Do you have a guilty secret?

Stupid auto-spell!!!

Why does it bother you whether others use AT? It's not a driving aide either as some cars in the game do have automatic transitions transmissions.

Fixed.

Even though I hate it, I use AT when I drive my SLR, which is how the way it should be IRL 👍

That was going to be my example. I much prefer MT but for a car like that it's really the more realistic option.

I HATE when people use automatic.
I can't get the rhythm down with my fingers shifting gears and hitting the breaks with my DS3. I've tried different controller settings but nothing feels comfortable... maybe someday when I can afford a wheel...

I see.... Dead people...
Are they nice persons?

Anyway, my secret is that i can't drive on the new road tracks and i hit almost every wall and i make wrong turns :ouch:

I lean into corners!...It doesn't help but I do it anyways...:dopey:

I bought it from the premium dealer and made no upgrades...so it is "stock" from the dealer. The only exception was the tires which I stated. From the dealer after running it 18.4 miles without a oil change it has 575hp.
What is your issue?
lol there's no issue, you said that you had a "stock" ford GT with racing softs, well it's not "stock" if it has racing soft tyres, just saying. :)

I actually want to get into motorsports, not a secret now is it lol.

You wouldn't be the only one. There are a few of us who are guilty of that. I do it most on the first corner of Tokyo when accelerating out and come close to the wall.

They race in... A spec

I lean heavily towards AWD when I have to choose a car to race 'round the ring...It does almost seem like cheating compared to trying to stay on the road in a FR or MR car. Due to this I've ran my fastest lap on the ring in an Audi R8 (4.2 version fully tuned) rather than an LMP or other race car.

I had to use SRF to gold the rally special events. I've never been on a dirt or ice track since, getting tempted to go back now I've forgotten how horrible it was.

You can turn it off for the snow events (regular not S. Loeb). The bots take all the corners at 2 mph and you can laugh and point at them as you completely screw the whole thing up and still catch and pass them sliding half-backwards while carrying 200kg ballast and a 20% restrictor on an otherwise stock car. I think I want to try re-doing them with my 97 Z28 lol. I did find the others to be quite tough as well, as a non-rally driver.

It's called body english... and yes it does help! It's helped me all the way back to the original Super Mario Bros. It took a hard lean to the left on the Eiger Tour of Italy stage coming out of the final hairpin with my rear wheels spinning to get gold. Scared my wife with the scream of happiness.

While grinding Sarthe in the ferrari seasonal, I cut EVERY corner to end the race faster and get my $504k cr and hit the UCD.. Dont hate, its an offline seasonal event.I can destroy them legit, but that takes longer.

^This, I don't use the clutch on my G27 when I shift, and I keep my mic off when I'm online and type to people instead because I really don't like talking to people these days online.

My guilty secret is that I've put over 6,000 miles on my ZR1 RM Corvette grinding on the Indy Speedway just so I can buy tons of standard production cars and then spend ridiculous amounts of time tuning them until they're as good as I can get them. It's like, that's the whole game for me right now!:indiff:

I've grinded for money in the 'ring twice. I swear I won't be doing that kind of thing again.

Got 400 cars in my garage now and I tune them to the max one by one based on the date acquired from earliest to latest. I'm only in 60/400. I test drive them in a seasonal race before I go to the next car. If I like how it handles, I add them to my favorites.

And... I buy all 9 tire choices for each car I tune... haha

Cannot and will not gold the Vettel challenge.

:(

I love the driving line and srf.

* I love Standard cars slighty more than premiums

* I dislike the Nurburgring because its overrated, boring and nothing that special about it

* And Ive Tuned and drive all of my 217 cars all the same, not one car is untouched (and 137 are standards:D)

After so many tries, i cannot even get bronze on the Daytona track with a Nascar!

I refuse to use standard cars

This ^ and This V

I even go as far as to type "mic charging", even if it isn't. Sometimes I just don't want to be bothered with anything, but racing.

I also immediately mute the people who just won't stop talking incessantly or have to do everything through their mics, including having the TV volume up so high that the mic picks up every sound effect from the game, eating, drinking, burping, coughing, sneezing, doing bong hits, yelling at their kids/wife/girlfriend/dog, carrying on personal conversations with someone in their house, etc.

Makes for some nice, quiet racing, as I listen to nothing but engine revs and tires squealing.

This game needs to add a "Microphone Etiquette" section to the Game Manual. 👍

I didn't know you could mute their mics! I will have to look at doing this. Some people don't know how to say more than two words without including the F word, the S word or even the C word!

Yes, while looking at the list of people in the room, find the one who is talking with the little "talk balloon" next to their name. Move the cursor to their name, press X and select "Mute Microphone" or whatever it says, from the list that pops-up. 👍

Sometimes, you have to mute a few before you find the culprit whose mic is constantly transmitting, as the little talk balloon doesn't always come up fast enough.

Now, I just need a "Mute All" option and I'll be sound as a pound.
