disappearing cars

has anyone else noticed any cars disappearing from there garage i've lost all the mazdas from mine i had a mx5 and rx7 that just aren't there now. Also one of my friends lost his impeza rally car

Maybe you bought the car and it didn't save for some reason.

Yesterday i bought a Lamborghini Murcielago SV and tuned it up fully then went online and used it for a bit then left after about an hour and turned my PS3 off. I woke up today and found it wasn't in my garage and my money had gone from cr.7,000 the night before too cr.600,000 when i woke up.

I'm actually kinda happy cause i wasn't that great of a car.

Are you sure you didn't view the garage when you were entering a race, as it filters the garage and just lists eligible cars. I did this once by mistake and threw a fit thinking my FGT had gone. How stupid did I feel.

Saying that I've also seen the bug where you buy a car, mod it and then quit. Only to find when you reload that you've still got all your money. Confused the hell out of me.

Are you sure you locked your garage properly? There's a lot of dodgy people about in your neighbourhood, so you should be extra careful.

Maybe you are looking in the wrong (P/S) tab, or online you are looking at the recommended cars. You can not view your whole garage online unless you set them all as favorites.

One of the prize cars never showed up in my garage. I did the Gallardo Aspec and Bspec events within the last 2 weeks. Received the Lancia Delta S4 and Lancia Stratos. Went to accept them in car delivery. All seemed fine but in my garage the Stratos is completely missing.
I did not sell it, gift it, etc. Never even raced it really. Reading the OP, along with some things over the web, I wonder if there's a bug in the game save for cars in garage or something

Same thing happened to me, but not with the cars,with the tyres, would buy a set of Racing Medium for certain cars, use the cars with them on, save the Game, turn it off, put it on again next day, and those tyres would be gone, the Money/Cr would be put back in my balance.done that for a few days.
Works fine now though.

I haven't noticed any cars missing but I have had parts disappear a couple times. I sure hope they can fix this, kinda sucks as hard as you work to make the credits, just to have it stripped from your garage.

A similar thing happened to me for the rally events, I bought snow tires to put on my car to do the event and when I went to race it said I never had the right tires. I checked my inventory and sure enough they weren't there even though I bought and installed them.

Yea one could only hope haha, I'm glad they haven't released any info on which cars they are upgrading, I hope they don't even tell us about the patch this time. Imagine going on GT5 to get your daily fix and theres an update, then you go to your garage and 90 percent of your standard cars are premium....

I've lost two cars that I know about. The first one was a Prius G Touring Selection which was a prize car. I never sell prize cars by the way. The second one was a Tank Car. I got two of them, one as a ticket gift and the other as a prize car. Now I only have one. Again, I did not dispose of this car either. I always manually save the game before quitting.

Additionally, on two occasions I loaded the game to find a car missing its picture in my garage. Triangle and create thumbnail fixed that issue on both occasions but I now don't really trust the save mechanism very much anymore.

A save that forgets things is no joke.

Same here! I tuned my RM Camaro SS to have more than 600hp, the next day, It was back to 470hp! I just gave it new tyres, cba to do engine mods again, lol.

Oh bugger. I've got far too many cars now to keep track of. I hope they don't start going missing, as it'll take me ages to notice by the time I get around to driving them

I wonder if it has anything to do with "glitches" / exploits and the like?
