 looks damn small, I was no idea the Convertibles are so small...

Thanks, op updated :)👍

Thanks for the feedback 👍

For those who post claims of sightings without pics, and really aren't getting this thread, don't take it as everyone saying "pics or it didn't happen", no one is claiming you didn't actually see the cars, but this thread is simply for PHOTOS of spots, end of. Sure I could simply list all the rarities i've seen (or thought I did, another important point in favour of pics) but no one here will give a rat's ass, because that's not what this thread is for.

By all means go start a "list the cars you think you've seen" thread, and see how that goes.

EDIT: Would it perhaps be a good plan if one of us (preferably someone who comes up with pics, i'm being a little tardy there I know) to start a "Son of DYSAGT" thread but where the thread title specifies pics of sightings? Then we can all just switch to that. How about "Did You Snap Anything Good Today"?

Or ask a mod to change the title :) Don't know if it would matter much though.

Hmm dunno, I think it's a pretty important distinction, between seeing and snapping (or some other clear title)

Not sure mods can amend the thread title, thought it was just the OP? As long as everyone sticks to it though, it's easy enough to just start a new thread. The "Guess that car" thread is a good example, now on V3.
