um, just post anything that you think is hard about any of the tracks in gt3. this thread is sort of, to help out people when racing. so they dont run into any nasty surprises.

yea how do i get round the complex string in 59 seconds ?

Use a jet plane :rotfl:

Good thought I just had.... Has anyone taken a hybrid out to Complex String and raced for lowest time....??

Anyway, there is the legendary corkscrew at Laguna Seca. That along with a couple of those other turns there. Apricot Hill can be troublesome sometimes. Watch out for the  that happens when you race Test Course, too!!! :p

Being used the GT2 the nastiest suprise for me was discovering that you have to slow down way sooner when topping the hill at Seattle. WAY sooner. or you will put the nose of the car into the wall... HARD!! don't ask me how I know:D

Naawww the most $hitty track is the SS11 reverse...
Monaco is a good one. I love the challenge. But that damned SS11 feels like a pinball machine !!! :D

The Tokyo track has a pretty nasty surprise on the narrow twisty section, always seems to catch me by surprise. Theres a left hand kink just before the road opens for the wide hairpin that leads onto the main straight that I always seem to take either too fast, ro too slow! Personally I love the Monaco/Cote d'Azue track, always have, always will! And the corkscrew at Laguna Seca is a great corner, and while tricky to master is great fun to drive.

The 90 degree corner at the top of the hill at Seattle is a pain to get right as well, 'cause you need to break so much sooner than you did in GT2.

Other than that, they're all great, and none are really 'difficult', some are just more challenging than others! :D

For the liscense test at Cote D'Azure Use the MT option and run the whole thing in 3rd gear. It will take a couple of tries but it works.

Seattle is cool

When you get to that turn at the top of the hill after jumping.... Just brake as soon as you land from the second jump... If you jump again, you fly into the wall every time! As soon as you land, BRAKE!!! Of course make sure you are towards the left wall going up the hill, that helps also :)

Toyko is awesome, too! I have no issues with this track... :burnout:

thanks for all the posts, and one of my own:
on cote d'azur, the part where u have to go round the super tight hairpin turns. on one of them there is a pavement with a little kink on the left, if u go too slow and drive over it, somehow, your tires get caught on it and your car gets stuck. i found that out in the tt races.

i dont have any tracks i find overly difficult, but if theres one that just buges the crap outta me to drive, it would have to be Deep Forest II, its not hard, i just dont like it, its not a good "drivers" track, the best "drivers" track in the game would have to be Apricot Hill, keeping a good racer off your back in those S's can be killer if youre inexperienced in strategic racing (which i am :D )

i also LOVE MidField, Trial Mountain and Grand Valley, theyre all great drivers tracks, when 2 racers are head to head, one slip at a key passing point and the rest of the race is over

ya gotta love it :p

errr, that last post should have read, which i am not, because i am a very strategic, methodical racer, i know all the key passing zones on all the tracks, so whoever im competing with had better not slip, cause it only takes one and all youll see for the rest of the race is tail lights and exhaust pipes, unless of course i start in first, or grab the "holeshot" then all youll be seein for the WHOLE race is lights and piped, sorry to get off topic, but i gotta defend my mad drivin skillz (even if its from my own bad typing skills :D )

Once you nail that last license test on cote d'azur, it actually becomes a fun circuit ! At least the ride isn't boring :d

greetz
Apclps

maybe I'm sick, or just love to drive, but I really do enjoy Cote D'azur.

The Jumps in Seattle are a bear. I don't really hate the seattle track, just abhor the Jumps. Skip the "True to life" tracks, and flatten these out. Thanks PD.

On another note Cote D'azur is french for "blue beach"

DONT LIKE APRICOT HILL ANNOYING COURSE AND SEATTLE BACKWARDS IS FUNNY, deep forest backwards ia a *****!!!

i like Cote D' Azur as well, its a fun, challenging circuit to drive
it is the ultimate drivers course, you cant just rely on your 1000hp Skyline to whip you around the track, unless you got mad drivin skills(like me :D ) youre screwed in Monaco (Cote d' Azur)

I actually started liking Monaco after the S-license test. In the FF cup in pro I settled on the least likely car for the race and won with it. The VW LUPO is the bomb for that course.

Monaco gets on my nerves but only when doing it in the GT-one car for the licence, i don't mind Monaco after that tho, Grand Valley speedway 2 is a beautiful track.

Read between the lines. :D

Anyway, I don't like SSRR11 II... SSRR11 is fine, but reverse is pure h•••. Other than that, there are no tracks that give me trouble, though I have a strong disliking for Deep Forest II, because as another member said, it just doesn't feel right... the track just isn't designed for high-speed cars..
