Do you have a guilty secret?

Not being able to complete the AMG Academy, 35 licences out of 60, Vettel challenge with gold and get bored way too fast on a Endurace race (even when there is a good battle with the AI)

My guilty secrets? I use driving line because I can't judge braking, I never legitimately got a Red Bull X2010 (I traded an SLS for a White X2010), I lack the capacity to fairly win a race, and my GT5 disc is not a legitimate copy either...technically ;)

Ecchi-BANZAII!!
So the secret you have is how you gained one whole year from nothing?

No I got it December 26th lol

How can anyone drive with a big bright blue and red line on and have any sense of realism?

Judge braking with the red gear selector number, when it starts flashing brake! Accurate too!

Guilty secret: I made my dad buy 4 copies of GT5, 3 of which are broken thanks to his anger.

Secret? I Cannot for the life of me drive the X2010.......I think it handles like cr*p

Agreed, and to think I feel guilty for using abs on cars I know dont have it.

I enjoy driving NASCAR's around the Nurburgring :guilty:

I have a guilty secret: I just got gold on the NASCAR pit stop test, by pulling straight on to the track and getting rammed by the 3rd place car to get up to speed. Not ashamed one bit though. The other two seem a bit more defeatable and are much more enjoyable to attempt, since you don't have to waste a whole minute of every attempt watching nothing happen.

Used the b-day glitch for Chaparral 2J.
:(

I had quite a few guilty secretes and that's why I started GT5 completely over, well one of the reason at least. :)

I killed a man...

with this thumb.

I can't let up and take it easy during an endurance race...I go all out every single lap...

That's a good thing!

Nice to know some people are from and around the Houston area as well. 👍

Whenever I cant pass a car, or keep up with them, i speed into a corner and ram them of the track. I also try my best to make them spin out. At the Indy Endurance I used the X2010 and i was up a ton of laps, so i picked the Jag XJ9(because they gave me the most headache throughout my career) car out of the field and pinned him against the wall for 5 minutes.

This is quite possibly the dumbest thing I've read. You spent 200+ bucks on one game.....:indiff:👎

OR should I say your dad did.:scared:

I ran it in a stock Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car on racing softs and won by over a second...Was a clean race too so don't get any ideas.
Probably around 300hp lower than a fully modded ZR1

Not much "Stock" with that thing, especially if you have racing softs, then it's definitely not stock. On another note, I'm pretty sure it has a little over 800hp, while the ZR1 has over 900.

To the OP's issue: I think many people have hit on good ideas to getting it. Slow down (use a slower car or just plain slow down), memorize the track... but more important; learn YOUR car. If you know your car can take Aremburg in 3rd gear, make it take it in 3rd... not 2nd, not 4th. If you can bust through Kesselchen at full throttle, then do it... if not, let off the gas or trail brake. Don't try and bombard through Brunnchen's corners in 5th gear, learn what would work best. Someone mentioned the "red light indicator". That's great, but just a guide. A great racer knows when you can hit corners (and which ones) in the higher gear. If you can do this in one car you find difficult, you'll be able to tackle any one of them, because you'll have learned the technique.

My guilty secret: I cried just a little bit with joy when I finally picked up my Collector's Edition copy at Gamestop after waiting over a year's worth of delay.

I bought it from the premium dealer and made no upgrades...so it is "stock" from the dealer. The only exception was the tires which I stated. From the dealer after running it 18.4 miles without a oil change it has 575hp.
What is your issue?

👍 Me too. I thought I was alone lol.

I use all assists besides driving line, AT, and SRF.

I HATE when people use automatic.

I use all aids except driving line and active steering :\ and automatic tranny :(

I'll give you a break because you have an awesome avatar.....

Thanks :) I got the idea from elitedriver123

Why does it bother you whether others use AT? It's not a driving aide either as some cars in the game do have automatic transitions transmissions.

Fixed.
