Difference: Tuner cars / Normal Cars

Just wanted to know, what is the difference in parts between one of the tuner cars and a normal car.

i.e what upgrades would you perform to a normal car to put it on par with the tuner cars?

There is an innumerable number of differences between two categories of car taken a single part of specification into account, the horsepower, chassis, weight, improved lateral movement and such.

This post has all of the tuner cars and the parts they're fitted with.

Something to note though, is that there are parts that can't be fitted onto these cars. I would say you should fit these parts on to the cars you're tuning up. Of course, if say you can't get a turbo for a tuner car but can for a normal car then you have to check if the tuner car is a turbo. Don't follow downforce though as you'll never get the levels of the tuner cars.
