Proof positive that, with a body kit and a lick of paint, ANYTHING can look good.

Even this?

All the DLC touring cars are 🤬 i thought the power, PP etc would be similar so you could have nice races but they're not :( tbh i feel the car DLC was a waste. Guess i'll have to keep waiting on premium touring cars in GT5.

I think they are supposed to be used in a one model cup. So the miata vs other miatas etc..

Anyway, i bought only the track but now after i saw some online i'm interested in these cars..i don't know what to do. :boggled:

You should've just brought the bundle pack, its worth it for the outfits & paints but not the cars.

A 697PP car is a waste is it.

Runs with the top of the pack, Audi R8 LMS and Fords GTs Test car IIs and beats them.

Anyone tried the faster TCs with sport soft tyres yet? Absolutely mental on Spa. Even with balls of steel ;) I was hanging on for dear life in the GT-35 chasing down the Ford GT LM. The new AI is totally homicidal in dog fights.

I really like the TC cars. Today I had massive fun racing against a friend split-screen on Le Mans, I with the Prius TC, he with the Razo Silvia GT300...and I won  and he drives good! That beast reaches 260 KM/H untuned! More than the Razo Silvia (eheh)
I also love the R32 GTR TC. The stock car is pure awesome, the TC version is even better...that spoiler makes me feel...good feeling 👍
Overall, they are a cool addition to my car collection :)

I feel like I should ask this here, but I've been wondering. What are the maximum downforce ratings for the Touring Cars? Are most of them 35/60?

^^^ lol

I would gouge out my eyes, but I don't want the last thing I ever see to be THAT...

lmao
So much good going on.

I'm shocked that people are surprised the Prius and CRZ aren't rwd!? The real cars aren't so why would these be????
That was my first though.

Because they are fictional racing versions of such cars....

But there ARE racing versions of those cars. Just FYI if anyone was wondering.

I have my RX7 TC ran in and it's making 650 pp or was that 640?? Hmm can't remember ATM as I'm at work.

Nope had guessed that as well but was wrong

15/35
Dodge
Lancer

20/50
Impreza
Crz
Roadster
GTR 32
Prius

35/60
RX7
GTR 33 / 34 / 35

Most of these, if not all are based off of real cars (r35 tc is a gt3 gtr)

No its not the GT3 GT-R is RWD and this one specs are closer to the GT1 GT-R wich is also a RWD car >>>http://gt1world.com/cars/spec/nissan-gt-r and infact it has more power than the GT1 car and less weight so it could never be the GT3 GT-R that only raced the last two races of the Blancpain endurance series

None of this are based in real cars... maybe the prius:dunce:

Ummm....the R32 TC is a perfect replica of the 1994-95 JGTC R32 GTR as is the R33 TC, it's the R33 JGTC GTR which is what the R33 GTR that raced at Le Mans was based on.

I love most of the DLC cars, but it seems like whenever I go to an online lobby to drive them, everyone else has theirs tuned to the max and on racing soft tyres... I like how they drive as they are. I guess when PD get round to letting us buy more than one I'll have a few.

The Prius is definitely weird, though, it's hard to judge your speed thanks to the CVT and the brakes are terrible, I presume it's the lack of engine braking that does it, but I always thought the regenerative braking was supposed to slow a car down dramatically, to the point where concerns were raised about the fact that hybrids didn't have brake lights for when the driver lifts their foot from the throttle, as they decelerate sharply and cars behind have no warning of that other than the increasing closing speed between them and the Prius in front. I might be making that up, though.

The CR-Z is so awesome, though, it feels a lot like the BTCC cars in Race 07.

I was going moreso on the looks department than the outright performance (I know that GT cars are RWD only for starters...)

compared to...

Definately looks more GT3 than GT1...

Host your own races and enforce the Stock setting and select the tyres you want to run.

I would, if I had a good internet connection. As it is I have a 256k connection that disconnects if all 256k of it is used for more than 10 minutes (and this is sold as a Business connection!), which is shared between about four computers, five smartphones, two PS3's, two iPads and a printer, all on Wifi.

Also, if someone had installed an engine upgrade and tried to use it in a stock setting enforced lobby, would it temporarily remove the upgrade or just disallow them from using the car? Seems a shame to permanently bar a car from a lobby that way... Which is one of the reasons why I haven't done any engine tuning to my TCs.
