Could somebody please point me in the direction of any scientific evidence that suggest bluetooth or other forms of low energy radio waves can be harmful?
I work in plasma physics and frequently use high power Radio Frequency generators up to 3.5Kw. We use Faraday cages purely because RF power can induce heating in the body, and at 3.5Kw that heating effect would be damaging. However this type of radiation does not cause damage to DNA, the heating effect could kill cells, but that would require a temperature increase of > 2 degrees Celsius. This is something which cannot happen with powers below 10 watts, and the EU legal limits of 2 watts per kilogram of tissue are more than sufficient to keep everyone safe.
The parts of the EM spectrum you must worry about are Gamma rays (source: stones, walls, spent fuel rods from a nuclear reactor), X-rays (source: medical procedures and cosmic rays during high altitude flights) and ultra violet rays (source: the sun, sun beds). These can cause ionisation and damage DNA. But unlikely to cause cancer over the course of a life time because damaged DNA usually either dies (with no effects) or repairs itself.
As for organic food I try to avoid buying or eating it. For these reasons;
first of all the population of the world is increasing by the population of Germany each and every year ~80 million people. Currently about 2/5 of the worlds population lives without a reliable source of food. Our solution to this devastating global problem; throw science and years of chemical advancements out the door and drastically reduce the crop yields due to crop diseases which use to be confined to history books before some health conscious 'do gooders' (who've never read a rational scientific report in their lives) decided to think they could push their life expectancy from 78 to 80 at the expense of others with life expectancies < 40.
Apologies if this offends anybody but I had to get it of my chest.
However I think this is a perfect time to plug Jon Stewards Rally for Sanity.
