For the car dealership, you have to collect the cars on the list down by the garages. There are 4 lists in all, and your daily earnings go up and you get a new car as you do each one. For Cherry Poppers, I sold 100 'ice creams' on one trip and got the asset. Not sure what the magic number is for that one...

You only have to do 50 drug deals in the Ice Cream truck to trigger the asset. Make sure to quit dealing as soon as you get one star and then continue once the star goes away.
